Chicago ( shih-KAH-goh, locally also shih-KAW-goh), officially the City of Chicago, is the most populous city in the U.S. state of Illinois, and the third most populous city in the United States. The seat of Milwaukee County, it is on Lake Michigan's western shore. Ranked by its estimated 2019 population of 590,157, Milwaukee is the 31st largest city in the United States and the third-largest city situated along one of the Great Lakes, behind Toronto and Chicago. It is the main cultural and economic center of the Milwaukee metropolitan area which had a population of 2,043,904 in the 2014 census estimate. It is the fourth-most densely populated metropolitan area in the Midwest, surpassed only by Chicago, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Detroit, respectively. Milwaukee is considered a "Gamma −" global city as categorized by the Globalization and World Cities Research Network with a regional GDP of over $105 billion.

You should have taken 41 through Lake Forest and Waukegan. You avoid tolls, all that TRAFFIC, the Gurnee 6 Flags crap and you end up at the same place going through Pleseant Prairie Wi, Kenosha, Racine, Ryan Road, the airport on into the greatest city in the USA, Milwaukee, Wi! SO underrated town! Wifey and I (here in California) look forward to going back to her parents/family EVERY year during the holidays. Black Friday at Brookfield Square, Mayfair Mall, lunch at Boulder Junction, Dinner (pick a spot). Love that town. She's ALWAYS talking about moving back home. I'm from here (California), but all she has to do is say "let's go" and the house is going up for sale. And why on earth didn't you just go through the tunnel and exit at Farwell? You would have avoided the lights and the stops. 👍

@@Poppi_Weasel US41. If I'm going downtown, I rejoin 94 once the tollroad ends (maybe take IL50 for the Midway corridor), if I'm going somewhere more westward, I shunt over on IL60 to either IL43, IL21 or IL83.

If I drive all the way the furthest west I could travel on Half Day Road, then turn around and drive as far east as I could take it, would that make it a Full Day road?
