- For a long time, Ciudad de Mexico or Districto Federal has been overlooked and taken for granted as a destination for travelers. Beyond that, CDMX might be the perfect inexpensive base for digital nomads. Mexico City might be the most affordable major city in the Western Hemisphere.. I LOVE IT...
Man! You are in all the cities on my bucket list. Was in Havana, Cuba in June and your videos helped me with my time there. CDMX is next
I love to hear that my brother.... I'm glad I helped a little bit.... Big ups!
My favorite city in the Americas…need to go back. Some of the best museums, art galleries I’ve been to in my life. Great weather too, never gets too hot unlike most places in LATAM.
Facts..... Facts and MORE facts my brother!
@@KeenanLambert198 only thing they missing is the mamis 😅CDMX gets a low mark in that department
@@Nino_J …. Lmfao It’s all about perspective… I’m in Panama right now thinking over your points…. I would have to agree…. ABSOLUTELY…. But if one is around such unfortunate grade for a while…. One learns to like the BULL💩 🤣🤣🫡
Awesome video, just subbed, good bass voice for vids🙏💪
Thanks my friend! Welcome to the family!!! Tell your friends.... Your father and you uncle to pull up... LOL
Do Not Drink the water.. but do try the street Tacos. :)
EXCELLENT ADVICE!!!!! Pro Tips
I never considered Mexico City. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for watching Ken!!! ✊🏾🫡
EPIC. thanks.
Big ups my brother!!!
visit la merced market, near down town, the ladies cost 15 dollars for 15 minutes like tijuana... I LOVE IT
OH WOW!!!! That's crazy... Are you sure they are ladies?!? LMAO
@KeenanLambert198 good point compañero, if they are tall 5, 7" or more they are guys 🤣
Yes, to a video on Chinese Mexican food in Tijuana 🙂
Lets see this price into San Diego.... to cross the border on foot :-)
Bro. K., your trailer teaser has her hand on your shoulder. Papi, cuentanos mas !!! Saludos de Canada
Lmao!!!! That whole night MADe NOOo sense 🤣
Actually, if I decided to locate to Mexico, Mexico City would be the place.
The one downside to CDMX is the air pollution….. Other than that… CDMX is great!
@@KeenanLambert198 Isn't Mexico City at a higher elevation? A friend of mine went to Mexico City and got altitude sickness.
Lol!! If you’re from LA or NYC smog and exhaust infested streets then Mexico is like fresh air.
Yes bro 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Mexico City is definitely among my top 3 cosmopolitan North American cities along with NYC and Chicago. It’s easy & affordable to patronize the best high end restaurants/hotels, check out amazing museums and shop for peso priced designer items. The parks/waterparks/six flags are top notch and I’ve received nothing but love from Mexicans… in Mexico. Be sure to take a day trip to Teotihuacan and Tolantongo. Definitely looking forward to buying property in CDMX or Riviera Maya. Also don’t sleep on Guadalajara/Lake Chapala area, it’s like MC with more authentic culture. Gotta love the 20-30 dollar flights all over the country.
5 star information right here!
When you say be careful regarding street food, what you really mean is you have to get lucky?
I disagree about CDMX being a spot people skip over 0:48 It seems like all I’ve been hearing about in recent years is CDMX,Tulum,Merida, San Miguel de Allende. But CDMX is definitely on Americans radar. There’s a bunch of CNBC reports about it.
Thanks for your take on CDMX a bunch of travel UA-camrs have been going there and they haven’t talked about that aspect of seeing streetwalkers. I didn’t even know they had that. I’ve heard about it in DR but not CDMX.
Thanks for your take on this.... CNBC has some reports on it? I will go look for it... CDMX is a sleeping giant that needs to get more respect.... I saw Americans... But not at the clip I saw prior to Covid.... Lol much of those streetwalkers have the same equipment as us..... They eye'd me to death when I was walking from the Metro/Subway to Hotel Oxford the previous night lol......
@@KeenanLambert198 Bro search up Americans living in Mexico City CNBC there’s at least a good five to ten videos. They make it sound like the place is overrun with Americans at this point. But they also paint a completely different picture then the way you showed it. Very much a CNBC take on it for certain audiences. They never mention homelessness or any of that.
@@KeenanLambert198 WTF Ladyboys??!! Man. I'm already staring at enough Adam's apples to ensure I get what I want!! 😉😉😉
@@amiyrbarclift1640 Yeah.........there are so many gringos living/retiring in Mexico, though CDMX can be an ordeal. A friend of mine moved to Canada with her 3 daughters due to the fear of sexual assault and the slim chance of any investigation, let alone prosecution. The last straw was when her friends daughter got carjacked and sexually assaulted. BTW the old airport is a disaster. Poorly run, poor signage, untimely ........need me to go on ?
@@hockleyvalleycoffeeroaster4599 Thanks for telling. The way they make it sound is that CDMX and Mexico in general is the answer to all gringo problems. I’ve seen so much coming out about Mexico but it could also be the algorithm…
I love Mexico City almost moved there
Tell me! Why it almost had you??
@@KeenanLambert198 It came in as my number two choice to San Juan Puerto Rico after I retired. Buying property as a foreigner in Mexico is a bit tricky and titles can be dirty that mixed with the difficulties of getting residency under the age of 60 is a difficult where as an American I did not have those same issues in Puerto Rico
@@allones3078 excellent choice…. I love Puerto Rico… It has the much desired Caribbean air and food…. I might return for some vibes if I see a cheap flight out of JFK/EWR or PHL….
@@KeenanLambert198 Yeah Puerto Rico is a great place especially if you get out side the tourist areas.
@@allones3078 absolutely!!! The prices are far more reasonable and the people are sooooo friendly
Not to many people speak English. I like the city.
México City is lit af
LOL! My new co-worker is from Mexico City! Small world.
Extremely small world... What did they you about CDMX?
@@KeenanLambert198 Her boyfriend competes in rodeos. She migrated to Utah and now lives in Chicago. She periodically visits CDMX because she still has family there. I'll give it a month to let her settle in, and I'll ask for more info. On her first day, she did a little laugh when I said buen fin de semana (have a good weekend) to a co-worker. I don't know if it happened to you, but a good friend was visiting his daughter in CMDX. He had altitude sickness for a week. My co-worker mentioned being nauseous for a few days on her last visit to CDMX but felt better later that week.
She perked up about me thinking about retiring to Panama City and using that as a jump-off spot to visit Columbia and Brazil, along with trips to Mexico City. Speaking of Columbia, two friends of mine have traveled there in the last several months. One lives in California and discovered the language bars or clubs and met some dynamite women. Another friend is a digital nomad and just spent a month in Columbia. We're meeting next week so I can de-brief him on his stay. I might do a ten-day vacation, starting in Panama City, then Columbia for a few, and finishing in Mexico City for a couple of days before returning to the Windy City.
Bro DR has the best beer 🍺
Presidente hits NICEEEE
@KeenanLambert198 the best on with the freaks 😜
mucho comida!!
Loads of food!!!! 🔥🔥
You shower in that water? Should bring own shower filter. Pipes are probably trash along with poor water treatment.
That makes alot sense.. I didn't even know shower filters are a thing!
@@KeenanLambert198
The KD shower filter works good- may need an adapter if they got that plumbing you can't flush toilet paper into.
So Mexico city is pretty considered the nontouristic spot that does get colder than a other spots as well.
Chineese Mexican food is definitely a thang. Mexican people are wonderful and welcoming
With how close you are to Mex in PS.... I'm all the way jealous!!!! Sending blessings at you Ron!
@@KeenanLambert198 We love crossing into MX. Everyone makes us feel like familia. If you ever get in the region Barb and I would love to connect ☼
Where are you in the states?
New York and South Florida
Hello Brother

