      True, its actually surprising how many values one can "break" in blender and go beyond the physicaly acurate 😁😁😁 although i try to avoid doing it cause it usually looks good only in the scene you set it.

      Hi, this could be due to something simple and unrelated as having unflattering lighting. I'd suggest setting up the shader on a simple cylinder first, to get a feel for the settings. This is how I would do it - on a new material make sure you have the metalness set to 1, then play with the anisotropy and anisotropy rotation until you get the highlights to stretch along the height of the cylinder. Then continue with the bump mapping and roughness. after that you can try controlling the anisotropy rotation with the UV coordinates on another model like I showed in the video. If things aren't working out still, just send me a file with your progress on my email(its on my youtube page) and I'll have a look.
