@@sleepyyyyyyyyyyyyy Wdym? I’ve only seen like 4-5 Kazuya players on this earth who do this consistently. If you’re real talking about basic shitty Kazuya “cheezers”, I’m pointing on the 10 hit spammers I see everywhere online.
Kazuya players look at the blue DI line that appears on the opponent’s character model to determine the correct follow-up. The problem is that people can mix-up their DI as the hitstun is about to end which makes Kazuya have to guess. Kazuya’s meta evolved recently by the way they were able to tech chase on platforms and the dash they do after the electric (essentially covers DI in and DI away).
Riddles has been a top player for years. Also this line of logic is like asking ganon to be nerfed because he deals the same amount of damage if not moreso
@@shaghilathar3588 Nah Ganon is nerfed already with that speed lol but Ganon does not have a combo game like kazuya. Also, Kazuya gets even nastier after certain % and the down b (which you cant shield, cause its a grab) does like 60% damage and kills at 40-50% depending on the weight of the character. With kazuya you just tap A and he does a full combo for free
@@Mercerplays What the hell are you even talking about? Ganon has TWO command grabs and no attack kazuya has can do more than 40 or kill earlier than 70. Kazuya has combo game yes but he also is just as slow as ganon if not slower in certain moves. Even sakurai himself showed this. And if you're honestly saying 10 hit combo( which is is literal meme in both smash and Tekken) is what you're struggling with then you're straight trash because that move actually has the highest SDI multiplier in the game
@@Mercerplays Literally no top player thinks so, no tier list says this and even if he was he requires way more execution than any other character to get to that level anyway
Protobanham’s strategy vs Leo in summit, he’s trying to emulate that strategy. If he goes solo, it’s usually due to the matchup, for characters like Samus, he’ll stick with Terry cause Kazuya will get stuck at ledge forever. In Byleth’s case, I’m guessing he went Kazuya cause Terry struggles to recover. Byleth can snuff out Terry’s recovery when he recovers high with the disjoints. Recovering low with Up B is not a good option too cause Terry’s Up B doesn’t snap ledge, and Leo is good at landing the downair.
@@jasonlobo2350 No way. It’s about even on stage. Byleth range stunts Kazuya trying to get in and is one of the only characters that come close to the absurd kill power of Kazuya. Once they’re off stage or on the ledge it’s not even close. Byleth has a million ways to edge guard or ledge trap Kazuyas terrible disadvantage and recovery.
People are saying byleth is getting carried by Leo And yes he is but people are DEF sleeping on how stupid byleth kit is If byleth was even like middle speed or airspeed he would be top 10
Vidéo lenght does spoil it at some parts... There was a time this channel added like extra time at the end so I wouldn't accidentally know the ending lol
Ggs! Byleth obliterates Terry even harder than Kaz since Terry can neither edgeguard Byleth nor defend against an edgeguarding Byleth as well as Kazuya Terry also doesnt have a projectile, reflector, nor projectile invincible moves so Byleth really is one of Terry's worst matchups
@@shaghilathar3588 when did I say I was crying? And when did I say he was at the top? He’s also definitely mid tier, but like we saw in the video, what was the hitbox on his forward kick??? And as commentators said, he spends half the game blue lol

Man...Riddles can't really win with a carry character. It would suck to lose with a character that is super heavy, can kill you in 3 hits, 90% of his moves have super armor, priority and invincibility and your only weakness is ground speed and range.
Honestly they should've reworked/nerf'd Byleth's Nair. The 'final hitbox' is absolute baloney~ After the 'chain spin' hitboxes (those make sense) It has a very awkward *pause* into a disjointed circle hitbox. More over, it doesn't even have visual OR audio representation to express that disjoint : / Timing a meaningful parry feels nearly impossible. TL;DR - How often do you see people parry Byleth's Nair? I rest my case.
Seriously I was thinking the same thing. Man was pressing BUTTONS. The nair spam was fucking crazy. I think riddles should have shielded more in those final games and chosen some OOS options (maybe up B?) to keep Leo off. But what do I know both of em are insanely good
@@sidbazzy1 don't hate the player hate the game. Although I am mad about these playstyles existing, it is the reasonable choice. They are not trying to have fun, they are close to the top of a tournament. Kazuya here is playing Tekken, the only way someone could fight him without spaming zoning moves would be playing Tekken themselves, which only Kazuya can do right now in this game. Even shotos and Terry can struggle to fight Kazuya face to face and competitive fighting games are all about minimizing the mistakes and disadvantages. If any character would get melee with Kazuya he would risk getting predicted once and possibly losing a stock there, while playing from range minimizes that risk. If you wanna see some actual Kazuya playing against opponents that don't zone him and both have chances to show some moves then go watch some Tekken, but even there it will be dificult to see some tournament action for Kazuya since he has almost no plus moves and relies mostly on prediction, making him unfavorable for tournament play.

