- This is quite an unusual and somewhat special video. I see a European Hornbeam that appeared in my original Bonsai Masterclass book, it's a tree I haven't seen in many years. Its new owner brought it in.
I also meet some old friends and fans from various places.

A pot made sold by Peter returned back to Peter 50 years later has got to be the most touching moment here , bonsai is and brings so much more than what I thought
I stopped growing mame bonsai decades ago, but that little pot sat on my windows sill with the intention that one day I would return it to Peter. That day eventually came in 2023, and in 50 years, Peter has hardly changed. The previous time I visited Herons was just after he moved in when it was a collection of run down greenhouses. The reason I left it so long is that I like growing my bonsai from seed or cuttings!