Bless up George!! ✊🏾🫡
Hold up, so travel within Mexico is relatively cheap?
Filthy cheap.... So cheap its laughable.... If I were a digital nomad, it would def be Mexico CIty for the low prices all around Mexico...

@@KeenanLambert198 bro. Don’t blow up the spot

Hi! I have watched many of your videos. I live her in Mexico City (Centro Histrioco). Let me know if you wish to link up. Check out Blaxicocina (Roma Sur) Soul Food Restaurant. If you decide to go I will meet there. How long you plan to stay? RJ…
Dang Rj!!!! I’ve already run off back to the states…. I filmed a little series in MEX and I am rolling it out slowly… Once I see a cheap flight heading back I will link you!
bruh...i little more research i watch a lot of travel vlogs especially mex city ..bruh you off on a lot of things..😮
Hey what’s up? Like what?
I mentioned inflation
Ethnic diversity
Culinary Differences
Americans not taking advantage of the city to the extent they could
Cultural opportunities
Markets/ Arts
Decline in Nightlife
Cheap flights around Mexico
Overcrowding at Benito Juarez
Origins of Chinese-Mexicans
Crime uptick
Friendliness to date foreigners
What was I wrong about?
@@KeenanLambert198 well first u playing some Cuban music talking about CDMX not a big deal but odd then no one ! is sleeping on CDMX it's full of people from around the world especially Canada and u.s. so much so that locals are complaining and the government is taking action so no the locals don't love gringos. also I've always noted how little homeless and pan handling there is for a city that size no tent cities or hundreds of drug addicts wandering the streets like the u.s. so u say you'll get sick eating the street food ? really? also I never drink tap water wether I'm here or in CDMX ask flint mich bout that .but I do shower in CDMX obviously get some water down never had any issues.
@@louie9759 The Cuban music is for creating the vibe…. I tested using Mexican music in the past and it’s caused a dip given the audience that watches my videos… Yes, CDMX is slept on within the passport travel communities…. A lot buzz on Colombia and DR but not CDMX….. CDMX has 9 Million people… Americans are looking for cheaper places to remote work from…. CDMX can host a hell of a lot more than us….
I love street food but I recognize the dangers of it… That’s it….
@@KeenanLambert198 My man, you do you. Peace...
