the whole point of this is the slower tempo lennon wanted to rewrite the song as a slower ballad because that's what he had written it as they were told to speed it up to make it more commercial
Gary Fearon ....why is he.....I much prefer noel and liams vocals and songs to anything the Beatles have done....they are cooler and funnier and have more attitude and character than the Beatles....that's my opinion and lots of other people agree....but other people like the Beatles more....which is their choice because they are an ok band
OK? Oh well, I am usually of the opinion tht art should not be judged. John Lennon started with a bank piece of paper and came up with a great song. Noel Gallagher bought a book of Beatles songs, played this one with a slower tempo and adopted what is to my ears a whiny voice. Anybody can slow a song down...(just watch The Voice) and it is OK in the way many buskers on the streets of many towns are OK...but better? You are having a laugh mate.
Gary Fearon ...you will find all artist copied from older artists that went before them and also added their own style to it....the Beatles did it many times and in fact got in trouble a few times because quite a few of their songs sounded like songs that had already been done years earlier....and oasis do cover a few Beatles songs because they like them and the Beatles did the same with their hero's like singing chuck berry songs to name just one. I do like John Lennon musuc but I prefer by a long way noels music. If its so easy to do then you try and do what Noel does and have as many number 1 albums as he has had which us more than the Beatles by the way.
