You and Paul Harrell
Have the best gun channels on UA-cam.
So much great information and both are excellent shots
Keep em coming Buffalo!
Wow thanks so much. It's nice to be mentioned alongside a great channel like Paul's!
Nice, common sense (an increasingly uncommon commodity) advice. Thanks, Buff. God bless you and yours.
Thanks Bill! I appreciate the comments my friend!
I also wipe the inner threads with some solvent because they get pretty dirty.
They sure do! I should have mentioned that.
Great information Buffalo! Thank You!
You're welcome!
I really like your laid back and very informative videos.
I'm glad you enjoy them thanks!
A very happy Independence Day to you and yours Buffalo!
Sorry for the delayed response Larry but I hope you had a great 4th as well!
I'm going to try and find some of that solvent, I been struggling to get my tubes completely clean I've soaked in a lot of stuff never been able to get all the residue out. Thanks for the info !!
Someone asked for a link, I can't find it in stock at my usual online retailers. It's called CVA Advanced Sabot Shooter's Solvent. I'll have to find some more myself before I run out.
love the shirt !LOL! Im the same way when we make any video , just telling ppl how we do it. I just picked up 2 new tubes for my cheap chicom Stevens, it uses win choke tube, got full and extra full. BTW i just cleaned my bosses shotgun and choke tubes, there was so much plastic in the tubes I had to use solvent and a bronze brush on a drill to remove it !!!!!! I told him " you know that might blow your gun up " thanks for the video
That stuff can really pile up in there if not removed occasionally. I got this shirt because it cracks me up. I enjoy anything Sasquatch related. Don't know why...LOL
Good info Buffalo and thanks for the video.
Us ol Smoke Pole Vets have a lot of good products to keep from seizing parts and pieces and to keep em clean.
Sure do!
Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
:)
Nice vid Buffalo. Thanks
You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Thank You, Buffalo. I'm just getting into shotguns. That is shotguns for other than home defense. I'm mostly a pistol and an AR guy. I bought a Mossberg 930 Snowgoose, not knowing what I was getting. all I knew was that it had a large magazine capacity. It had a Modified Choke in it, and I didn't know if I could shoot the slugs that I already had through it. I discovered that I could, but it wouldn't be as accurate as it would be if I used an Improved choke. So I bought an Improved Choke. About this time, I began getting interested in chokes so I could be prepared for multiple uses beyond just self-defense. Then this stupid pandemic occurred. Now, I don't know what I'm preparing for. could be self-defense could be hunting. Let's just say that I'm very underprepared with ammo. Of course, when do we ever have enough ammo. I subscribed to your channel because you taught me so much in this video. Again, thanks
Back with the fancy shotguns again.
You know me and my fancy shotguns ;)
Why you wearing a shirt with a picture of my mother in law on it?
Happy 4th of July man. Thanks for the video as always, and take it easy. *:-)*
LOL! That's funny! Man I saw your comment on Paul Harrel's latest video, The Bob Ross of Guns! That was great! I thumbed it up!
HOW'S YOUR MOTHER IN LAW DOING IN 2021 NOW??!!😬😬🥴🥴
Good tips as I am going to pay more attention to the skirt part and inspect it a little more but I do grease my choke tubes too before installing em...Good vid sir....Happy 4th...Good stuff...

Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Buffalo's Outdoors I tried calling you back Thursday and this evening with no luck. Lol. I left you a voice mail.
Grease good idea... Also it's prob about that time to give the moss erg a good cleaning either way
Grease those nipples!
Oh btw,, how do u know if the choke has plstic fouling??? Is it gonna give off a colour? Or is it gonna be obvious to tell??? Or is there gonna be like streaks going along the choke against the light
thank you
CAN YOU TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT THAT PLASTIC SOLVANT IS CALLED OR SEND ME A LINK ALONG WITH THE NIPPLE GREASE PLEASE. WHO'S THE MANUFACTURER OF THAT SOLVANT?
Hi Buffalo, great video, could you tell me what camera (and microphone?) you are using? Your videos are really good quality.
Not a problem. I have different cameras I use but this video was recorded with my Sony FDR AX53 and the audio was recorded separetley on a Zoom H1 / Rode Smartlav+ combo.
Awesome, thanks for that.
It would be handy if there was a way to carry choke tubes and wrench on or in the shotgun stock.
It sure would.
Why would you buy an extended choke compared to a flush(shorter) with the same diameter?
Easier to change out. If you change your chokes a lot this can be a factor. No wrench needed for the extended chokes. Also there are claims that the longer parallel section and forcing cone in the longer tubes provide a smoother exit for the pellets but I have not done enough testing on my own to verify.
what brand choke tube fit in what brand/model shotguns? anyone know a good source?
Great information thanks
Can you send me the name of that solvent and/or a link to where I can get some :-)
Well I tried to look some up for you but it looks like it's sold out from my usual resources. It's called CVA Advanced Sabot Shooter's Solvent if you want to try to search for some. Sorry I couldn't find any. Looks like when I run out I might trouble getting more....IDK. Thanks for watching.
Buffalo's Outdoors Thank you for all the help, now that I have the name hopefully I can find it where I live. I hate that plastic fouling at the end of my barrel 😩
2:43 hahahahahha
LOL Got to get me some of that Grease! Now that's funny I don't care who you are.
NIPPLE GREASE! It's good stuff LOL ;)
