Hello? Honda? Hey PUT A SPARE ON THE HYBRID 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Ikr my main question is WHY
The battery is using the room.
No room!
They put the battery where the tire used to be @@GT5-Gaming195
This SUV needs LED fog lights to look much better.
Decent looking car but I have always been a Toyota guy. Great Review and hope you break 40K subscribers soon!
I was going to test drive the highlander, but a sale rep was like "yea... there is a recall so we can only do the Rav4"
I hope Toyota gets their engine problems resolved with the twin turbo V6 in the Tundra since 2022 because their reputation is suffering now
Me too. But this car's awesome exterior looks and interior feel.. We just need everything else Comma power train toyota
❤Great information. We were going to buy the HONDA CRV SPORT L HYBRID so you showing us the car was perfect timing. Thank you.
Great review Kenny! That fuel economy is really amazing for a decent sized SUV. For me you can't go wrong with Honda and they have really done a great job evolving the CRV. Congrats on 39k and hoping that you are doing great!
Just bought one two weeks ago in radiant red metallic. Beautiful car, very premium.
I'm an old chrome guy and don't like black wheels/trim!
I got a quote for $38,800 silver color today 2025 sports l AWD..
They need the a
Spare tire
I would choose it with normal N/A engine without hybrid. Great review. Greetings
Uggh why Honda! Do u make half the drivers display half analog and half digital! Also come on no 360 camera? It’s a way better safety feature than crappy lane keep assist.
New subscriber. Great video
Very informative
A lot I like about the CRV
New styling. .dual cargo lamps
things I dont like
They dont offer (Honda vs Acura) dont offer electric folding outside mirrors
They regressed wirh this model converting back to incandescent rear turn signal lamp
Dont like incandescent fliip down mirror lights
Dont like the SPORT doesn't have real dual exhaust. Only right side
Other models do offer real dual exhausts.
No fog lamps offered
What is the point of the 360 view system on a non-off roading SUV? I can't think of anytime I would get in my car and pull up the camera to look around. I'd rather just turn my head and use my eyeballs.
Bought this car in europe, costs bit more highest trim but has more stuff like full panoramic roof, vented seats first row, full digital display, remote engine activation (around 3-4 miles range), AWD and hybrid.
Regarding fog lights not needed. Total 6 lights in front its enough for any fog. Also if they added fog lights then the front would be too much cluttered and would need redesign. I like the sleek front with lights. Only thing i hope they figure out how to make tail lights ALL led including turn signals but its not deal breaker. Regarding ride comfort, there is no match from other compact SUV's in that price list. In europe with a lot extras and highest trim its round 50-52k EUR but better equipped Tiguan or Volvo XC60 costs way more than that.
Toyota Rav4 is ugly sadly latest gen and feel too cheap inside.
I would definitely have a hybrid over an ev.
This is a nice review Kenny!!! I have the CR-V Sport L Hybrid AWD in urban gray color. Honestly, it is a great vehicle. good handling, great gas mileage, comfy, spacious, reliable, durable. I am very happy with my CR-V
Does it have enough power??
@@Gopinathk17 The factory numbers for the Hybrid version are 2.0L with 204 hp and 247 lbs of torque. Mine is AWD as well and I feel the power to be pretty decent overall.
I bought the touring because I needed the power lift gate with foot
Got one yesterday, the pedestrian safety noise when on reverse its driving me insane.

When I did research on the keyless access there is an option for keyless option for rear doors. Misinformation there. which is A ok.
It lost me with no spare tire. I would rather have it on the back end like the vehicles in the 90s than to not have one at all. Its such a shame that such a nice vehicle excludes this 😢 Great review on this though. I appreciate your attention to detail on this!
Been driving Hondas in the Rockies since the mid 1980’s, never had a need for a spare
Have u reviewed an HRV?
Excellent job Kenny.
A lodge brother bought a new 1 in 2023 likes everything but lack of power. Thumbs up review. Peace bro.
How much guys did you pay for it cause dealers tried to rip me off 52 thousand. I walked away .
My local dealership has these for 39k.
Awesome review

Nice, but no spare tire
Can get a spare tire set up for a few hundred bucks and throw in the back cargo area.
What about spare tires?
Honda still doing HALF screen for speedometer..... how disappointing
Nicely comprehensive thank you
Love your review!

