That EL34 5150 got me seriously peanut butter & jealous tho.🤓🙃🤘
Just because it seems nobody realises this; the Flamma, Mooer GE (200 and above), Harley Benton DNA, Valeton, Donner arena; they ALL use the same software modelling. How is nobody calling this out? They have the same core feature set (when it comes to amp and cab modelling), mostly the same effects (noise gates, compressors, reverb algorithms, overdrives), the same amp models (maybe slightly renamed), same weird "we chucked some EQ curves in the Cab section and pretend it's power amp modelling" feature that you commented on around 8:05.
I wonder who the developer behind the software is; probably a Shenzhen based company that licenses their algorithm to different brands.
But yeah, this is a Mooer GE200 with a touchscreen :)
If it's cheaper and sounds good, then I want it.
Flamma processing is very good - I have a few of there pedals and they are very good sounding (boutique type) very budget friendly also - have seen a few demos of this product and everyone is impressed with the sounds - great demo Kyle as usual
Flamma makes some great pedals got their Reverb, Delay and PreAmp pedals and very happy with them. Been eyeing this multi effects unit cool Video Kyle 👍
Great video as usual. Kyle, that would be great if you have a comparison between Headrush, helix, and QC. Keep up the good work.
You have the best reviews of gear man
Great demo, sounds pretty good indeed.
Flamma have a pretty great reputation. Multi stuff has come so far. Crazy for the money.
Sounds really good !!!!
I’d like to see some comparisons with the Quad Cortex and Tonex Pedal pedal etc
Zenni optical has saved me a ton on glasses over the years. 😉
It's inexpensive like the Valeton GP-200, but it comes at a price: you can't load 3rd party amps or pedals. You can load 3rd party IRs tho. It's good that the "tube" selection option is in the IR for that reason.
I've got a $40 Flamma multi mod pedal which I like a lot with one exception: the mod speeds don't go slow enough for some of the things I'd like to do.
Sound great 👍
I'm going to guess that they may have put the tube emulation as part of the cab section in case you want to use an FX loop preamp pedal of some kind.
Great review, just a question I have that no one has answered so far, but does the fx200 let you pick any fx for the blocks available, say I want to run two drives and a compressor, will it allow that? Or will I be forced to use only 1 drive, 1 delay, 1 reverb, etc.
Out of my price range but it did sound pretty good.
Why everyone keep saying is not a kemper, fractal, headrush, cortex, and so on like duh still a nice device though I see Kyle using it it sound good to me
Its easier and more faithful to imprint the character of a tube in a IR file! To create an IR file you have to use a power amp and there's no such thing as a flat power amp. This way you're sure about what amp was used to rceate an IR. Makes a lot of sense to me.
It would be a cool video if you did a shoot out with the flamma vs the real amps.
sounds surprisingly good with the jcm800
I have a master effects supper400 pedal on its way soon for my bass
Do you think the flamma is better sounding than the donner arena?
Bro, you should demo the new headrush prime and the cloning feature.
can flamma fx200 recorded by phone through on the go usb feature ?
Hello from France Kyle, what is the best way to plug this flamma on the amp? FX loop? Thx
I love my Korg a2 - easy to switch from bank to presets and toggle individual effects ( blocks). I simply want to be able to easily switch banks and toggle delay, reverb, chorus, and use the distortion from my amps in stereo. my korg is perfect for this AND I can bypass the entire rack and just get that great dry tone from the amps. I want easy switching of banks, presets and toggle of effects with great sound and portability and almost bought a headrush gigboard, mx5, then found the donner, then the ampero mp-100 which I really love...i actually bought the stomp, sounds great...not practical for me to use live...so it's down to the ampero mp-100 vs (and happy I JUST stumbled on the FLAMMA this morning) so, sound wise - what sounds better to everyone - Flamma fx200 vs Ampero mp-100? thanks
Have you done a Multi FX video on the Quad Cortex yet?
