this is a hard question to answer because yes … and no! i don’t actively make choices toward recovery multiple times a day and i definitely don’t think about my eating disorder daily… maybe not even weekly. i consider myself fully recovered. so i’m not actively still recovering 🥰 howeverrr i think even once you have recovered, your symptoms are in remission, and you do have to be conscious of your own triggers and warning signs. like right now i am in a period of uncertainty and unknowns which i know could be a big trigger for me, so i might be actively checking in with myself more often like thinking ‘am i being kind to myself?’ ‘am i treating myself like a friend?’ but i wouldn’t say i have to actively think about my food choices and restriction never crosses my mind 💗💗 i hope this answers 😅