We just bought this car and this was very helpful! Much appreciated. Great information.
What's the MSRP
I like it.. But I feel it should have bigger rims
Believe the top trim touring hybrid has 19” vs 18”.
Too bad the charging pad does really work
thanks!
The 1st generation Ridgelines were built to last. I've seen many Ridgelines with 300k miles and they were listed for sale.
I’m waiting for 2025 Honda Passport, I need the living large cargo spaces. The new redesigned 2025 Toyota 4Runner looks great so possibility. My current car is CRV. Nice and detailed review! Way to go!!
Thanks, bro, hold to set height for rear liftgate.
👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥊🥊🥊🥊😃
Thank you for saying 87 octane is good. I think some of the materials say 91.
Great video. Very Helpful. Now I am confused between the Sport L and the Touring. Since you speak so highly of this one haha.
Navigation and handless backtail gate I think
@@miragexl007 And also a heated steering wheel.
And bose sound system
Does touring has heated seats in back ?
you cam get ihave seen it on several
you will like much one the best cars out there
Terrific job & I buy this new hybrid SUV 1 day.
Thorough as thorough can get. 😃 ❤
Favourite car for thieves
Why?? Easy to crack?
I think they prefer Kias and Hyundais.
Maria River
19 inch wheels for ST
I like your videos bro. Keep going
excellent detailed review. great video 👍 thanks
Wait, Did I heard you correctly ? If there is nothing new in the 2025 model should I opt for the 24 model? Maybe that will save more money...
Yes get the 2023 non hybrid. Or even better get the Rav4.
@@bashfullJ88. The rav is super noisy
@@Mrtellitlikeitis I was just on another web reviewer site, they did a decibel test for the noise which concluded the CRV Hybrid was one of the noisiest in it's class.
Very thorough! Thanks!
2025 ?
This vs model y?
Model Y is much quicker, but the interior is kinda weird
Very good!
It’s 40 k why not get the tournament ng w Bose n AWD ? For 1200 more
How does a car come without a spare tire? What if you have a flat? You’re done for.
Put a hold on urban pearl gray color but concerned that there is no spare tire any insight on that
I bought one a few weeks ago. I ordered a Modern Spare tire for mine. haven't had to use it or try it though yet.
@@prince87x Where did you put the spare tire?
If I am reading what people are commenting properly, models other than the hybrid have spares, the batteries for the hybrid replace the space taken by the spare. I'm saddened by that because the mileage for the hybrid is the best I have found. Given the distances between destinations where I live, mileage is a plus, but the lack of a spare is a great big negative. Also for it's class the port hole size sun roof is a major disappointment and given it doesn't even open all the way becomes a big detractor compared to other vehicles moon roofs.
Does the battery in the back get hot? I'm asking because I sleep in the back of my car a lot.
Uhh why lmao
@@Nick-ws3vv road trips
Then buy tesla
Spare tire???
Nice video BUT compared to the Sportage, there are just too many things missing on the Sport L.
Tra[ded in a 2009 crv ex… and got a this car, truly wanted the touring but was impatient and settled. But it’s a thousand times better than the old girl w/ 155,000 miles on it came with a navigation system. I got the metallic meteorite black I think that’s the color. And I love this vehicle. Maybe should have got that weird matte gray. But fucking love this ride.
for 2k more I can get the 2025 Lexus NX
The big difference between sport L and sport touring is that the sport touring has the upgraded bose Soundsystem. That's a huge difference .
the bose system is nice
Hairy and handsome ❤ lol
As soon as they get rid of the intenional annoying humming sound.
That is the electric motor....all hybrids have that sound.
@@JRTrilling Are you sure? I believe that is a noise being injected to let people around the car know. There is a special speaker for it in the engine bay.
basically the gas you save in 8 yrs would be for battery replacement😂
What abt the drive experience u get from the hybrid😂
Battery replacement is ur gas prices but you will get better drive experience from the hybrid car is still better than gas car
How often does the battery have to be replaced? Insurance company just considered my 2009 Camry Hybrid a total loss after I was rear ended. It still drove beautifully, however, and the battery was still going strong. 15 year old vehicle.
I am so confused between buying a Toyota RAV 4 hybrid and Honda CRV Sport Touring hybrid. I live in canada and riding comfort and reliability is my first preference. Which one would you guys prefer ?
Definitely the CRV Sport Touring… the RAV 4 hybrid suspension is so sensitive and makes for a bumpy ride as opposed to a much more polished ride quality on the CRV. Not to mention the overall interior quality of the CRV is more desirable and plush compared to RAV4. Also, I’ve test driven both and personally speaking the snow driving mode in the CRV works better for me and the vehicle seems to hug the road better and have better traction.
@@sabarinair123 Thank you!
Watch an engineers review of both: CRV wins
Like yourself I'm in Canada, my friend who until recently was a life long lease car broker advocates the CRV Hybrid over the RAV4. In most part because it's newer tech and the RAV is a (proven but dated model) which is showing it's age even though popular. The Hybrid mileage is hard to beat and very appealing. I personally don't like the port hole size sun roof which other reviewers say doesn't open all the way and compared to moon roofs of other vehicles can make or break choice. Also the absence of a spare on the Hybrid given the distances in Canadian location, though people can opt to carry one by choice in the rear cargo area. I also compared the VW Tiguan and the CRV and would still choose the CRV. Though I understand interior noise is indicated a high DB in it's class. I also read reviewers say the rear view camera is grainy resolution.
@@takata98 thanks buddy!
Just picked one up in Radiant Red. Lease with 67% residual on 10.000 mile per year lease. (66% residual on 15,000 miles per year). NEVER open the hatch under the rear floor (where battery is located). For mechanics only. You can easily break the fasteners.
By increasing regenerative braking with the paddle shifters you are maximizing your gas mileage. Its a "game" to use as much regeneration as possible to save gas. (Of course engaging the regenerative braking slows you down abruptly and may perturb the driver behind you.
Don't sell satellite navigation short. When you are in area with low or no cell tower coverage, satellite navigation still works (if this model had it - which it doesn't)
The remote start is NOT INCLUDED. MY friend just bought the sport touring edition yesterday and come to find out the remote start is ONLY available with the Honda Link membership which is 3 moth trial and then $10/month or $110/year. Yes, you get other features but I'm thinking about remote start for winter time and over 10 years of ownership it makes more sense to just get a separate remote starter for warming the vehicle. $300 vs $1,100 over 10 years of ownership.
Correction , it is included in the key fob . Subscription fee is for remote start on the app on the phone
My new honda civic came with remote start and I just got it Saturday.
