    I use a Steiner 440 on the back 80. It's a poor man's Ventrac, I guess. There are plenty of locations on our property where I spin the wheels. Usually going up hill on loose terrain. It doesn't matter if your wheels are on the ground if they don't have traction. I've considered adding chains to make those steep loose areas more accessible.

    When you build the 4560, put in bigger axles and wheels so no removing tires to use the Versa Loader
    Then make the hood and side panels one piece.
    :)

      And add a two pump system to contend with steiner’s

      Check out our new loader, it doesn't require duals to be removed! www.ventrac.com/products/attachments/km500 Thanks for the suggestion!

    Most traditional compact tractors have a pivoting front axle... How much does that help with ground pressure and keeping all the tires on the ground?

    I approve this video...no other tractor in earth compares to this beauty.
    And the ramp too.

    Does Ventrac have plans to include a forrestry mulcher attachment? Not the bush hog kind. I'm referring to the spinning drum kind. thanks!

    That’s like $200 worth of steel. And, probably close to 3 hours of labor and laser or plasma table time as well. I’m beginning to see why there are tons negative comments about cost.

    I know there must be a reason why the Tough Cut Deck Isn't a horizontal flail. I'd like to know why!

    • @ventrac
      @ventrac  2 роки тому

      The tough cut is rotary blades because it provides the best combination of performance, durability, and speed while NOT being astronomically expensive. Plus, we already have a separate attachment that is a Flail Mower :)

      @@ventrac I'm just talking about segmented blades like a bush hog deck has, but okay.

    Take a look at this video from TLC Homestead at 6:40 to about 6:49 min. The Ventrac appears to be hopping across the ground like it has a rigid frame. ua-cam.com/video/3yW0rg1sP_8/v-deo.html Can you please explain what we are seeing.

    • @keystoneraillink2110
      @keystoneraillink2110 2 роки тому +1

      The frame operates kinda like a 2 axis stabilizer. With there being a two point linkage at the articulation point of the tractor, it is in a sense rigid on the Y-axis. In that video, he’s operating a heavy attachment (power rake) on a slope. His frame is straightened out enough to where we see some counter balancing action that’s lifting both rear wheels before it can oscillate and get one of the wheels back on the ground. I’ve had the same experience on a Steiner 430 and ventrac 4131

      @@keystoneraillink2110 Thank you, I wasn't considering that it was rigid in the front-back direction (y-axis).

    • @lawncommander
      @lawncommander 2 роки тому +2

      the weight of the power rake is in the lifted position, going down hill like that it compounds the leverage and the rear half of the Ventrac is light, that's why Bradly Blue Cord when he's doing stuff he has the slip scope on the back for use and for ballast

    I know and Toro owns you guys i don't know how the quality of it is if there exmark are plenty around i might look into it because hustler turf mowers keep leaving it in the sun and rain.
