Say goodby to your cares. Here’s the newest, and last, version of an American Classic ready and waiting to open the world of fun you thought existed in your fantasies alone. It’s the 2005 Thunderbird…A refinement of the most refined car. Town Car luxury and convenience write the last line of the exciting new Thunderbird story - a story that goes straight to your heart the minute you lay a hand on the wheel of this magic-filled car. So, go ahead…You have nothing to lose but your cares.
The 11th Generation Ford Thunderbird ran from 2001 to 2005 for the 2002-2005 model years and sat on the Ford DEW98 platform shared with the Jaguar S-Type and Lincoln LS. The car was designed to reminisce the first years, and arguably the best years of the Thunderbird from 1955-1957, causing the Thunderbird to come full circle as starting and ending as a 2-seat, removable hardtop convertible. Thunderbirds were built at the now-defunct Wixon Assembly Plant in Michigan, with our last-year 2005 Ford Thunderbird being produced in September of 2004.

Anyone know how to get to the rear speakers? Mine are not working right. I think it might be a wire needs hooked back up they used to work before a shop had to take things apart to get to the fuel pumps.

In my opinion, its the the front end styling that doomed this otherwise beautiful car. The 55-57 had "hooded" headlamps, as did all fords of this period. While the rear treatment looks good on this car, the front end does not. Heck, what do i know?
