Vovlo XC90 Safety

In 2000, the new Volvo XC90 was put through tough tests to insure that it delivered. Volvo reasoned that it could destroy its reputation for safety if it didn't do things differently.
They worked on passenger safety and ways to minimize the damage done to other vehicles in a collision.
Corners were rounded. The hood was constructed to reduce impact. And, the bumpers were designed to work with a smaller car's safety systems.
