They were huge on references. Some were more obvious than others. That one's actually pretty beat for beat, when it started happening and the sound went out, I was like "here it comes. There's gonna be a dude looking for his arm" and there it was, they didn't pull the punch on that reference and it made me giggle.

Yup. This was THE game of my late childhood. I think i was 9 when it came out and played it everyday for over a year, the multiplayer was very good it was class based shooter much like tf2

Dumb Fun Fact: At 14:30, the reason Rodent's voice sounded deeper than the N64's is because the scene was from a more beta-ish form of the N64. It was another squirrel that says the line before it was changed to Rodent's line, although I guess they forgot, and just tried to make it another squirrel's line due to the speech bubble instead of Rodent's despite Rodent's mouth moving.

From a technical standpoint, Live and Reloaded is amazing. It looks almost like an early-mid 360 game.
Amazing, I was 11 when I was given this for my birthday because I was a massive fan of Rare (Banjo, DK, Diddy kong racing). I tell ya, what a blast! I barely understood some of the movie references and the accents from such Nothern Towns in England are hilarious. The multiplayer was ahead of its time, I'm so happy to see so many fans in the comment section.

The 1st death scene really encapsulates why Live and Reloaded wasnt as well received. The designers thought he could fix something that wasnt broken.

I thought it was because of the censorship. Also because the game was basically a novelty on the N64. It's a charming game, but the gameplay isn't very deep, and it showed for what at the time was supposed to be a "next gen" game.

Yes! From what I can remember the multiplayer was actually pretty fun. For what it was, it was a great game. My only gripe with it back then was how underwhelming the final boss fight felt compared to the rest of the game.
