    I still do cold calling and have very successful results. It is how and what you say and what you do not say. Be real and authentic

      They don't say it, but they think it. Trust is vital in sales. And humans will always tend to gravitate towards the familiar.

    B2C sales...TEXT, TEXT, TEXT. People answer texts within 3 seconds. They will have TEXT conversations. But, they may never answer the phone, return a call, or respond to an email. Those a good ways for alternative outreaches, but I've found texting to work the best.

    How much time should you spend researching each lead? and What do you do if you are not sure who the decision maker is? I can't email an invite to the CEO if I need to speak to another dept.

  • @SideEffectsmusic

    Here's my thing. I have so many prospects in the queue. So many leads. And I'm thinking maybe I give them too much pressure. I don't make them feel comfortable saying no. I get appointments with them. They cancel. Or they agree to follow up calls and I put all this work and I did them a quote just so they can say that they're not interested but thank you.. And then most of them do not say not interested. They have me calling them every few days asking if they can meet up yet. This goes on for a couple months. I'm sick of it. All of these people acting like they are going to close. But they don't. So I will just call them and say hey are you still interested? Like literally that's my opening line. I give them a chance to say no. And still. They'll just say yes they are interested but they still need to get with their wife and figure out blah blah blah.
    Any advice? I mean maybe stay on it and these people will close eventually. Maybe give them a call twice a month instead of twice a week? Or do any of you have any advice for getting them to either buy or get out of my face? They really are wasting my time now because they all add up and I'm not getting other work done that I need to get done.

      I just move on. They dont see the value of the product and how it can improve their lives or business, and/or it isnt a real priority or just dont know how to say no

    Or when they reply not interested to the email, I say okay thank you. If you don't mind me asking, what was it exactly that was rubbing you the wrong way? Or, what was it about the information that you didn't see as a good fit for your company?

  • @SideEffectsmusic
    @SideEffectsmusic 5 років тому +1

    Do you have advice on this? I call and I tell him what I do and that I would like to meet with them next week to learn about their business and how I could help support them. They say no things they are happy where they are at and they are not interested. I say okay cool that makes sense, of course you weren't interested. I haven't given you anything to be interested in. What's your email address? I'll just send you some information that way.
    So then they give me their email address, probably just to get me off the phone. I shoot over some information in the email. Sometimes I get a reply automatically just saying no thank you. Or I call them to follow up and either they haven't seen the email yet, or the gatekeeper just says they are not interested. And it doesn't make sense because it seems like they really don't even know What we have to offer. does this follow up email sound like a good backup plan? Or should I just give up when they say they are not interested the first time? I don't want to waste time on people that are just going to waste my time

      Side Effects first you should already have his email and if you don’t, get it after the meeting is set. Second, “sending over info” never works, get the meeting while you got him with better responses and benefit statements.

    I have a question. I notice that you mention a lot about Linked in and B2B type prospecting. Do you have training for something Like Cemetery and Funeral Preneed selling? I have a great opportunity for people to pre plan to protect their family but so many say they are not interested. I know that is just a brush off but because I see how it affects families when someone doesn't pre plan I know they would be interested if I can get past that objection.
