I have had my Vertuo Pop for about six weeks now and it is used every day! Love the ease of it and thank you for demonstrating all the different size pods. Off to make a coffee now!
Thanks so much for the review, ive been so curious about buying one of these as my old work place had an original machine and the coffee was amazing. Ive missed it ever since. For the price i liked this model because of the colour range and classy appearance, however its so noisy?! That was unexpected. My housemates will actually kick me out 😂😂😂 Very thankful to have found that out now not later
Thanks for the video! It’s a lot louder than some of their other models which is unfortunate. I think I’ll hang onto my old model just because of this!
My friend gave me this machine the coffee is lush but capsules are rediculase in price what is the coffee like in the original machines as those capsules are much cheaper thanks.
Pretty good explanations. It might be an idea to make sure your cup or mug are not too cold before the coffé pours in otherwise you may end up with a coffee that is not hot.
I'd no idea they produced so much froth! Personally I don't want all that on an americano or an espresso, just some usual crema. I think I'll have to stick with my old original Nespresso.
I won one of these at a golf tournament . I’ve had the old style (capsules) for about 15 years. - multiple machines . I like the old ones better , this thing is mammoth , but I can’t complain because I won it. Oh , it also sounds like construction machinery , what the heck? again , I can’t complain lol.
I have seen that as a sort of hack for the pop+ in the US to pour a double espresso from mug size capsules I think 🤔 If you’re using the standard double espresso capsules though then you only have to press it once 🙂☕️
I think it is very strange that they continue with manual closing on new machines instead of automatic closing as on VertuoPlus. Seems like a step back.. That said, the honeymoon phase with my L'Or Barista Sublime are over. Among the total of 8 different nespresso machines I've had, this is by far my favourite! With the possibility of using different sizes of capsules, you can make a mug sized coffee, you get the best of both Original and Vertuo, but without the terrible foam of 230ml vertuo coffee
Yeah I much prefer the open and close mechanism on the Vertuo Plus too! Well you just persuaded me to order a Lor Barista Sublime to try out. The deal I got comes with 150 pods and think some of those are double espresso so should get to try out a few varieties ☕️😁 Look forward to seeing what it’s like 👍🏼
@@A2BProductions It will not disappoint! I think you got a pretty good deal, I didn't get any extra capsules with the purchase. I strongly recommend the Lor Grand Cafe Filter style capsule (XXL yellow/gold colored which you get in the tasting box with the machine). much better than any mug sized coffee I've tried from Vertuoline! Hope you post unboxing and review videos of the machine later on :)
Will look out for that capsule ☕️👍🏼 It was a no brainer in the end as was £59 with 150 free pods including some XL pods too. Would have been silly not to try it 😅 Thanks for sharing!
some of us arent that lazy we need the machine to do Everything for us. this will blow your mind...i dont let my used pods go into the discard tray....i grab them before the arms get them and pull them out before they fall.
Yes you can! We actually reviewed a little kit on the channel we got off Amazon in the past which came with a bunch of sticky foil lids 🙂 Just in case anyone wants to watch that one too
Hey, I recently got myself the Vertuo Next machine only because I drink a lot of coffee and want big mug sizes and because I'm a fan of the crema. Unfortunately, I found that the coffee is not hot at all and the crema is rather foam. I drink very very hot coffee (so that my mouth almost burns hahah😆). I don't know, I am so indecisive on the one hand I find the mug sizes so great on the Vertuo on the other hand the coffee is not so hot and not really good. How is the original series ? One good thing about the original line is that you can buy many many capsules for but they only make lungo and espresso and I think the crema is not really good or?
The Vertuo Plus is superior in build quality, design, and even the taste of the coffee, as it uses a higher temperature than Next and Pop. They really cheaped out on these newer machines.
@saskassh8212 there are othet brands for original line but vertuoline is still under patent so no, just nespresso and the retail starbucks by nesprssso VL ones
Thanks for sharing 🙂👍🏼 Noticed it’s called the Pop+ in the US and they listed the XL capsules as a cup size on that. Seems that machine is a little bigger though, so was wondering if the UK version would do the XL capsules. Thanks 😊
My experience with the Pop: Rattles from water container ( less if you leave the lid off) Drip tray more detachable than attachable - poor design. Lock/unlock markings look like a dirty smudge on some colours ( not black and not white). Some of the plastics are thin / brittle as you can see in the demonstration here ( around the used pod holder). Run your finger around the top edge of the machine and it can be quite rough in places. Otherwise makes a nice enough coffee and there’s a wide range of coffee types to choose from.
I hate ours. Old machine was a lot better. Coffee is not hot. It is noisy & everything is too diluted with water. Also, does not fit their own commuter mugs unless you by a platform to raise it up! I am returning it!
So much blah blah All I wanted to know was how to open the machine and load it..open it...secure coffee in holder prior to making ( which is exactly what I needed directions with Never explained how to.. Fortunately, I watched on replay several times and figured it out myself Some of us DO NOT CARE about color palettes btw
Hi 👋 We do have a simpler video on how to use the machine in case others need it, here’s the link ua-cam.com/video/QUjG62yCnAE/v-deo.html This was more of an in-depth review 😊 Thanks for the feedback though
About as much pretend espresso as the cheap low pressure screw top steam based espresso machines and the stovetop Moka makers. The coffee may be good but the crema is more whipped coffee than the extracted essential oils. It may be good coffee but it's only pretend espresso... Go with the original line Nespresso if you want espresso, Keurig if you want drip coffee and Tassimo is you want the barcode complexity. Then there's the Second Cup coffee chain that adopted centrifugal machine in it's desperate attempt to survive Starbuck's entry into Canada and of course fake espresso simply was not enough to defeat over roasted espresso. Even McDonalds coffee is better than these centrifugal coffees as they did invest a lot in automated barista machines and McDonalds coffee might even be argued as better than Charbucks...

