50 year old woman recovering from late stage lyme disease here. I've recently discovered jump rope and I LOVE IT! I bought one of your ropes for myself and another for my husband. I'm jumping 30 min a day 45 seconds on 15 seconds rest, so far so good. Thanks for the awesome ropes and instructions. God bless.
Hi Laura! Sounds like you’re making an amazing recovery. What an inspiration to the rest of us. 45:15 is a great option. One of our favorite things to do is skip a 5K and it sounds like you have the endurance to do it. Usually we do 5Ks to raise awareness about a disease or cause. Perhaps something to consider. Hop on!
Thank you for your videos. I'm a 69 year old beginner and am so happy I found your channel before I picked up too many bad habits. Using a big mirror and a videocam combined with the detail you provide has helped me get started with the basics in a very satisfactory way. Keep up the good work. I got a Crossrope Get Lean set but I think I'll try one of yours especially since Jump Rope Vet likes them. Using good technique with low impact, hopefully I'll have a few years to learn something useful
Bill, we’re so excited to hear that you’ve started jumping and thank you for the kind words. Jude (aka Jump Rope Veteran) is a superstar. Have a fantastic summer and keep on skipping!
Thanks for this! I'm legally blind almost 50! And completely new! I jump 5 times in a row and dang near stroke out! Haha...been trying to find ways to increase my stamina, thanks again!
Hi Stephanie! Jumping without turning the rope is a good way to improve endurance. I often jump with my eyes closed and find that removing vision does not have much of an impact on my jumping ability. Listening to the sound that the rope makes can help you improve your timing.
Why this video has less views? It seems these instructions are really great for endurance. You guys are doing great job educating people to live a healthy life. ✌️❤️
I made just over a minute last week, made it to 50 seconds a few times since, but yeah I’m winded in a good way, any other jumpers out there? What’s ur longest ? I use a timer !
I enjoyed many of your videos. I started jump roping during lock down and now I'm quite okay as I'm able to jump rope continuously for more than 1-1.5 min with all sorts of styles/technique that I learn from your various videos and including others. When I started my rope jumping it often catches my ankle or shin (understandably for beginners). Now it seems after some months of training with the jump rope, I seem to step on the rope more often as though my jump timing went off or I gotten lazier and jump much lower (not providing enough height for the rope rotation), hence stepping on it. My goal is to be able to jump rope more than 15 to 20 mins continuously w/o breaking the jump and I find it almost impossible. It often happens after the 1min mark that I break my jump by stepping onto the rope. What can be the issue? Form, slow wrist rotation etc or combination of these?
Also Shauna make now Homeoffice 😉 The free world is now in a kind of prison. Hopefully this situation ends soon. Stay healthy there on the other side of the Atlantic

Thank you! We don’t advertise so maybe that’s why some of our videos have less views. We hope that our subscribers will spread the word.

Nice going! In our opinion the quality of the jumps is more important than the quantity. Keep perfecting your form and the endurance will follow.

The only way for us to even guess would be to see a video of you jumping.
Boxer step 😤 just can’t get it 😡
Have you watched our tutorial on how to do it? It can be tricky at first and definitely takes some practice.
Punk Rope yep even have it saved on my phone
best thing is to post a video of yourself trying so folks like us can take a look and try to offer suggestions.
Update on boxer step?
