Just be aware that Ubisoft has no problem faking footage, even faking demos, and has never had consequences for it
Big if true!
this game is made by massive entertainment. look at their previous game, the avatar one. It looked amazing
Throwback to the E3 The Division 1 gameplay, no game has ever came close to it even now
just be aware that people have no problem complaing , making stuff up that the dev never said, pretending they playied the game when they have not and talking about stuff they dont have any idea about and never any consequences for it
@@peachpanzer519 both of you are right
0:52 While I agree that having 25 different blasters to choose from is a little much for this type of game, I definitely think there should be like 3 to 5 different blasters to choose from just for the sake of customization and play-styles. Sometimes it's fun to use stupid-powerful hand cannons, and sometimes it's fun to use high rate of fire guns instead. At the very least, I hope there's some form of "tuning" the blaster to make it lean towards one style or the other based on our preferences. It's such a basic form of customization that it would feel like a shortcoming for a game in this age to lack that.
It would be cool to be able to pick up weapons from dead enemies but once you run out of ammo you have to rid of the gun because you only have your pistol and ammunition for the pistol.
A Weapon store in some citys would be cool
One blaster is pretty stupid tbh. It feels very limiting.
the gameplay trailer from 9 months ago shows her picking up a blaster rifle and using it so there's at least one example of her being able to use a weapon other than her hand blaster
she also grabs and uses an E-11 in this trailer. so we can assume that info was false, thankfully
Ngl the commandroid with the trenchcoat goes hard
That's a BX commando droid
@@marco8414”that’s a BX Commando Droid”☝️🤓
Star Wars is an entire galaxy of stories and history, its not just about the Jedi vs Sith or rebels vs empire. It’s nice to finally play as a non-force sensitive character who just uses a blaster. A nice little break from the force in Star Wars could make the galaxy feel bigger if you ask me.
Don't get your hopes up. She might still end up being force sensitive but in like the "6th sense" kind of way. Disney has a habit of giving anyone the force.
@@DarkRavenWolf50 I’m okay with the 6th sense actually. In the Ahsoka series it was said that anyone can use the force as long as they practice hard enough, as long as she’s not the high M-Count Jedi type of force sensitive, I’m cool with it.
Lmao yes a large history indeed. That’s why they are still sticking to one single era still
@@reviewers183 honestly like...please can we get things that arent in the movies? The Empire era really isn't that grandios
@@reviewers183 dude it fuckin KILLS me that we keep getting stuck in like a thirty 30 year span of galactic history
This game feels like the Solo movie
Hopefully the writing is better than solo
@@SkepticalJediI watched that movie recents and it was pretty fun to watch not gonna lie
My favorite part is where they had an entire scene where Han and Lando were playing Sabbacc
Ngl solo was underrated
@SkepticalJedi Solo wasn’t that bad and Most of Star Wars is badly written anyway if we being honest
it looks nice but i still don't trust ubisoft not to load it with "time saver" and other bull grinned to pad their game out.
this si done by massive, who made the avatar game last year, which was generally recieved as a good game with amazing visuals but sorta repetitive gameplay
There seems to be quite a lot of lukewarm reactions to the game so far, but I think it looks pretty decent. I don’t think it’ll be as good gameplay wise as the Jedi games, but story wise, it looks really interesting. Getting caught up in an inter-crime-family skirmish is a pretty good hook.
Star wars + Ubisoft + female protag + the general skepticism surrounding the AAA space, the game looks like fun but it's got an uphill battle with perception in the UA-cam sphere. Just the times we're living in nowadays.
@@gman7497crazy how “female protag” is such a decisive point in the star wars fandom. it feels like we’ve regressed if we’re getting this upset about a protagonist that isn’t a man
@@gman7497 If we can try to maintain a mature and rational culture of skepticism, then maybe the projects we criticize can actually improve.
@aylinilya. considering how toxic the discourse has gotten on both sides, I feel like nothing will be settled unless there's 100% girl bosses or 100% dudebros in games. It's becoming absolutely uncompromising and enthusiasm for literally any media is suffering.
@mathewwright4129 I agree but not every game has to be 10/10 perfection either, alot of appeal is subjective. If it's a good time and is well optimized on release, that's a win in my book.
Remember, it's a Ubisoft game.
