@@TM-hm8ep Well at this point he just does whatever amuses him. I heard that a lot of the songs from his first solo album were what the next Oasis album would have been, could be the same for chasing yesterday. For Who Built The Moon he only wrote in the studio, which is probably why that sounds so different compared to something like Chasing Yesterday. Noel’s said in an interview that his producer for Who Built The Moon encouraged him to only write in the studio, scrapping songs that even sounded somewhat Oasis if he wrote it outside of there. That’s from what I remember though, could be wrong. He still has good “pop” songs like Sail On, but nothing too rock n roll. It’s a good contrast to Liam’s music in my opinion.
Hold that thought, don't let me go We can dance beneath the fireflies on an empty road It's a shame how a memory fades to grey We let love get lost in anger, chasing yesterday Find me a place where the sun shines through the rain Find me the pleasure in the pain While the song remains the same, let it go on and on and on Take me back to the town where I was born 'Cause I'm tired of being a stranger and I'm miles from home We can hide by a lonely windowpane We can walk the streets of my life while they still remain Find me a place where the sun shines through the rain Find me the pleasure in the pain While the song remains the same let it go on and on and on Hold that thought don't let me go We can dance beneath the fireflies on an empty road
The lyrics to this song speak to me like no other song I've ever heard. 'Find me a place where the sun shines through the rain, find me the pleasure in the pain' simply incredible. Noel is and always will be my idol. When it comes to raw emotion nobody comes close to him
Very grateful for this acoustic version. What a song. So effortless as he delivers this vocal and carrying the rhythm guitar and not missing a note. He's not called the chief for nothing.
rory clynes I’m not into his new stuff either but I also understand that artists can’t stand still, I’m happy for him that he’s going in different directions. Hopefully he’ll do a full acoustic album someday
The greatest songwriter since two scousers in that 7 yr period. But no one can touch him when it comes to writing feelings and emotion and changing how you feel. Genius! 😎✌️.
When I listened to this track on the album I just thought it was ok. When he strips the song back to acoustic he turns this song into pure magic. You can’t beat it when it’s just Noel on acoustic guitar with Mikey in the background on piano

Being from Manchester means partly what we are both from. But his words touch things I cannot describe . The guys an absolute genius . My mum when she was alive said . Your ,l play that with Noel 1 day . Half the world away sure I wish x
Has this magician done a acoustic album yet If not I’m gonna have to From oasis ‘masterplan / i wana talk tonight To this song right here Wow ! Jst f’ckin wow It’s wot my broken heart & soul needs right now in this fkd up world 🙏
Lyrically, I think this will one day be looked back on as one of the greatest songs he's ever written. Pure poetry.
There's always a song of the Gallagher's that matches with a situation of life
So true bro
Yes definitely well said sir👍👍
It’s one of the reasons why Oasis stand out in the sea of Rock n Roll bands
I completely agree
Best comment I’ve heard for ages 👍👍
Nobody can touch this man when it comes to the acoustic. Pure raw and real. It’s proper street music to me
Kelly Jones.
Well, he has a lot shit songs.
It's my opinion oh him since the start👍
Definitely not street music mate!!! It’s Royal Albert Hall’s music I’d say!!!!!!!!!

One of the best songs ever written.
When he says "find me a place where the sun shines through the rain" is pure emotion
"We can hide by a lonely windowpane" or pain..its magic brothers

Find me the pleasure in pain is what gets me
Amazing, this needs to be played live more. Gives me the chills.
The most under appreciated Noel Gallagher tune
Up there with some of his greatest ever songs
how on earth hasn't he played this live on his tour ? one of the best tracks of his solo work...
@@habibhussain825 I know. This and You Know We Can't Go Back are my favorite songs. All good in that album though.
NG fan for over 25 years and, for me, this is the pinnacle.
Very grateful for this acoustic version. What a song. So effortless as he delivers this vocal and carrying the rhythm guitar and not missing a note.
He's not called the chief for nothing.
Absolutely brilliantly written song .....one of his best high flying birds imo
he has so many songs with so much meaning and thought in them which it feels like nobody knows about
I seriously can’t wait for the days when noel will start releasing more acoustic songs, it’s inevitable that he will go back to his usual formula
I really hope he does mate. It’s been tough listening to the decline in his songwriting. Without a doubt all the fault of David Holmes
rory clynes I’m not into his new stuff either but I also understand that artists can’t stand still, I’m happy for him that he’s going in different directions. Hopefully he’ll do a full acoustic album someday
@@xyzxyz997 This album wasn't a decline in songwriting. Have they released more that weren't as good?
This version brings me to tears. Just love it. One of my top 5 Noel songs.
Yep, love it too, beautiful

mother of god, what a gem...
This man is a hero
The raw emotion in Noel’s lyrics, music, and singing is unmatched. This song gives me the chills.
This sounds so much better than the album version.
touches my soul.. makes me cry.. thank you Noel. Love you.
Classic Noel, his voice draws you in every time....better than studio version..

He’s one of the last from a generation of when things were great! It’s all gone to hell in a hand cart now, Genius!
It goes without saying Noely G excels acoustically.
Spine tingling, featuring superb keys too.
Thank you for all the pleasure Noel XXX
Thank you Coxon Mullen.
this gave me goosebumps...it's just so emotional
Outstanding.
Can't get enough of this song, performance here is magic.
IMO Noel Gallagher & Jeff Tweedy are the best songwriters of my generation.
One of his best songs 👏
So so beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes.
I don’t know about anybody, but this song seems to run a picture in my mind, of Noel in a day, in the life...
So underappreciated this tune!
this song its a mantra to me , so much energy
Uma das letras mais lindas. Que coisa fantástica. Que obra-prima cara. 👏👏👏
Genius
Thanks for post this... It's my favorite song from Chasing Yesterday.
Best lyrics of his solo career, if Elliott Smith had written those the "experts" would be wetting themselves...hugely underrated
We can dance beneath the fireflies on an empty road ❤️
go on noel you absolute legend and that toser of a brother aint to bad either lol ❤ love it man
its made me go all shivery bros ❤
He has a priceless gift, keep up the great work 👍
He does it again
The day Noel collaborates with Weller and or Ashcroft will be a fine day in music history.

It's very Smiths. I adore it.
Better than anything they ever did
Agree
@@stevens5541 lol no
Sounds similar to his version of There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
Zenon Probably another rip off.
Noel is like wine, beter with the years.....
I don't want to dance to your music I want to cry

He is the best
Not heard this before. Really like it.

He should play this song more in live!
One of his best songs ever. Wow.

Reconforta escucharle a Noel en este momento jodido.
Una cerveza a este desesperanzado y buen hombre
He is in my opinion the uk's /our generations bob dylan.
De lo mejor que escuche el 2015
"Find me the pleasure in the pain"
Perfeita!!!
Decent tune this, wish he’d write more of these✌️
Oh shit, it sounds amazing
His best tune imo....
THE BEST
Reminds me of Elliott Smith...absolutely flawless
But NG’s better….
Sounds like 'Falling Down'
The chord progression is very similar
Totally awesome 😃
Il Bridge.... Incredibile
Would love to hear Morrissey do a cover of this
It is very smiths like when you think about it
Che dire... Genio
Noel just need a guitar and a mic. Genious!
Magnifico
When reality hits.. until that loss is felt.. Words will be diffo.
