Yeah much better than those commentators that are fixed on the random stuff that they try to ignore what happened to finish their story. The other commentator meanwhile "clip that. Guys somebody clip that."
It's kind of stupid actually I turn the audio off 😂😂 like why they talking about random shit so much just focus on the game and make the commentary actually intriguing. Most of what they say is BS anyways 🤷
Those are some amazing commentators. Others will just "yeah thats a nair. uh huh, an Upsmah...". Jeez I dont need anybody to name some moves for me. Just entertain me while we're watching this game man.

Love how Riddles went for a Wolf ditto with Leo and just got absolutely thrashed. Wolf has so much potential that it feels like not many players are really taking advantage of.

Lucina is easier to play than Roy if you favor spacing, air acceleration and edgeguarding. Marth and Chrom are a whole other story though

In the same tornament Leo has two grand finals where he won the first set 3-1 and lose the second 2-3

Roberto Mamani Villa Leo was in loser and riddles was in winner. If a person is in loser bracket and loses, they’re eliminated. If a person is in winner bracket and loses, they’re put in loser
With the person he lost to sending him to losers for both too
@@symphonydelfloyd when you lose during the tournament you aren't instantly eliminated, you go in a second bracket, and if you win every match of this second bracket then you are in finals against the winner of the winner bracket and to win you have to score 2 sets in a row when the one from winner side only have to score one
Riddles played incredibly with Kazuya. The Roy took time to warm up but it shredded too. I somewhat enjoyed this grand finals but I couldnt help shake that Leo was playing lazy or tired. He wasnt moving outside the Wolf much and let certain things happen. Like a Kazuya laser from almost half the stage away just hit him or when he whiffed that tech. These things just felt very atypical of his usual performance and the commentators noticed it too. Anyway, congrats to Riddles for closing it out!

I'd personally like it if squad strike became the tournament standard. It would mix up the meta even more due to matchup formulas and anchor picks and it just feels like Smash KoF which is sick.
That would be super sick but also super corny lol
It would probably be even more exhausting for players on long tournament grinds to not only play three different characters, at least, but try to learn on the fly match ups each and every set. It's a fun mode but I don't think pros would want to do it as the standard even if it would give a greater variety (in theory).
@@TaskMaster5 Pros already have to deal with it in KoF and other team fighters like MvC and DBFZ. The format isn't necessarily longer either as you have the same amount of stocks and if there was any issue of that, adjustments to the rulesets could be looked at. I understand what you mean though but I think in the long run it would just reward character loyalty and push the meta away from harder matchup counters since you would have more options for flexibility in your playstyle.

this is why I still love Project M/+ to this day for the matchups it made possible before Smash 4 or Ultimate. Also having gameplay I enjoyed even more than Melee or Smash 4 during their competitive heydays.

I still believe that Squad Strike is the superior play mode. It's more strategic (team composition & order), more skill-based (have to know how to play multiple characters) and offers more variety for both the player and the audience. Not including this in the online mode was a wasted opportunity.
Really was. Way more likable than timeout sonic and Steve. Would be interesting too because low tiers wouldnt be as terrible as they are.

Leo is a master of swordie historically. I think there's a reason why he likes them and his neutral game transitions well into them all. Yes, he had a good wolf around the pre Joker days too. But he's so known for the swords (Marth, Cloud, now Byleth too). I'd not be surprised that he plays Pyra/Mythra.

Squad Strike is definitely my favorite 1v1 tournament rule set.

Sounds like they call in you spammy for the elbow or something. Lol Probably they just complaining. Anyways, It actually has to do with when and why they use it. “Spammers” tend to use things in place of what’s more optimal or in the wrong scenarios. But because the moves in if themselves are good they are SEMI interchangeable. Usually they aren’t as interchangeable in a offline setting, but are online….And that’s where the “spamming” saying comes in.

Same. Since I’ve started learning Japanese it’s become more noticeable when people say Japanese names in a weird way. As a kid I used to pronounce “Ryu” as “Rye-you”. I still see people pronounce it like that.
