- Adventure Time is one of my favorite animated shows to this day. With the series soon to end I wanted to try my take on one of the show's tunes. Everything Stays was originally written and composed by Rebecca Sugar. It was the first thing she had written for the show before leaving to work on Steven Universe and is featured in the show by Marceline. Big thanks to my friend Sammie for singing for me on this one and I hope you all enjoy this arrangement. As always leave a comment on what you think and what you all want next. Peace!

It really is a pity that this hasn't gotten much attention. I haven't watched Adventure Time but this has become one of my favorite songs. As someone who has just moved across the country to a college where I know no one, I've really identified with this song. The almost childlike warmth of the melody contrasted with the epic orchestral sounds, it's lyrics that speak to the passage of time sung by an almost motherly voice. It's really helped me grapple with the end of my childhood and the need to leave my friends and family behind to embark on a new adventure.

I'm actually crying. This is so beautiful. I imagine a montage of Marceline, having fun with Princess Bubblegum, and Finn, and Jake, and Ice King, and Flame Princess, and it's super happy... but then... One at a time, they all fade away, leaving Marceline all alone again. As a vampire, she is immortal, so she has to watch as slowly, one by one, everyone she came to know and love disappears... but then PB grabs her shoulder, shaking her. Marceline snaps back to reality, as we realize it was all in her head. As a single tear rolls down her cheek, she pulls everyone in for a group hug.

Oh my. Oh my gods. You did such an amazing job with all the harmonizes and utalizations of each instrament. Honestly the last section to your piece would fit so well as the shows ender. It holds the feelings of the show, the wonder, the enchament and adventure, and would be a perfect send off to the characters that we've all grown to love.
Thank you for doing this piece man. It's perfect for what it represents.
I just *had* to revisit this video after crying over the finale.
Despite this being made prior to the finale, I feel like this fits the show incredibly well, and it gives me this weird emotional vibe that can be easily compared to the confusing happy/sad void I felt in my chest after acknowledging the fact that Adventure Time was truly over.
Nope. There's a small couple of "episodes" coming out in America (I think on HBO Max, meaning it'll probably have a little more "grown-up" feel to it while still being like the og) sometime soon. I'm crying tho cos I'm in the U.K.... BUT hopefully I'll be able to see it.
Ok ok so I legitimately cried while listening to this. Not only because Adventure Time is also one of my favorite shows ever, but words cannot describe how beautiful this rendition was. I thought that implementing the beginning of the intro was genius, but my favorite part of this orchestra is that you kept the tenderness of the voice that the song was originally meant to be, a heartfelt lullaby. So I'm really happy you kept that piece of the song into your piece
It's so hard to accept the fact that adventure time will be ending soon (the finale teaser has been aired already). Listening to this song helped me to reminisce the adventures of a human and his best friend. Thank you so much for creating such masterpiece mr/ms/mrs. Rush Garcia

This is just...so beautiful. I can't find the words for this ahhh. It brings a feeling of awe and calm and excitment and love for the world. I'm being transferred to a world of purity and warmth, serenity and joy, a place where hope shines on the world like the sun and even the night brings no fear with the cool breeze and stars and there's just reassurance that everything will be alright no matter how dire the situation at the moment is. Hmmm, I'm no longer making sense am I? Haha.

But on a darker note, the song vaguely describes that feeling of sadness and longing. The song could also be interpreted as to how loving someone who is going through a hard part of his/her life concerning that of mental diseases such as dementia or Alzheimer's.

Dangit I wish I could do a video for this.
I would have done this like Marcy and PB was holding a camera spying at Finn and Jake in the tree house. The cam zooms in on Finn and Jake messing around in and out of the tree house cleaning up some prank from PB/Marcy. Occasionally the camera turns to PB or Marcy laughing at Finn and Jake. Last minute Finn/Jake disappear for a while. The camera view suddenly crash on the ground as if it's dropped. Gets picked up by PB and turned around to reveal Finn/Jake wrestling with Marcy. They duke it out and end with a truce. Jake stretches his arms toward the camera to grab the camera in one arm and PB in the other and pulls her to the gang.
Then as Jake forces a group hug the video and music fades...... forever.

Holy crap that was good. I was going into this just expecting a cool little video where the song just sounds a bit different but oh my god was I wrong. It's so perfect. I got mad goosebumps throughout the song so that already shows how good it is. On top of that though, I almost cried. A song has never done that to me before so kudos to you. I love orchestral music myself so this is definitely going into the list of songs I will be listening to frequently.

This show just went so underrated when it got to the more exciting part.
Unfortunately I was one of those people who thought the show was lame, now it's nearly over and I will never have gotten to experience the magic along side it. Obviously I can rewatch episodes, but following Such an amazing show, I missed that chance

Been 2 years since the finale, the song still brings tears to my eyes.
No one really leaves, sure they may go away physically but the memories stay. The memories wait for your next return, the memories await you, they wait for you to remember just a subtle thing that will send you back to the past. A past that is filled with laughter with friends and family.
Have been binge watching Adventure Time recently and this beautiful song has been stuck in my head for a while.

Now..if only cartoon network could see what a true cartoon like this can do, the impact it can create..and the memories it leaves..like a rose that never truly dies, only grows more beautiful with time.

I used to watch this with my dad at the beginning we would sing along and fistbump. At the end this show brought my family closer together when it ended I wouldn't stop sobbing this show was like a family member to us. This show will hold dearly in my heart I wanted it to go on but like any other show it had to end. Im happy crying about the times and the fun memories but also sad that the show had to end. Fin, Jake, PB , Marceline, FP , ice king , BIMO , even Normal man I loved them all. Thank you for this song bringing these memories back your songs are beautiful. Thank You

I sang this to my kitten as he died. He was too young, didn’t get a chance to really live. His soul lives on in this song and every time I sing it, I’m that much closer to him.

It's amazing..purely beautiful it just calms and sues you.