I'm worried about the level of Disney jokes during tense moments that might occur
Good lord I can't stand those jokes at the best of times. "THEY CAN FLY NOW???"
@@empire-classfirenationbatt2691 When she was talking to Jabba and was forced forward, her line of "Okay, we're skipping that" caused the Marvel PTSD to kick in and I immediately started to worry
Why would this have Disney jokes? It's not made by same people that are working at Disney (not to mention that Disney's creative influence in Star Wars is overstated anyway)
@@empire-classfirenationbatt2691 That was during a chase scene which wasn't trying to be tense to begin with.
@@kropianimation1774 Because everyone believes that people love the Disney jokes. Look at Forspoken made by SE, full of Disney level jokes
I don't understand how facial animation seems to be going backwards.
1.) Remember not to preorder, wait for reviews and launch impressions
2.) I hope this game isn't overly monetized, but I'd like to see some cool customization in the game; so far I don't think I've seen any customization for Kay available.
3.) If this game is successful, I hope they listen to fan feedback and pull a GTA V; adding a semi non-canon, online multiplayer, free roam mode with custom made player characters, preferably with lots of different species to choose from. (Rodians, Twileks, Duros, Pantorans, Mandalorians, maybe droids, etc would be great.) Some different speeders and ships to choose from or earn would be good too.
I want this game to succeed, but as Star Wars fans we usually get bad luck with games except for a few diamonds in the rough these days. 😅
Bugs and Bugs will happen and Fixes will take Months to do.. Yet you pay over 150$
Its Ubisoft. Do not get your hopes up
Having multiple blasters was a selling point for me personally. But ofc im cautiously optimistic of how gd the game will be at launch.
If they make the personal blaster have a lot of custom options as well as a good feel, it might be enough. I also think it feels cooler to have a unique weapon, like Han Solo's blaster (or Jango Fett's with the crazy sound). I've fired enough E-11 blaster rifles in different games to last me a lifetime. Give me a cool pistol instead.
Gonna have "poncho" level of skins. And stun mode, rapid/burst fire, ricochet shot, overcharge, etc..
..hopefully.
BTW gd is not good, gd is goddamn. Pendejo.
@@Antares2 Did you try Epic Fortnite's E-11? Bet you didn't YOU SAID "I've fired enough E-11 blaster rifles in different games to last me a lifetime. Give me a cool pistol instead." and I used the pistol so much in Survivor give me a fucking different gun for F sakes.
Don’t worry people who are on the fence this game will most likely be on steam winter sale for 90% off
Except it's not coming to Steam, but will be exclusive to Ubisoft's own store/launcher.
And honestly that alone is enough to make me not want to buy it.
@@mrmoth2487 even worse 😂
@@mrmoth2487 You're complaining about not having to use 2 clients to launch a single game. All ubisoft games require ubisoft connect to launch. even if bought on steam. So buying on steam just forces 2 clients. Ubisoft also runs deep ass sales on their games on their own client. So just wait a few months, and it will be like 50% off on ubisoft connect. Or go the G2A route and that guarantees Ubi doesn't see any of your money.
Feeling cautiously optimistic about this, todays trailer helped a lot.
In a drought of Star Wars games, this is definitely a sight for sore eyes.
I can't say I'm as optimistic, to me it looks like it's going to be a generic Far Cry-like game with a Star Wars coat of paint. It's hard to have any hope for any game with Ubisoft's name slapped on the box art. I hope I'm wrong.
@@marco8414 honestly, id take that over having only jedi games for so long
The Robocop game had one main weapon that you could modify a lot (the iconic "Auto 9" from the movies). Combined with great sound and general feel, I barely ever used the other weapons you could pick up. So as long as they can make the main blaster good, I don't see this as a negative.
Having just one blaster feels more like Star Wars. Now, if it was a bounty hunter game, then I would want to be able to upgrade and switch weapons.
I agree. I also think you'll be able to loot guns from enemies, but you'll still have your main blaster which hopefully will have some customization, both in function and cosmetic.
I personally dont mind having a set character we play as. But i think the main reason a lot of people do is because Ubisoft's actual competence at this aside, this is close to a lot of people's dream star wars game. It's close but not having a custom character puts it just off the mark. It's like if new vegas had microtransactions. Close to being exactly what they want but not quite there and that only makes it worse.
