Looking back at the NEO-era Crokeyz UW artifact control deck, I think the biggest thing that we're missing for a deck like this is Portable Hole: 1-mana interaction that enables Moonsnare Prototype and Disruption Protocol.
I wouldn't say he was the worst but he definitely screwed up a lot. Sometimes accidentally, sometimes intentionally, and sometimes out if plain disregard, but I'd say some of the intentionally evil characters were worse. Urza ruined his plane. Bolas ruined several.
