Hi Chris, very cool. Thats an update to Version 2.0 of your old Setup with Volca and Electribe music from 2 years ago. Mpc is a really good replacement for the electribe. Really nice setup. I like the sound of the tb-3 a lot. Thank you for the „how to“.
Hi. Many thanks. Yes I loved my Korg Electribe, but needed more flexibility which the Akai Live did beautifully. I loved my volcas also , but I wanted synths that were a little more flexible. Hope you are doing well 😊
Subbing, great jam! I recently got an MPC one and my first synth after deciding to get away from the DAW. I haven't looked through your videos yet, but I'd love to see how you go from something like this dawless jam to a finished song with the MPC one. I'm still figuring out things like sequence lengths, etc and I'd love to see what others are doing.
Bro, what synth did you get? I've just got my mpc one and I'm looking to snag my first synth. Thinking about the Monologue, Mavis or Microbrute. Any advice? Cheers mate
@@unregisturd hey boss, I'm still new, so take with a grain of salt, but I ended up getting a hydrasynth explorer and would recommend very highly :) Also, if you like Arturia, may be worth checking out the new MiniFreak. Edit: may also be worth checking out the behringer neutron if you're looking at semimodular. Also, have fun and good luck!
I would add, if you're doing five things with your two hands, you should write sequences in c or b flat so you can play improvised filler without thinking or looking.
Ooh good question. Lots of great dawless jammers have basic preprepared sequences and then jam those sequences a 100 different ways. But true dawless is making it up on the fly. So the jam in this video was 50-50. I made the music up on the spot but used the sequencer to hold it all together. But my favourite jams are those that are 100 % made up on the fly using only the machines with their little sequencers.😀

But mpc is a step nearer to an DAW. 😂 but with some great pads and knobs, ….

Woa really cool Soundz here! Beatz and greetz and a SUB from another Dawless ingenieur from Germany! 🇩🇪😎👌
Very nice! Wich FX device did you use for the TB3? Or is it the original FX from the TB3?
love your energy, super inspiring :)
Aaaand that's what I'm going to do today!! Good stuff man 😎👍

agreed
That was really to the point! Thanks!
Nice to see folks jamming. Do you reckon prepared sequences arranged on the fly counts as Dawless jamming?