Correction, this looks snowdrop...
Ill see myself out
It is snowdrop but I'm confused? The avatar game that came out at the end of last year is also snowdrop and is one of the best looking games that's come out
@@zzsmooth this uses the same engine, what has you confused?
@@existentialselkath1264 you said you would see yourself out because of the engine
@@zzsmooth oh, its a common joke that means someone is self aware that what they just said was a bad joke. Imagine it's so bad I'd get kicked out for saying it so I'll just leave of my own accord instead.
Nothing to do with the actual game.
@@zzsmooth ...
Honestly looks MID… but hey… go for it
I think the mechanic for weapons will be that you can use other blasters but ammo will be limited. You see that in the first trailer.
Would make sense.
You just know Ubisoft is the king of under-delivering on their trailer promises. This game will be a 7/10 but the trailer is currently promising a 10/10, which Ubisoft is unable to make good on. I say this as an Ubisoft fan
Her blaster looks like a lightsaber with a pistol grip.
I don’t care if the game is actually good I want a trench coat commando droid mini figure
That beginning was so unexpected. When I looked away and then back, the video was so small, and I tried to expand it haha
I saw stuff that gave me hope, but it’s an open world game similar to shooters. Their quality has nosedive so massively over the years that their best offerings are subpar.
This is the only channel I watch the outro
Same 😂
Sorry you've got a cold eck, get well soon!
I had to rewatch the 10 minute gameplay trailer and now I am definitely feeling excited about this game. I won't preorder because I never preorder any games anymore, but I have high hopes for this one. Looks like a fun game with both sneaking, gunfights and even space combat.
Being part of the criminal underword taking advantage of the chaotic situation in the galaxy to make money seems like a very good premise. Reminds me of the premise of the "forces of corruption"-expansion for Empire At War back in the day. While I didn't like the "system corruption" system (at least when playing the other factions), I really liked playing the hidden criminal "third" faction in the struggle for the galaxy.
So they did it again? They have forgotten the shield generators on that ISD bridge tower...
This series is long gone but I’d love to see gozanti vs gr-75
this game is first season of rebels, mocking the empire
Season Pass kills any hype for buying this game
Respectfully, I think season passes are infinitely better than a live service battlepass for a game like this. I’ll happily pay 40€ extra to get significant story dlc rather than paying a few euro here and there for shitty cosmetics and next to no story dlc
Cry harder.
@@caleb_dume a season pass isn’t a dlc expansion, though
@@Iden_in_the_Rain true, it hasn’t been specifically specified. Although considering this is a Ubisoft game, I think it’s a pretty safe bet. The recent Assassins Creed’s and Avatar games get dlc in the form of story expansions.
Edit-
It actually has been specified. PlayStation store lists the season pass as containing:
- 1 additional mission at launch (likely pretty short in length)
- 2 story expansions after launch (likely to be a lot meatier than the previous mission)
- 1 cosmetic pack
@@Iden_in_the_Rain From what I read elsewhere, the season pass will include DLC and some other stuff, I forget the exact details though.
Anyone else notice the Star Destroyer at 4:33 is missing its deflector bulbs? Don't look destroyed either, just missing.
I miss the ancient technology older Star Wars games implemented called a character creator. Not sure how it was lost, but is sorely needed here.
Which ones specifically do you mean? The "best" one I can think of is SWTOR (which is quite basic, but works), but that is an MMORPG after all. Jedi Academy had some extremely basic customization by today's standards, while Outcast had nothing. Aside from that, I can't really remember any character creators in SW games.
I feel like its crazy for them to completely overlook how much people want a creator for such a "big game" i played swtor and created my character but it wasnt the same. I cant buy this i feel like ill spend my money for the wrong shit
@@rickytrapshogun For something as story-driven as this, it is difficult to make a lot of creation options. Everything from animations to clothing and equipment has to be specifically adjusted if you have a good character creation.
And that may end up like the absolute mess that is Starfield, for example. Sure, you can make your own character, but everything looks janky as hell.
The perfect game should have the perfect character creator, including alien races, body sliders and everything, but I don't think that is technically doable with a game like this.
Not all games are rpgs lmaooo it’s crazy how yall don’t complain about this until you gotta play as a woman.
