Be careful with heavy things around a kitten. We used a heavy table leaf to block and entrance and the kitties tried to jump over one way and it fell. I will spare details but it was traumatic and I was 8. So just be safe with things like that, that could fall over on her

Hey Lauren! Your room will look more homey and less like a dorm if you put your bed in the middle of the room instead of the corner and put another nightstand on the other side. It may feel like you are sacrificing space but it will look night and day better and more grown up. Give it a try! Love your place ❤️