Lol, the entirety left of top 8 was top players. You send Proto, Leo, Light, Gluto, Sparg0, Kola, Shuton, Gluto, Riddles, Zomba, for example to one tournament. It's just bound to happen xD.
7:25 is this standard Kazuya stuff, haven’t played smash in a while. This combo looks fucking nuts.
Yeah pretty standard for Kazuya cheesers
"Standard", like that, quote on quote, because only Riddles is consistent doing so
@@sleepyyyyyyyyyyyyy Wdym?
@@TheKABE09 actually thats ferps tech Ferps do it to because he invented it
Never heard of riddles until Kazuya came out. Kazuya is just TOO OP. 2-3 hits n youre a 72%
Riddles has been a top player for years.
@@shaghilathar3588 No matter what you say, Kazuya is still way too op.
@@Mercerplays Literally no top player thinks so, no tier list says this and even if he was he requires way more execution than any other character to get to that level anyway
Does anyone know the reason for when he goes solo Terry or kazuya vs flipping between them after every game?
Max & TK are a 🐐d duo.
This game is riddled with clips from both sides
HBox may be right..
Riddles could be the future of this game.
Is there a Instagram that announces these big tournaments ? I wanna gooo
4:28 thats called a misinput, Happens to the best of us.
WAS THAT THE OST OF THAT ONE ICE STAGE IN SONIC UNLEASHED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO
I miss seeing Riddles lose
I'm just shocked that either of these dudes are in Loser's
Man this is a very tough matchup for Kazuya
Its even
@@jasonlobo2350 No way.
5:13 great call. Shoutout to Jay
:)
I watched this on 0.25x speed, it was even more engaging
@7:18 what an answer!!!
People are saying byleth is getting carried by Leo
And yes he is but people are DEF sleeping on how stupid byleth kit is
If byleth was even like middle speed or airspeed he would be top 10
この手の即死キャラはmkLeo戦、拒否されまくって頭おかしくなりそう
I don't imagine a world where Riddles ever takes the set off Leo's Byleth with Kazuya
Yeah Leo too good and never lost his cool. Ggs from Riddles I think he can be top 5 in the world eventually.
Terry definitely has a much better shot in this matchup
@Master Shifu idk man terry might be better
Vidéo lenght does spoil it at some parts... There was a time this channel added like extra time at the end so I wouldn't accidentally know the ending lol
Not really, theyve done that only for frostbite events
@@AlanJHPlata yeah I'm referring to then when they tried out out I kinda want them to use that again
I like the way how Leo dominates this set
They are both combo masters. So this sat was👍
I wonder how bad he would be without Byleth's neutral air LOL
7:27 HOLY SHIT WHAT WAS THAT?
Waiting for them to show squad strike👀👀👀
Don’t give a shit about mkleo just love watching riddles play kazuya and terry
Love to see riddles take a game
Ggs! Byleth obliterates Terry even harder than Kaz since Terry can neither edgeguard Byleth nor defend against an edgeguarding Byleth as well as Kazuya
Terry also doesnt have a projectile, reflector, nor projectile invincible moves so Byleth really is one of Terry's worst matchups
CHARLIE, PLEASE PICK UP RIDDLES!!!
What kinda move was that in 4:30 he l charged it up
The fact he can go head to head with Leo shows how absolute bs kazuya is
Means byleth is more BS
@Master Shifu Mate I don't think you know what luck is
@@shaghilathar3588 😂😂 byleth is super mid tier dude
@@user-wj1hp7on9k If you're crying about how BS kazuya is then literally watch any tier list video. Hes far from the top
@@shaghilathar3588 when did I say I was crying? And when did I say he was at the top? He’s also definitely mid tier, but like we saw in the video, what was the hitbox on his forward kick??? And as commentators said, he spends half the game blue lol
べレス及びカズヤ使いの俺、参考にしてる人同士とかいう最高のカード

damn! leo had kazuya all figured out
He plays the character himself at locals
@@shaghilathar3588 last time I saw him do that he played him like a smash character, no wavedash, no electrics and used more smash attacks than usual. Is there a clip of him playing some actual Kazuya? I would love to see Leo's take on that character.
I saw the spartan kick happening (>tilt)
海外勢カズヤミシマ好きすぎだろ
ゴキステどーやるん?
5:02 he hit the Ferps at 69 !! Lfg
Man...Riddles can't really win with a carry character. It would suck to lose with a character that is super heavy, can kill you in 3 hits, 90% of his moves have super armor, priority and invincibility and your only weakness is ground speed and range.
Love stupid comments like this xD
Op got fucked by a kazuya online

top 1 kazuya vs top 1 player of all time
I think Riddles was kinda nervous, am I right?
He seemed nervous the match before with Zomba too, missing a lotta techs 😥 hopefully experience will get him there
Honestly they should've reworked/nerf'd Byleth's Nair.
Overreaction
Watch light vs mkleo at summit to watch counter play against byleth nair
LETS GO LEO
7:25 yakuza combo!!
下手したら世界最強をも破壊しかねない。事件が起きる日は近いのかもしれない。
と言いつつ、カズヤがベレトに崖端に追い詰められたら他のキャラより一層きつそうだな
Kazuya is just fully broken.
7:27 nothing was happend
leo becomes a right spammer when he gets salty lol
Kazuya is a whack asf character, literally dead from one hit if u play him right
MKLeo THE BEST IN THE WORLD
Pobre kazuya que no vio que no podia jugarle tan pegado a ese man .. No uso ningunos de sus golpes solo por buscar combos bonito que fiasco.
