Thanks for this video :) My husband and I want to move to Hawaii in 2-3 years, he's been there several times for work and we're going there on a trip in December to see if we're really sure about it. I've been leaning towards wanting to live on Maui, but he thinks O'Ahu might be better since it's more developed? I just feel like everyone has so many different opinions about which island is best, sounds like they all have things to offer for different people. We also have good friends that live in Kona, so I'm torn.

Which island is most welcoming to a mainlander?

obviously assuming the mainlander was respectful.

Is there any car rental company on Maui that might offer 3-6 month rentals at somewhat affordable rates? I don't want to ship my car if it makes more sense to rent. Thank you

There's already to many people living on the islands. Find somewhere else because it's causing the born and raised population, the landscape and sea life to suffer. I get it though, who wouldn't wanna live here? But I just wish that my home would be a little bit more sacred, the way I remember it growing up.

david kaye nothing ever is look at califorina, it was a ghost land in some places like San Diego. Now 1.2 million people live here. Its only going to get worse with more people. They want to live in beatiful places with nice weather. I miss the old Califorina I use to know to, but now it has 40 million people.
