@@KeenanLambert198Litegua has bee running for over 60 years is the most reliable ground transportation to Puerto Barrios they used to make one stop for lunch way back in the day ! Thee are other buses running that way as well but not as reliable . Or if you rather fly instead! Amatique bay is the place to stay ( maybe be pricey but it is worth it and Hotel del Norte is the best is as good, this Hotel has been there for over 100 years, always book in advance)
Dollar use to be accepted as currency back in the days when the Quetzal used to be 1 to 1 with Dollar, slots machines were all over they run on American currency! Always be careful of you surroundings as any city in the world ! Enjoy the Caribbean foods if you get a chance. Tapado (Seafood dish) Rice & Beans, Pan de Coco etc. Enjoy
I'm from Chicago. I was told it's a african vibe there which I love. Expensive place? Food? Seafood?
In comparsion to Chicago prices... Everything is low cost in Puerto Barrios....... The food was low cost and damn good.
@KeenanLambert198 need your help bro. How do you get there leaving from the USA? No airports, etc.
@@justice4all997 I got you
So there’s actually two ways
Fly into Guatemala City and then take the morning flight to PBR Airport
Or
Fly into Guatemala City airport and take an Uber to Litegua bus terminal….
Litegua will take you on a shuttle to the bigger bus station on the outskirts of the city where the big… full size bus all the way to PBR will be…. It’s a grueling ride…. Enjoy it though
De que país eres carnal

I don't know why some people like you and this guy call Latinos "Spanish" XD (13:35), It's like I called to you (or the Jamaicans or the African Americans) "English", or its like called haitians "Frenchs", it really doesn't make any sense LOL XD.
I don’t call Latinos “Spanish” but I adjust based on the situation… I understand your argument and trust me I agree 100%. However, Maybe there is a reason he is saying it that way that we don’t understand
Actually Belize is close to Puerto Barrios than Guatemala City.
That is a fact. I might go - Livingston to Punta Gorda the next time I am around.
Abaya, ay anda en guate bos haha
You look Garifuna, so you’re good, that’s exactly why he said namule, Joel is my cousin
Hi Karla!!! Thank you so much! Tell Joel I said hello!!!! Next time I will take the Lancha to Livingston.
I'm always eating fried chicken and street food in Guate
One of the best street foods around…. For sure!
My black fren u looks caribbean like jamaica
That’s correct! 🇯🇲🇯🇲
Seems peaceful out there. The folks out there are laid-back. Normally in black-populated areas u gotta be careful because of its economic-deprivation
Everyone showed me sooo much love. Lol a little friendly stray dog tried to jack me for my food walking back to my hotel but that was it 😭
God you walk a lot
16 Km while shooting this video

@@KeenanLambert198 what are you serious why is that you can speak Spanish where did y'all learn to speak Spanish how is that possible
@@starhernandez44 oh! For me? Well I learned a little bit in school and in NYC there is a large Spanish speaking population so I try to practice anytime I can.
@@KeenanLambert198 oh that's crazy I am from Texas we managed to speak both languages sometimes at the same time English and Spanish
Where to begin...
The electrocution shower head. Yep. Been there, done that. A jolt every morning.
Fresh coconut milk with a straw. Was the straw paper or plastic?
YT is pushing ads thru your vids, so you must be doing something right.
Gotta find your Antigua post next.
Cheers.
Welcome back Walt! I think I recall you first commenting on the Costa Rica video… The straws were plastic and everything was a nice vibe…. This reminds me I need to go to Limon soon!