Kotor?@@Antares2
Yea I'm all set.
Would love to create your own character and not just a one person view of the galaxy. We've seen the rebels side too often and I think making a game where you can explore the galaxy from anyone's shoes would be the best like a single player swtor
I think it looks very promising. I love the idea of being an outlaw on the outer rim instead of a jedi or something really important. Ofcourse, I assume the story will take you into all kinds of familiar settings and have you do some epic stuff, but at least you don't start out as someone important.
The new Robocop game did the one weapon brilliantly. While you can use enemy weapons, throughout the game you get many setting to your auto pistol. You can make it into an exploding magnum to full auto no refill death canon.
I will be happy to pick this game up...1-2 years from now when it is patched, has all the content and on sale for $10-15.
Normalize not simping for disney star wars.
I’m not a gamer, but this looks like a cool game.
When I see actual gameplay not cinematic gameplay, I’ll give it a chance.
there is game play out 1 for sure, maby 2
And they Run with the Best Hardware and Update for that Playthrough or PC
Pure speculation, but I think the blaster will be your only permanent weapon, as it is unrealistic for an outlaw to avoid the law with a rifle slung across your back, however, you will be able to upgrade skills for when you use found weapons, and like most games, you’ll know you’re entering a combat arena when you find a large arms rack with various guns for your own style outside of a door, or your buddy gives it to you in a cut scene, and for that last bit, Ubi will say something like “the game learns from how you play and reacts like a real partner would,” to mean “you’ll get the gun you use most often unless it doesn’t fit the arena.”
I just really really really want proper customisation
Damn that haircut gives me 80's vibe which is good
If anyone has already pre-ordered this crap i am sincerely sorry - i understand that this looks cool (meh) but you have to remember this is the same company that released an AAAA title and it still flopped due to its lack of content and predatory marketing practices e.g. microtransactions. Ya'll are hyped over a game that we've had a few minutes of gameplay of AND it already has a pre-order bonus ...
?
It will never change, all you can do is not give money to these companies if you have one bit of decency.
@@_MaZTeR_ people can preorder if they want and people can not preorder if they want, its up to them, and we all gamers here,we all jsut wanna play games, either like some or not but move on lol
@@peachpanzer519 Yeah and you're part of the problem if you keep pre-ordering $130 editions
Loving the pursuits into the prequel and og eras of star wars. Sure sequels need more fleshing out BUT who here would want that? (I'm being serious and curious with that btw please comment if you wanted more sequel era stuff to flesh out that era more)
I wouldn't mind
They keep adding unnecessary or straight up ruining aspects of the before Disney eras, so I'd prefer if they stick all their shitty writing in the sequel era.
I’ve genuinely come around to the first two sequels even though I thought I hated them when they came out, and I think there’s a lot that can be done with this era. It’s a shame rise of skywalker was so bad it’s got every other current Star Wars project trying to include something to justify palpatine being back. Clone wars made people like the prequel era back when the trilogy was hated, and if they do it right they can do it with the sequels too
my fav era is the empire era so im happy with games that take place during it, or the imperial left overs(after endor)era is ok with me as well
I hope the parkour aspect is there it will be cool and I just pre order this an can’t wait but mostly excited for ac codename red
Looks like it was developed for VR
You probably have to buy the $130 edition to unlock the full Sarlacc pit
1 weapon and season pass smells like we gotta stinker here
I really like how this game looks, but the elephant in the room is the visual design and animations of main character Kay Vess. I think it's ok to talk about this on this channel, because it seems like a great amount of time and effort went into making this game, and people want to see it succeed. It's just such a bland, 2D looking character that does no justice to the actor who voices her. And most importantly, you want a central main character to be iconic. Enough so to stand the test of time and still be in the hearts and minds of players years down the road when things like sequel games, books, live-action come to be. I think Ubi-Soft is getting the message and will try to fix it, but here's hoping!
This game looks awesome!
the monetization of this game is absolutely unhinged
Not expecting a great game from this that'll make me want to play it over and over again, just hoping for something fun
this guy is excited for a ubisoft game lol
I'm not in the market for a Star Wars game, However, this does look decent, the droid is a welcome addition, and I would be very surprised if the main blaster doesn’t do something fancy. The thing looks like a lightsaber with a handle.
does comment pausing work on alt accountts? I hope not
Hopefully they let us upgrade/change aspects of the weapon…or let us grab weapons besides E11’s
It looks like someone played Jedi Survivor and was stuck pointing at the screen shouting "write that down!"
