Hello hair buddha I'm a 37 year old woman, big fan. I just want to praise you for saying it's not just hair. I've lost ALL of my hair before from a disease, it was to my tailbone naturally and so healthy and beautiful. I hate when people say it's just hair too. It's not. It's a big deal. I had to wear wigs for a long time and grew it back out finally to tailbone and went to have a trim of a few inches and the hair dresser said she couldn't stand long hair and was criticizing it. She cut nearly 10 inches off and I cried. When she was addressed by her superior she said " well I just don't see the point of being particular about hair but mmmmkay". I was apologized to greatly but still, I learned my lesson. And took it upon myself to learn how to do my own trims. I don't trust many stylist. Id trust you. But not many. I also wish I had done a video of me taking my DYED black hair to platinum blond with a dark blonde root shadow, in one go without any damage or trouble because of the education I've taught myself by watching your videos on what not to do and wat to do. But I didn't record it. But I'm so proud of myself and I know you would be too! I just did it this month. No red or yellow or orange tones at all. I used Olaplex after to repair from bleaching. And I used a professional grade toner to remove any brassiness after bleaching safely to the right level first. And my hair is now healthier than before actually. I used all professional grade products. And I watched high end salon videos on how to do proper root shadow and balayage so I did that too. I'm a natural blonde with dark blonde shadow naturally, so it's just going back to natural for me finally after 15 years of dying it a dark brown to black which suited me well too. But I'm so happy with it now as well. And just wanted to thank you for your education! And yes I did deep conditioner and hair repair in between each step as well and will continue to do so! And I did a good trim as well to remove damage from any bleach damage. And I also used a bonding bleach that has hair bonding technology in it to lessen damage during bleaching. And a few other steps I took to take care of my hair in the process so I don't damage it. So again thank you for your expertise! It really helped me.
I was almost thinking...she looked to the mirror or so. But then I saw how the husband tried to stay out of the way of the camera. I didn't even realised it's a wig. Very scary at first
As someone who has lost all her hair in the past due to medical reasons, id never get upset with someone messing with their hair. Life is too short to not get that cute little microbang you've always wanted or to try out that flashy colour tou thought might look cool. Go ahead, cut that ish and slap that bleach on, baby, you have my blessing 👍🫡💪
Haha..I agree... cancer patient here.Lost all my hair. Now that I have hair again, I put blond streaks and I dye them all different colors. I'm also in my sixties.
Hair Buddha, recently you did a video on 80s hair. I came of age in the 80s, I love all of our big hair! In 1981 I had the most FABULOUS spiral perm. I have naturally very thick, very straight light auburn hair. I can’t lie, that perm was show stopping, the curls caught the light and gave a golden overall aura to it. The downside of perms is upkeep, so I only kept the look for about 9 months, but I felt like a goddess. Through the 90s I had many different looks, and I loved all of them. Fortunately my hair grows very fast. Now at 63 I am naturally gray, and straight, and presently really need to go get a haircut. Had grown it out really long but it was just too heavy, so I cut it straight across about 3” below my shoulders. When I go I will be getting it really short, up over my ears and tapered on the back.
I'm a "it's just hair" girl. But, like you said, some people wish they had hair. So I decided at the weekend, I'm going to spend 3-4 years growing it purely to donate it to a charity to make wigs. I just see it as recycling. I don't want it, but someone else might
Some of them are actually for-profit companies that sell the hair to make extensions and charge the clients too much for the wigs, or don't actually make wigs at all. 😢 If you're fine with that, cool, but I recommend thorough research if you're not.
I’m about 100% sure the laser level cut was a wig and a bad video…..just saying. The thinning shear lady had thin hair before she started cutting/thinning.
For some people, it's just hair. For others, it is MUCH more than that. Both are absolutely valid as long as you're respectful of the fact your opinion is not another's reality.
If you just decide one day to drastically change your hair. You just CAN'T stop yourself. Stop what you're doing and call a buddy. Your hair isn't whats bothering you

It transforms childrens lives can wigs if they have hair loss from whatever cause ❤

I am curious for the results Edit: Great, so now I am jealous😅😂 she can rock this look so good! That hair it is soooo good. I don't even have enough hair to so those bangs.
🤣🤣I accidentally thinned my daughters hair with normal scissors to...we both saw the chunk fall and laughed...I couldn't believe I had done it...luckily we just went with a shorter cut and she wasn't mad🤣🤣🤣🤣
I see people using these thinning shears and wish I could get more hair on my head 😢. After babies I lost so much hair and it’s not recovered as at yet.
I would never use them but having had thick hair most of my life,I understand why someone would want to thin their hair. I sweat at the nape of my neck and start overheating. It also smells if I do yard work and sweat too much. And gets knots. Not fun.
