May I ask r u a UBER driver ? I've been all around that area you just did even as far south as Sauk Village where we lived in the 70's. But Burnham Calumet City and Lansing and especially Torrence av was our home for many miles. Thanks..bin fun too.

I miss January in Chicago. What I don’t miss is February and March.

I was in my early teens when we lived in the townhouses just off 159th and Paxton. River Oaks was a vibrant shopping center, and I saw many movies at the humongous River Oaks Theater.

Whew! That stretch of I-80 between Calumet Ave and the Bishop Ford is an accident magnet! Especially during inclement weather conditions. I once witnessed a multi-vehicle accident at the Calumet Ave exit during a snow storm. Happy New Year and stay safe!

I live in central Iowa and rn it’s sunny and 50 degeees no snow till dec 1

At 1:03:00. Top Nothch Burgers Some of the best burgers anywhere. Haven't been there in 50 years! Then, turning left at Evergreen Plaza, I worked there in 1983-84. Was teh manager of teh KFC there. Used to go to the movies, too. My Mom's Aunt worked at the Kresge dime store there in the 60's. There used to be a Prince Castle Ice Cream Hamburger place out front on Western south of where Mongtgomer Wards used to be.
