- I owned by personal plates for a few years and decided to keep this truck as my "keeper" so I wanted a front plate mount that didn't involve drilling. it just makes me sad when the baby is damaged and not by my hands

anyone use this in the center on a 2019? does it interfere with the Adaptive cruise control sensor at all if so? looking for a solution for front plate when running a hidden winch.
Didn't know some trucks didn't have the front license plates mounted in front mine did. That's California for you.
In So Cal some dealers will give an option not to drill and mount a plate holder. I was fortunate that it hadn't been delivered so I could stop that. We do have to lawfully install a front plate or risk getting a ticket.

anyone attempted to make a DIY version of this? To me, it looks like simple hardware/fasteners you can find at your local hardware store. For $90 flat, it's a little steep just for a license plate bracket.

Rubber band is only required during installation. After you tighten the mounting screws, they are no longer important. You can add spacers (washers) to push it further away from the grill/sloped bumper.
Where you buy that sr5 grill. Just got my quicksand 2019 taco. And your videos are awesome. Gives me ideas for my truck. I want to put these grill in mines instead of the trd pro
