The Gallaghers (and I am no huge fan of theirs) know how to do 60s British pop really well. I've heard them do My Generation and of course, The Walrus, and they were able to pull those songs without sounding karaoki-ish. Their version of The Walrus is, in my opinion, the only way to do that song live.

The understated vocals of Noel Gallagher hold up pretty well too. This group Gem does a great job supporting him. This was a solid competent version of the tune, and a pleasure to hear. Great job!

But if you want Britain's premier kareoke beatle then yeah it'll be one of the Gallaghers. Look I love their first two albums and some of their later singles. But don't take a song as ridiculously textured as Strawberry Fields and turn it into an basic acoustic number.
if you know anything about music , which its obvious you don't ,to take this tune and strip it down and cover it like in this video is very skilfuly done here , think about john sitting with an acoustic running through a simple chord sequence as it clearly is ,then george adds the tricky licks on .then macca on meletron then along comes george martin and adds chellos and double basses and orchestrates the whole lot in abbey road studios viola a masterpiece . but here is 3 fans of the beatles the who and the stones etc etc who are keeping this music alive , and for that i am grateful,, well done noel