@@thaismatsumoto I can understand that for sure. I guess what really gets me is when they say “if I mess up it’s just hair”. It really isn’t just hair, hair loss can affect how you feel about yourself, so seeing persons be reckless with their hair is hard to watch.
I have been getting my hair cut at Great Clips for decades. It was always a decent place to get a decent haircut cheap. I like to have my hair just below shoulder length, cut straight. Sounds simple, right? I used to get my hair cut twice a year because you can let straight hair go a while. I haven’t had my hair cut in a year and a half because the past few haircuts I’ve had have been so bad. It costs around $20 now to have someone spend five minutes cutting my hair straight and do a bad job of it. So when that blond lady takes cutting her hair into her own hands and she says it’s not bad but you say it’s not good, I know where she is coming from. Just trying to get the guts to cut my own hair right now.
I have always had bangs as an adult. Almost fifty years. I have only been to a hairdresser once in the last thirty five years. That when I had cancer and donated my waist length hair. The salon cut my hair for free and actually gave me a cute short style, even though it would start falling out in a couple of weeks. But I always cut my bangs myself. I like the center above my glasses,so I use my eyebrows as my guide..Then the sides slightly longer.

I'm not trying to be an a-hole here - Are you not allowed to decide the color of your own hair? Him not being able to see it anyway makes it even more puzzling. If it's not hurting anyone/anything (i.e., limiting your employment opportunities or something), and it makes you happy, what's the issue?
I am allowed to decide my own hair color. I had to wait until I retired from my job before I could begin. I did a slow process of changing the color. I went from 1 strip to several before going all over purple. I have been full on purple for 6 years. I was also curious to see how long it would take my husband to pick up the clues from family.
11:04 I once got around 5 inches cut off from my hair and got highlights and my brother's literally didn't even notice at all. I wasn't mad that they didn't notice. I was honestly a little flabbergasted at their lack of observational skills. Like...seriously? You see me everyday and you didn't notice the suddenly short hair and lighter shade?
9:59 Not bad...but bad for the fact, that she had help. My aunt cuts my ends and she is doing much better. Sorry... But she has beautiful hair! ❤ Strong and healthy
First ones legs are crossed. Always have client uncross legs as it will be uneven. If you look under the chair you can see she only has one foot on the floor.
The first one is fake, a man that uses laser to make things straight would never "forget" to align her head. And a woman knows better that a tilted head will end up in an uneven cut.
I can console myself that the "hair" in the first video appeared to be a synthetic fiber wig based on its shiny appearance and that the last video appeared to be staged with the badly acted hiding of scissors in the drawer and "just going to the bathroom" line. The other videos... well, the ladies seemed happy with the results.
Referencing the last girl- I cut my hair and dyed it a completely different color (I went from a level 8.4 to a level 6.4). My then-husband did not notice. Then he got mad at me because he hadn't noticed and his mom had to point it out.
If she was trying to be quirky/funny, major Fail. Perhaps she was trying to normalize fearing your spouse's reaction to making a minor change in your appearance without permission, a characteristic common among healthy relationships. At the same time, she is nonchalantly deceiving and manipulating her husband (another strong indicator of a healthy relationship). That's less of a Fail and more a case of sh!tty-content-that-could-actually-be-harmful. IDK if it's real or fake but either way, can we not glorify toxicity?☢
@@sashadoom I agree. Her wanting to hide her mistake from her husband and then trying to get him to notice her mistake was pretty obnoxious. You can't have it both ways. Plus, all he has to do is go online and he'll end up seeing her video at some point. Especially when she has a channel. Everything is everywhere on the Internet. This one will end up coming back to bite her, one way or another.
I'm 63 and absolutely refuse to go to a hair dresser. I'm 1/2 Japanese and 1/2 Puerto Rican. Consequently, my hair color and type are different than the majority of people as is my skin tone. My hair consists of several different natural colors - black, brown, blonde, reddish brown, white. There are waves, some curls and straight hair. Some strands are thick and strong and other strands are thin. I have curly, straight, wavy hair. No one hair cut works - not even layers. So I have let it grow long. I don't dye my hair. If I want to go blonde (which I tried) I look like Bozo the Clown - bright orange. Went to a hair dresser to lighten my hair - Bozo the Clown. If I darken my hair, I look like the walking dead. Makeup. A big NOPE. The only time that I did wear makeup was when I mixed my own foundation. I refuse to buy 4-5 different foundation colors. Plus, my skin tone changes depending on the season. It's darker in the summer and very light in the winter. Don't get me started on eye shadow. Yes, my eye color changes. If I'm relaxed, it's a light brown with gold and black spots. If I'm angry, they turn pitch black. The lesson I've learned from this is to accept myself and my uniqueness. Plus, I save a crap ton of $$$.