Considering that Jedi Survivor sold extremely well, that isn't a bad thing.
@@Antares2 Considering that Jedi Survivor STILL has performance problems on most platforms, It has me worried.
@@thecactusman17 But, it's a completely different developer and publisher, so that has absolutely no effect on whether this gamewill perform well.
The superficial similarities don't extend into the technical stuff, like game engine and performance. Surely, you understand this, right?
Jedi Survivor is an UE4 game, while Star Wars Outlaws runs on Snowdrop. Completely different engine.
Again getting passed that 8 minute mark for that extra cash

It's cool until you look at the pricing and realize you'll need to fork over 110 bucks to get the whole game.
Have a safe move eck
4:33 a star destroyer without shield bulbs?
Yeah.....
Me and the pilots want another Squadrons game......
id love to see new xwing and tie fighter games
I just want a game in the clone wars style
i just wish we could choose our ship, or if we are stuck with one, make it a cool one, not just a box with 4 engines
Trailer looked like a Star Wars toybox all mixed up: Stealth, spaceshipcombat, openworld, speeder bike, reputation (repetitive quests), Jabba, imperials center piece (so they are not only the police), underworld, a pet that interacts with the environment, parkour/advanced movement.
A giant soup, looks fake AF
I'm curious to see it. It's Ubisoft so I imagine it will play pretty similar to Ghost Recon/Farcry with some Assassins Creed sprinkled in. Not a bad formula but hopefully they solve the issue with it getting really repetitive towards the end game. Or it could be completely different, who knows!
Welp i've just seen the prices of the different edition and it is enough for me. Day 1 dlc and season pas for 110 bucks. 70 for the base game.
Enough said, pass.
this title is clickbait
Y'all, please, it's Ubisoft, when is the last time they released a decent game?
The state of Disney's Star Wars already had me suspicious of this game, but I'm just now learning of Ubisoft's involvement. Know I'm flat out expecting it be bad.
looks ok
I’m choosing commando droid. Commando droids are just the wish ig 11s i swear
Hmmm yeah, but never again preorder...
The game could also utilize the Unreal engine ohhhh.
Let me guess… she’s going to be force sensitive
I never trusted Ubisoft, but massive entertainment to me is solid so far.
Is this canon?
$100 Ubisoft makes a dud. It already looks like it’ll be bad
Nah, looks pretty real to me.
Why wouldn't you want free running in the game?
Is it so much to ask for a star wars game with a alien main character? Every game is just a damm human theres so many species in the galaxy that would be cool to see, Trandoshan, Zabrack, Rodian, and many more
my expectations are on the floor
There's gonna be a Season Pass... don't know how I feel about that.
its for any upcoming expansions for game that are devoloped after launch

He did that years ago
Only the one blaster... I will cry myself too sleep over this disappointment.
So much possibilities in the Galaxy far far away...
Why good is it to be in the underworld if u cannot buy all kinds of rare and highly advanced weapons.
Finally a game where we are not limited to lightsabers and the force....
and then they go the least ambitious road possible...one blaster....🤦🤦😭😭😭
umm its a trialer , why assume only one blaster ? lol
@@peachpanzer519 they said so earlier. Unless they hopefully change their mind ( kinda late now) this will be a giant wasted opportunity, could have so much depth and replayability with a huge arsenal and a lot of different utility/functionality.
Idk apparently Lucas film doesnt want me to play this game 😂 I hear it’s not made for me
So go away and stop bitching about it already.
Not paying to play a game with devs that hate their customers. If you want to pay to be abused over and over, hey...you do you i guess.
An Assassin’s Creed total conversion seems rather plausible.
Honestly, I just want them to take the old Kotor engine and add more content. Don’t need the fanciest schmanciest stuff, the game is playable on phone, and is fun on its own. All they really need to do is take the kotor 2 engine that already exists, polish it slightly (hell the polish is even optional) and add more content. Maybe kotor 3 can be the great Mandalorian war, from the perspective of Bao Dur.
