hey man... thank you very much... I was struggling with this for a long time now... I am learning Maya on my own so it's quite difficult to get tutorials online...
Wow this short video helped me a lot👍👍 thanks buddy I had one doubt is there any sites where I can find already made texture maps of SCRATCHES??? I NEED THEM ON MY 3D IRON MAN HELMET
No worries glad it helped. There lots of good cg textures sites out there, half way down this page you can find some links iga.hihm.no/links/ www.cgi-textures.com/ and www.textures.com/ are a some others off the top of my head. Also worth considering shooting some yourself for the best quality, for scratches like this you can get some glass, use sandpaper on it to scratch it up put a black sheet behind it and then light it to pickup the scratches, that will get you a really good quality result that is easy to pull a key on.
Something similar to this but for scratches design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-create-custom-shattered-glass-brushes-in-adobe-photoshop--cms-22894 a bit more work but the result is usually worth it. It gets you up off the machine which is nice and also you get to scratch beat up and break stuff which is a plus :)
Hi Naiki, your very welcome. AOVs are interesting and can be very useful. I will see if I can time for this, but it most likely be into 2021 at this stage as I am slammed at work until then.

Hello, first of all thanks for sharing this tutorial
Arnold Would you consider a tutorial for the AOVS part?
