  • Basic, how to replace Rear Brake Pads. This applies to most Volvos form the 80-90 era.
    This particular car is a Volvo S70 from -97.

      right i suppose would have been nice but most people can figure out how to do that part. i needed a quick explaination of the basic pad swap without an long video. 5 seconds i figured out how to pry the piston back with a screw driver. having said that i didn't need to know how to jack the car or remove the wheel.

      Glenn Gawron it is a very easy job on this Volvo, eventuellt though my caliper is very rusty

    Would be better to remove the brake calipers, clean them up to a smooth surface (as well as the guiding pins) and inspect the piston rubber for damage. Your brakes will jam sooner or later if you don't.
