- What if we beat Terraria, but my coins = weapon damage! Thanks to the coin mayhem mod, we've been given completely new way of playing the game, were in order to increase our weapon power, we need to collect as much money as possible! Now early on at least, the struggle will be real, as with no funds in sight, our damage off the bat takes a huge hit, leaving us in a below avg early pre-hardmode state. So lets see just how far we can go with this, and see if we can dig ourselves out of this hole! Enjoy :)

The direction where wall of flesh spawns from is based on where you spawn it at, like for example if you spawn it on the east half of your world it will come from the east, and vice versa

bosses can also steal money, and they will despawn even after stealing the Money, so the eater of worlds just Stole it and then despawned.

Hey Scoktreez, if your wonder in what happened to your hard earned 64 gold. When the Eater of Worlds took your out, he just barely grabbed your gold and wiggled away with it. That darn beast he is.

yeah, it happens with any boss that kills you with a contact damage attack on Expert mode. Its very annoying when fighting Skeletron and both world evil bosses.

For anyone doing this challenge: as soon as you spawn in, run to the biggest pond you can find anywhere with a wood fishing rod, hopefully you also get a few cans of worms on the way, then start fishing, you want crates because they give potions, accessories, bait, and of course, money, then you're set for the entire playthrough

Idk why but for some reason skeletron prime was the easiest boss I fought my first time in hard mode, easier than Queen slime, the destroyer and the twins

I don't get the point in glitches, at that point just spawn the money in yourself
I don't think I've ever actually used planter boxes for WoF. Stone platforms (from stone bricks) are way better if you're like me and save up all of your stone prehardmode. They don't burn in lava, and in a large world, you'll usually have 2-3k stone stocked up by the time you get around to fighting WoF.

planter boxes are just easier to place. they're cheap too, so yes planter boxes are worth it.
@@chillfrosted2670 I play on console, so smart cursor + joystick places platforms just as easily as planter boxes. Plus, you can build them diagonally, and if you've found shimmer, you can just buy stone as you need it from the merchant via furnaces (plus free wood and torches).
All you have to do is sell anything and you can become the richest terrarian

I think what had happened with the coin gun is that the multiplier potentially werent working with it? Because, to my uninformed eyes, that looked like base coin gun with plat. ammo damage, maybe a little higher. Did you ever go back with a different weapon, like the flairon to see if the damage actually was capped?

You should try a run of mixed classes. I think Mage/Summoner is the most viable, but it likely has to be something/Summoner for the Old One's Army armors.

the dmg probably wasn't capped. the coin gun doesn't have a base damage, so it probably didn't get affected by the multiplier

coin gun isnt a weapon and doesnt gain damage multipliers, meaning no matter what you did to damage it wouldnt do more than its base damage