Great to hear it’s getting lots of use ☕️😁
is it very noisy or is it just me? :/
Just turn the volume down geezer.
can I use with old capsules ? @@hughjanus2020
I Just bought a Vertuo Pop and Absolutely Love it, Love your videos too!!!
Glad you’re happy with the Pop and that you’re enjoying the videos too 🙂 Inspires us to keep creating ☕️👍🏼 Thanks
hey just wondering if you encounter any pods ejection issue?

Super informative and i appreciate all the sizes being shown. Thank you!
Thanks for the kind words and really glad the video helped 😊 More to come soon!
what is the difference of pop and pop+?
Picked this up in a glitch for £29 with 80 capsules last time like many others! Defo worth that hahaha
Yeah you can’t really go wrong at that price can you ☕️😁 Shame I missed that glitch, I’d have bought another 😅
My friend gave me this machine the coffee is lush but capsules are rediculase in price what is the coffee like in the original machines as those capsules are much cheaper thanks.
Hi 👋 We have some reviews of original capsules compared to Vertuo on the channel in case they help ☕️😁

Great tip 😊👍🏼

Interesting, I was amazed at what amount of froth it produced ❤
Yeah it’s very different to other coffee machines isn’t it. Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
do you have any recommendation for reuseable pod for this vertuo pop?
Soon as you mentioned you can only get the pods online , I was done
I won one of these at a golf tournament . I’ve had the old style (capsules) for about 15 years. - multiple machines . I been using Nepresso Vertuo for the last 2 years and loved it. They no longer make Alto size
I’ve seen people press the brew button twice for double espresso, do you have to do that for the double espresso pods or only push the pod once?
I have seen that as a sort of hack for the pop+ in the US to pour a double espresso from mug size capsules I think 🤔 If you’re using the standard double espresso capsules though then you only have to press it once 🙂☕️

Complexity is usually a bad decision...
You can use capsuls need buy Pod converter I have bought it but the coffee is shut nespresso are the best why because being Italian parents
Nice review 👍
Also worth checking out James Hoffmann's look at the vertuo line and how/why it works the way it does
Thanks 🙂 Yeah it’s a good video is that one 👍🏼
You can make your own coffee using a modified pod 👍and a small amount of foil
Yes you can! We actually reviewed a little kit on the channel we got off Amazon in the past which came with a bunch of sticky foil lids 🙂 Just in case anyone wants to watch that one too
I just got one and came here to see if mine was faulty, making thet noise. But no! Holy moly its loud
Yeah it’s not a quiet machine is it 😅
I ❤the noise it makes
Same here!! How am I going to make coffee at 6am without waking my neighbours 😂
Excellent review as always. 👍👍
Thanks guys 🙂👍 Much appreciated.

Have u found an alternative because I like really hot coffee as well
I think the coffee is much better in the Original line as well.

Excellent review! So glad I didn't buy this noisy machine! It sounds like a vacuum cleaner! I have the Creatista Plus.
Thanks 🙂👍🏼 Glad you found a machine you’re happy with and that you enjoyed the review ☕️
I have one question, can i use eny pods with NESSPRESO sigh or not?
@saskassh8212 there are othet brands for original line but vertuoline is still under patent so no, just nespresso and the retail starbucks by nesprssso VL ones
I’m thinking of buying one plus buy the reviews did that it is bad quality and keeps breaking down, what do you think?
Just bought one didnt realise you had to buy 50 pods at a time from the website ffs wouldnt have bothered lol
One way to wake the house up in the mornings 😆
😂
Why is it so loud??
Yes. It fits the new Altos, but not the old ones.
Thanks for sharing 🙂👍🏼 Noticed it’s called the Pop+ in the US and they listed the XL capsules as a cup size on that. Seems that machine is a little bigger though, so was wondering if the UK version would do the XL capsules. Thanks 😊
I was wondering if the UK pop could do XL capsules as it isn’t listed as so xXx
The uk one does the XL pods
Can it just dispense water?!
I found this is actually made by De longhi.
After a year, it becomes a heavy, never working countertop weight😡
My experience with the Pop:

Sounds like a Ford GT40 lol
Mad me jump the first time I used the machine lol the crunching sound when the lever closed and that sound haha
Electric screwdriver
@@snezanavl8580 is it super loud? i don't to scare my pets every time i want coffee, lol!
@@czest-d7fmy cats are fine with it. It doesn’t seem quite as noisy in person. It’s not quiet though 😂
These are a ridiculously expensive way to make a decent coffee at home
I got this for £60 on sale for my boyfriend-the milk frother is more expensive so it’s really good value plus nespresso machines are solid
Increible estafa!!!!!

too much talk.. please go directly to the subject!!
Exactly!!!
I disagree. Was very informative.
I disagree also, thought he explained just right!
Hahaha
It's not espresso, it's foamed coffee. Foam is not crema
its espresso if the person making it says its espresso. people can call it what they want.
Talk talk talk ……
Terrible noise. No thanks.
