      Very interesting how the pendulum shift of home schooled kids being the weird social outcasts in the 90's to now in 2024, the home schooled kid is the most refreshing, rooted, pleasant person to be around.

    • @leviharrison4127
      @leviharrison4127 5 місяців тому +5

      @@WranglermanLevi for public perception it’s starting to shift for sure. However, there are a lot of terrible teachers that shouldn’t be homeschooling their kids too. These parents are just doing everything right and have the capacity to teach effectively. They’re the perfect example to look towards.

    • @WranglermanLevi
      @WranglermanLevi 5 місяців тому +1

      @@leviharrison4127 This is more of a political comment and the state of affairs in our country than anything. Of course the parents are critical to the quality of education a home schooled student would have. Just like the variable in quality of public education which does exist in the US today unfortunately. My own kids are in public school in a great state with wonderful teachers. I am just happy to see a great kid as a bi-product of homeschooling and not being indoctrinated by social media, government and woke ideologies so prevalent today. This kid is one good example, I can think of many others in my own community as well.

      @@John-uo1qf absolutely. any parents that say things to their kids like "be quiet when the adults are talking" is doing them a disservice. the is a direct correlation between the amount of words spoken to a child and their IQ growth and how well at communicating they are. its quite sad that too many parents these days hand their kids a tablet and ignore them. my friend and his wife are above average IQ people and their 10 year old kid without any mental issues can barely speak because she has been raised on a tablet playing mindless games or watching cartoons and is ignored. its quite sad.

      programs like "no child left behind" have been devastating. there are Seniors that have the academic scores of a 3rd grader but are able to graduate because graduations equal more money from govt.

    We need more kids like this! Homeschooling and not sending the kid to a public school was one of the best decisions the parents made. There was a time in America when many kids had his wisdom and can-do attitude. Now, the public schools have gotten the kids so twisted that most do not know if they are coming or going.

Our youth in this country could be so resilient if parents would pay attention to their kids and actually teach them something instead of letting the phone and television do all the work for you. Good on em, I hope him and his family succeed for many years to come, as well as any other family that puts time and effort into their kids schooling and home life.

    Dear sweet Jackson,
    Both careers are sleepless . Both careers have trade schools..
    Knowing both fields, I suggest you take your time and choose which one best fits the other stuff you are going to want to do and have in life.. daddies on the road trucking, don't see family much and are alone, a lot of the time when they are away.
    Farms do best when you know how to keep your seeds and plants growing and producing.
    Best of luck little man, you are a inspiration.
    Sincerely
    Lady Whitefeather; Elder Mother High priestess.

    He would fit right in with the early morning McDonald's crew of coffee drinking retired granddads.
