I have the most infamous one at my home park, but it’s still one of my all time favorites.

Well, Skyrush isn't a very good example of them
Alot of channels were underwhelmed by this ride...maybe even dissapointed.
So it s nice to see you enjoy it
I think it s all about how it warms up
The super simple black and dark grey design really makes it feel that much more blunt with it’s intensity.
Zadra and Hyperion is the best 1-2 punch in the world and its not even close.
Looks amazing! Energylandia is definitely one of my top bucket list parks. Zadra and Hyperion look like so much fun! (Also that ejector on the first drop looks so strong)
That first drop made me unable to breath for 3 seconds.. But it was FUN to say the least
They are the two best coasters I’ve ever ridden. (Topping Ride to Happiness, El Toro, kingda ka, FLY, Taron and every B&M hyper I’ve done). Still in two minds whether Hyperion or Zadra takes the biscuit. Zadra is more aggressive but Hyperion has amazing prolonged airtime moments, snappy wave turns and was incredibly smooth. I noticed no rattle whatsoever from both the front and back rows and mid train. I looked like an electrocuted mad scientist getting off the front row from the wind speed. Belly laughing is always a good sign that the coaster rocks!
I've seen someone saying that it's restraints are uncomfortable when it literally is the same as Taron haves
This thing always looked like a great ride. Great that you loved it. Looking forward to your onride reactions fof zadra, RTH, kondaa, untamed, and lech coaster!
The side shot on the drop, is such a smart camera angle. It shows the steepness and height of the drop relative to you and the background. Traditional POVs have always had a hard time conveying that aspect. Great work on innovating these POVs

It took me 3 rides on each to decide I liked Zadra slightly more but I love both of those coasters

This was my first roller coaster. Needless to say that ride was memorable and that's putting it mildly. I had to immediately head back for the queue to prove to myself that I got the nerve to ride it again.
Absolutely loved this one when I rode it 2 years ago. Though, riding on the inner-seats vs the outer-seats felt really different. Definitely felt more smooth on the inner-seats.

This thing really flew under my radar until now. It always looked like a solid ride, but hearing how this could beat Zadra makes me really want to experience it
yes it beats zadra, its really one step above, the G forces and the banked turn are insane and the speed it packs all long is just crazy

@@cloudsfracture The lineups aren't a lot of the time, but their physical space they have for their cue lines makes you walk two miles lol.

I'd say that the first three elements are incredible and one of the best sequences there is, but after the turnaround the ride is...just fast. Mini stengels are fun, but the speed and floater hill and overbank do nothing. Spaghetti bowl has good positives and airtime but the notorious rattle can be felt too. I find Zadra and Lech better.

Since i rode both Zadra and Hyperion multiple times, I can honestly say that Zadra wins the thing. It is just on another level, cannot compare Hyperion into it. Intamin mega coaster becomes flat after multiple rides despite some short moments. Still both of them gotta be top 50 in the world.

I wouldn't be surprised if Engerylandia ends up getting a giga that's exactly 100 meters. Which would make it taller than Fury 325.

In Poland we have coasters like no others 💪
What am I missing about Hyperion? Everyone raves about it and I just can't get on board. I rode it multiple times this year, front and back, and, while a good coaster, it's nowhere near my top 10. Everything past the dive loop turnaround fell very flat to me, some of the elements don't do anything, and it ran a bit rough. The second straight air hill especially is a complete dud. Notice how Sarah is filmly in her seat around 0:51.
Earlier this year I rode Kondaa, another Intamin megacoaster that combines out-and-back elements with a spaghetti bowl section, and it succeeded a lot better at what Hyperion tries to do on a bigger scale. On Kondaa, I got ejector all the way down on every hill, on every seat. Hyperion is bigger and faster but I wasn't impressed by it otherwise. What I ended up liking most about it where the whippy elements like the dive loop and the Stengel hills.
Totally agree with you, the two airtime hills after the dive loop does nothing and the ride is pretty rough
I'd agree, the first part is good but after that the roughness killed the enjoyment for me. Zadra, by contrast, was smooth throughout as well as being a more interesting layout,

Thinking of visiting Energylandia fairly soon, anyone have an idea what queue times are like? Can’t find much info anywhere
I was there in April and the longest queues we had were around 25 minutes for Hyperion because it only ran 1 train

The sustained airtime on the drop and the hill after is unbeaten. Just a shame you have to walk 10km in the queue no matter how short it is!
So how many inversions does this one have? I could see this being debatable if the answer is zero, one, or two.

I know the dive loop at 0:42 is technically the inversion, but there's definitely an argument that the element at 0:59 is a cutback

I actually enjoyed Hyperion better than Zadra. I think Zadra's elements are smoothed out a bit too much.
If it’s anything like Skyrush count me out. I hate ejector air time. A little bit ok, being thrown around like you’ll be thrown out. Nope I’ve retired. Some coasters for me are one and done 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 but knock yourself out looks really fun

While this is a great ride, the two dud hills in the middle and the rattle and the twister section really hold it back from being top tier. This being said, that first drop, camelback and diveloop are brilliant
