Kids these days just starting out on guitar have no idea how lucky they are to have access to so much great gear at attainable prices.
Now if they'd just get off my lawn
Sooo true. This thing would have ruled the school in 1988.
@@imandan1966 Naw, I don't care if they stand on my lawn, I just wish that they'd mow it!
True. When I was 16, all I had was a DS-1
I’m glad this tech is out there for those that makes it convenient for them to plug in a play. As always; Shane, you’re a legend. Thanks for the demo.
Any multi effect unit with a looper and a drum machine is a winner in my opinion!!! Seriously this is a great little unit that is a great bridge between old school tones and modern technology!😎👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🎸🎸🎸
Nice one Shane thanks for your review. I like Flamma as a new company, the FX150 and FX200 are decent units now with touchscreen, good UI and great features especially when used with the software. I don’t think you can fault the overall tones of the effects, they all sound pretty nice and seem to represent the majority of effects types I would use, no doubt some will say the quality of the drives / high gain effects are no good compared to individual effect pedals, I wouldn’t expect them to be as good as you can pay a lot more for one boutique good quality pedal of one effect than you will for a multi effect pedal like this with 160 effects, drums, looper etc. if it’s what you want it’s all there for a fraction of the cost, all the FX you should really ever need, at a good low price and very good build quality.
I purchased a few years ago TGE Flamma FS02 Reverb pedal and FS03 Delay pedal, cost new at the time about £60each in the UK, they both are really nice sounding reverb & delay FX, good functionality for the price and I like that you are able to store upto 7 favourite effect types and it’s parameters in the the save slots in the pedal, so your fave Plate, Room, Hall etc very handy and a feature not many manufacturers include in their individual pedals.
Plus Flamma have their own pedal design and not just copying the generic pedal housing like so many others.
Flamma good quality, good design, nice tones and at good low pricing. Cherrs
Flamma really has some seriously good sounding stuff and priced great. Sounds great!
My son is a bass player and a friend he ocassionally gigs with has a Neural DSP Quad Cortex. Pricey, but amazing.
He can jump on a plane to Brisbane with his guitar and a backpack, plug into yhe front of house and he's done.
Love to see more of these types of videos.😊
Really good review! Thank you 🙏🏼
Love how the Flamma matches the Maybury.
Shane,,, This Tech just keeps getting more advanced and Abilities are Insane!! I could see so many Hours of trying Combo settings till I could no longer Read the Screen from my eyes 👀 would be to tired to even look at it and still don't know if I would even come close to possibilities and simplicity!! TY Shane 🦣🎸🤠
Hello Ryan just saying hi 👋 I always see you on Pete Thorn Sunday live!
I have owned the Flamma FA05 practice amp for over a year now. It's a really nice piece of kit with loads of options for practice. This one looks like a winner compared to the 200 you reviewed last year, Shane!
Awesome review Shane. Thnx!
Thanks mate!
It's FLAMMAING good Shane! \m/
Very cool multi efx. Great lil back up rig
I find your presence of faith, comforting!
Not my thing but i must say that this is a great device at a great price. You made a great video Shane, it's gonna be really helpful to anyone who buys this pedal.
If it offered external power for the effects loop it would be brilliant. Maybe just 3 x 9V. Nice review thank you.
Wow,thanks
Has a real Hotone look and feel
Hi, thank you for this tutorial. I just got the Flamma. Please tell me how to save the tube screamer in your video at 8:22 etc. or generally how to save the presets. I would very much appreciate it. Cheers, Mike
Preset overload! Lol interesting device, but I already got two other of these effect units so I’m good.
Can the presets be duplicated on the the machine ? Thanks for the great demo.
❤❤great
Hi, is the effects chain editable, like could i move the effects loop to the end of the chain? Thanks
I'm looking for an acoustic preamp/ effects unit for busking, would this be suitable do you think?
I would like to use it at home also for recording electric guitar and general mucking around.
hi, im planning to get this unit.. im just torn between the flamma fx150 or the Nux mg30. any advice??
This is incredibile for the price!
Does it have bass effects like fx stomp?
A lot of great tones. Will the black foot pedal act as a volume pedal or wah
Yes, you can set it to both modes in the menu.
Can the compressor be adjusted sustain etc ?
Where i can download a driver for my windows pc?
Hi Shane I love your channel and your videos have helped me in one way or another.. I am new to the multi pedal set ups and this may seem like a simple question to ask you but I have a Gamma 50 for an amp, and it does not have an effects loop can I plug this Flamma multi pedal unit directly in to my amp?
Thank you
Craig
Hi, Craig. Yes, it can be used directly into the front end of an amp. Most of my pedalboards go directly into the front end, and these are fine to use like that as well.
Oh cool… Thanks.. it’s funny on Amazon they have the Flamma FX150 but not the FX150B listed? Is there a huge price difference? The FX150 is $299.99? Thank you for answering me back… I follow all the big and cool channels and it rare that any of them answer so far it has been you and The Pedal show🤘🏻
Hi Shane sorry to bug you but I need your opinion if possible. I am torn between the Boss ME 90 or the TC Plethora X-3 or the Flamma FX 150B.. They all three are awesome multi pedals…. Thank you for your help😉
Craig
Hey Shane, I know you’ve reviewed this really well but do you personally own and use it? Thinking of buying one. 😎
Dear Man, how good is it as a virtual capo?
There must be some kind of cooperation with Nux as this unit has very much in common with the Nux MG 30
It does look pretty similar but the MG30 has a few extra small buttons on the right side. Its most likely a similar end result.
DELAY REVERB SPILL OVER!!! (Like FX200 I guess) & LITHIUM BATTERY!!! Take moi money... but I don't have it
I bought the Flamma fx150b. The amps arent bad or the effects. Does not sound as real as my line 6 pod go or as good of effects. I sent it back. The software is very klunky as well.