Last video - Yikes. I don't know if it's real or fake, but either way, let's not normalize fearing our partner's reaction if we make a minor change to our appearance without getting their permission first. Thanks, Management Sequence of events: - Randomly chops a few pieces of hair - Afraid of what might happen if her husband finds out she 'completely destroyed' her hair - Wonders how long she can get away with it before he notices - Disguise the unevenness! Get rid of the evidence! - OMG he's home! Crap, there's still some hair in the sink ['Internationally' dies] - Will he notice my hair??? [Tension builds] - OMG, he isn't noticing! Thank goodness!! - I should be relieved but... - Why ISN'T he noticing?? I don't want that either - I must trick him into looking at my hair - I must also hide my 'destroyed' hair for a few months - My story is funny and makes complete sense Hannah dear, are you OK? ⚠Boys and girls, should you ever find yourselves in a similar-but-less-fake situation as the main character, it is highly likely that you are struggling with your mental health, and/or you are being threatened and controlled by your partner. Either way, please seek help immediately.⚠
My mother is in the process of loosing hair. She told me how much she regrets all perms and listening of hair trough her life. This second person...how can be fun ruining scalp and hair? Pardon. This society is not vital.
My man is in construction and refuse to cut my hair because he thinks he is going to mess up a straight line cut. I'll definitely suggest him to use his laser.

Also I see one foot on the floor. My daughter always tells me uncross my legs 😅
Referencing the last girl- I cut my hair and dyed it a completely different color (I went from a level 8.4 to a level 6.4). My then-husband did not notice. Then he got mad at me because he hadn't noticed and his mom had to point it out.
T18 ain't gonna fix any of that 😅😅😅
RIGHT! Men don't notice a hair cut unless it's drastic ... like very long to very short.
First one is a wig
That first one is her fail not his. Her head was tilted and it looks like her legs are crossed.
She hides the evidence to make sure he doesn't notice her hair. Then she purposely baits him trying to get him to notice her hair. What does she want?
In the first video for me it looks like a wig..
The laser cutting, not only did she have her head tilted, she had her legs crossed. Or she only had 1 leg.
First one has her legs crossed, meaning she wont be sitting straight
Cutting her hair with laser accuracy.
It’s only about 6 cm out!😂
I let my precious husband cut our baby’s bangs once and ONLY once.🤦♀️😳(The baby looked like a boy version of Dora the Explorer 😂)
Mag wel Nederland spreken hé, lach me rot om jouw reacties geweldig😂😂😂😂
Love hair buddha 💜uk
Last video - Yikes. I don't know if it's real or fake, but either way, let's not normalize fearing our partner's reaction if we make a minor change to our appearance without getting their permission first.
Thanks,
Management
Sequence of events:
- Randomly chops a few pieces of hair
- Afraid of what might happen if her husband finds out she 'completely destroyed' her hair
- Wonders how long she can get away with it before he notices
- Disguise the unevenness! Get rid of the evidence!
- OMG he's home! Crap, there's still some hair in the sink ['Internationally' dies]
- Will he notice my hair??? [Tension builds]
- OMG, he isn't noticing! Thank goodness!!
- I should be relieved but...
- Why ISN'T he noticing?? I don't want that either
- I must trick him into looking at my hair
- I must also hide my 'destroyed' hair for a few months
- My story is funny and makes complete sense
Hannah dear, are you OK?
⚠Boys and girls, should you ever find yourselves in a similar-but-less-fake situation as the main character, it is highly likely that you are struggling with your mental health, and/or you are being threatened and controlled by your partner. Either way, please seek help immediately.⚠
No not the ponytails
This is why you go and pay a professional
My mother is in the process of loosing hair. She told me how much she regrets all perms and listening of hair trough her life. This second person...how can be fun ruining scalp and hair? Pardon. This society is not vital.
The first one was a wig. I'm surprised you didn't call them out for it.
Monday🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
New Video ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Her head was tilted
Last one was a setup 😑 Not real
And not funny. "Yay, I'm unhinged and my relationship is toxic, LOL!"
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How to save money...hand the scissors over to your husband.
✂️ 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ ✂️
Goodness the First Lady should know to keep her head straight!🤦♀️
That first video looks like a wig
Fixed clip is a wig
My man is in construction and refuse to cut my hair because he thinks he is going to mess up a straight line cut. I'll definitely suggest him to use his laser.
Can you react to stella cini please thank you
I thought the 1st girl was going to lose her hair for sure
If I continues to tilt my head to the side, toss my head, play with my hair, etc. I would expect to be asked to leave the salon.
