Homosexuals are called to celibacy and not to unlawfulness. Church will be at their side in the struggles as if was in my struggles.
I am not Catholic and have never heard of Dr. Healy, but I deeply respect and concur with her message presented with warmth and clarity. We killed or castigated all the prophets, major and minor in the O.T. since we hate the truth. Thanks for your courage.

Meanwhile what wrong or mis handled actions or ideas are we expecting God to bless? The family we decide to put off? The money we decide to not share with a beggar? The time we decide to not spend in prayer? What are the bad companions in our lives besides a forbidden lover? Do we wrongly love a favorite sin, a hot temper, selfishness? We all had moments when we are spiritual idiots.

Spot on! People need to learn that it isn’t loving to embrace sinful behavior and that it actually takes real love to tell someone suffering from SSA the truth and to encourage them to live chastely if that is their inclination.
It’s easier to just say the trite “love is love” and to embrace sinful behavior under the guise of love. That’s not what we’re called to do, though.
TY Dr. Healy for your courage to speak the undiluted truth of the gospel of Christ for which He died. Except for a few Church Shepherds (who can be counted with one's fingers) no one on the pulpit has spoken in its defense to give glory to the Most High and Holy God. Word for word, they should just repeat what you said. No more, no less.

Dr.Mary Healy can you please give a talk on the reusing of the confessionals. We are all sinners & in this worldly, secular time many do not go to confession because of being ashamed & be seen & heard by others in close vicinity. One has to stop a priest to ask if he will hear our confessions & with the season of Lent several priest will be in the church proper to hear communal confession but there is no privacy.
I agree in my heart that THAT 😊 15:51 maybe good for ones pride but not At this time when many deny sinful doings are truly SIN.

The ferociousness of God”s love moves the sinner towards holiness if we accept His love. God never leaves the sinner in their sin, Jesus says, “neither do I condemn you sin NO more.” St. Paul says, “in the last days people will become lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” God is love but we no longer know what love is.