Hey man, you should do a review on a Line 6 Pod Go review or like a Headrush MX-5. Would love to see that.
Trying to decide which one to get
@@SuperWhy555 Since I owned both, the MX5 if you like high gain stuff. It's alot more user friendly than the Pod Go. Add a headrush FRFR108 speaker and you have a whole amp setup ;)
@@synonyx so I’ve heard that people say the mx5 is better for metal before. Is it just better amp modeling for metal?
Now that you have a petal with at least a decent looper you can try it for fine tuning all the Amps. So some of the tone snobs will leave you alone. You can go past all the settings and say why you don't want it even when everyone else does!! Love you brother and have a blessed day!!!!
At first glance I thought this was a pink Mooer GE250. Is Flamma a spin off of Mooer? Seems like the same layout except Flamma has a touch screen. I would be curious of a direct comparison.
I believe flamma pedals are clones of Mooer pedals.
Did you get the chance to use it through the headphones by any chance? Always seems to be missed when these units are tested by 99% of demos.
I am just soooo simple minded that I have NEVER wanted one of these OR a pedal board. I've HAD pedals, but ONLY a distortion (MXR Distortion +/DOD Grunge/Dunlop Zakk Wylde are all I've ever had) and wah pedal. I like easy, plug n play. I've had old school Crates(GREAT built in reverb and chorus), Randalls and Marshall solid state and I've had EVERY tone I've ever wanted. The cleans, crisp and rich. The overdrive, gnarly and dynamic. The chorus, deep and wide. Then the pedal for boost and sustain. Only 3 cables max, no wrong buttons, fewer potential weak links, and cost effective replacement in event of accident or theft.
And your tech can help carry all the drummer's trinkets 😂😂😂😂
Sounds great really but too many options and not within my budget.. I just need 1 versatile aggressive killer tone in a pedal
Headrush Prime next??
Gotta try to get them to send one out, but I'm working on it!
Will it play Doom?
It'd be golden if it did snake 😂😂
i cannot hear any effects with that effects proccesor? it sounds very bad and usless to me.
theres no delay, chrous, phaser, or reverb. i dont like it, its useless for effects....i did not hear any effect. it doesnt look good, i will not buy that thing.
50 slots for loading your own IRs... well that just got a little more interesting....
Looks a LOT like a Mooer GE200
Seems like a nice unit for the price point. Honestly seems like they copied the Hotone Ampero though.
im not 100% on this, but i think they have the same parent company
@@datass666 That would definitely make sense. I thought the Ampero was great esp for the price, this looks like a cool unit.
@@jeremygifford38 I've used a few Flamma pedals, and they definitely punch above the price point...I am interested in this box but I already have the Nu-X MG-30 and only so much space😬
@@datass666 gotcha. I have a Quad Cortex now so o don’t plan on adding another modeler but certainly cool.
@@datass666How do you like the NUX MG-30? I have several of their pedals, they’re killing the game right now!
It sounds good. Just not sure about the color. Can you demo any of the boss multi fx stuff
I’m just not into those things. It didn’t knock me out.
Me too... No Kemper, fractal, etc here... But, IF there's ever a need for a fly rig like this, holy crap it sounds great
I wonder is it better or worse than Ampero or Pod Go??
$349 seams Abit steep for this I can get a pod go for that used
Headrush mx5 cheaper and better
Possibly better, but not cheaper. The limited edition on sale, is still $20 (USD) more.
MX5 is like $429 on Sweetwater
Use it without the tube amp. Then you really get to hear how shitty it sounds.
I did, for pretty much the entire video. Good eye for detail, though 👌
@@belligerentamateur every one of his 18 comments are just trolling.
@Josh Smith haaaaaaa lol.
Too pricey for a processor
A lot cheaper than a helix, kemper, axe fx or quad cortex. These are going for like $320 usd right now. That’s really affordable
It’s the mp3 of guitar gear. I’d rather have the real thing when it comes to gear
