Thank you for just being real. I'm sure we'd be fast friends IRL. I'm at the end of my 1st trimester with my first baby (naturally @ 45!) and I absolutely love your videos. I'm always smiling once it's over. So, thanks!
Im only 9 weeks, so don't really need a pillow yet, my husband is my pillow for now 😂 and for being stressed or anxious, what helps me SO MUCH is relying on God, going to Mass, praying. It makes it so relaxed 🙏🥰
I am 10 weeks pregnant and OMG I have Googled everything for the entire pregnancy 😂. Am always on Google and baby apps. Your week 24 looks like my 10th week
Same here, my husband is even tired of hearing about pregnancy, the only thing i can do is to google 24/7, pray for a beautiful baby 24/7, all i can discuss is pregnancy and hold my stomach everywhere😂😂
@@aphlynerayne4673 😂 😂 😂 😂 how far long are you? .. Same here talking about baby all the time, about baby clothes 😂 about when my baby is gonna learn how to swim.. 😂 It's so nice
I was soooooo bloated at 10 weeks you know! Then around 12-13 weeks i really lost my appetite and could only really eat fruit and yoghurt for a few weeks so i looked less pregnant than before! I actually lost half a stone but the midwife team said thats fine! 23 weeks now and last week this MASSIVE bump just appeared overnight 🤣🤣🤣 Best wishes all 💕
God, I needed to hear this ! jack spot and big thank to you!! I was burned out, lost all the interests and felt guilty not be able to enegatic about being pregnant. At the same time I Think I am not stressing out and couldn't gather the question or priorities things. I feel much better and calm right now.
This is pregnancy... and parenthood! Overwhelming yet beautiful! One funny thing about names is you’re so emotional, yet you’re allowed to name a baby! So happy my husband talked me into our girls’ names! Pregnant me had some wild names!
The way you describe baby moving is exactly what I’ve been trying to tell people! It freaks me out every time cause it feels like a worm is in me! Definitely not like butterflies or flutters
I think the "butterflies and flutters" is only in the very earliest stages of being able to feel the baby. It very quickly turns into those kicks and punches and rolls, lol!
oh my GOD. I'm 16 weeks pregnant and feel so overwhelmed by literally everything and didn't know if it was just hormones or if I was legitimately losing my mind haha. but you writing that down TWICE on the list helped me calm down so much, thank you ♥
I’m not a person who laughs often and you made me laugh my ass off. Your so natural and you mean what you say. I’m going on my second trimester with my third child and I swear I lose my mind often. My hormones are out of wack and it’s cool when it’s cool but it’s rough when it’s rough !
HHaha I’ll take this as a huge complement, and couldn’t agree more about cool when it’s cool and rough when it’s rough. I also have no idea what pregnant with your THIRD is like 🙌🙌🙌kudos mama
Hahaha, I thought my husband's head was going to explode the other day when he was resting his hand on my little bump and felt our daughter kick for the first time 😂
really thankful for videos like this because everyone i know had only ever told me "pregnancy is bliss and butterfly flutters and you'll literally glow and be the most beautiful you've ever been" then that first trimester hit and i was like WAIT WHAT
I'm your age and probably will never have babies, don't actually give a crap about pregnancy info, but I watch these videos right when they come out and I get pure enjoyment till the last second. I wished they would last more. Why is that? I don't know. I guess it's your personality
“Don’t give a crap” lol…. Weird to actually say that. It’s good to educate yourself.. as a woman especially. Idk. Just odd energy coming from that statement
Oh man I'm 22 weeks right now & hearing you ramble actually made me feel more sane, normal so thank you for this 😁😊 definitely gonna be checking out those books!!
My wife just hit week 12 and this came up in my recommended. I kinda *know* all of this sorta stuff will happen but is always good to hear someones live updates and thoughts etc (even if the video is 18 months old). Hope family and baby is healthy!!
I’m 20 weeks and don’t really feel hormonal, I’m a very calm, cool, collected person, or “so I think” but I don’t feel like I make a big deal out of anything, it’s like “oh well” nor I feel stressed about things, not very opinionated in general. Pregnancy symptoms are minimal. But the baby flutters are my favorite thing! Good luck to us all!
Agree. Don't tell anyone when you've decided on a baby name, because people will give you their option (either they'll tell you or you can read it in their faces) and try to convince you to name the child something else or whatever. Just you and Seth, decide on a name and then keep quiet about it until baby is there, because as soon as baby is born and given the name, people will accept it because they can't exactly go ahead and tell you they didn't like that name - or at least most people will try to avoid that 🙈
This is totally true. We had our Christmas gathering and I told my family my baby's name, cause I was so excited! But everybody has something to say and couldn't shut their mouth for disapproval. That feeling when you're suddenly down and just smiling with every comment. Sucks! So better just keep it to the two of you.
This!! My MIL has been asking us on the name and we told her what we liked she responded with “oh there’s a lady at my work with that name”. My face was like “😐” 😂.
Just about to hit 24 weeks and grateful to finally see someone acknowledge the weird hormonal stress in 2nd trimester - I had 5 days around the 20-week mark where my blissful pregnancy turned on its head and suddenly I was fragile and crying on a hair-trigger. Then I woke up on day six and I had levelled out 🤷♀️ it took until a few days ago for me to finally feel above the angst again; hoping it stays that way for a bit before 3rd trimester turns up to kick my ass. All that to say, thanks for affirming my experience by being real ❤
This was a big help. I’m just beginning my 2nd trimester and I’m already feeling more emotional....I sobbed & woke my husband up at 5 am. He had to calm me down. Lol
Low key when you said 5:25 “I haven’t done anything.” I literally couldn’t stop but feel some relief. It’s a weird pressure but at the same time there isn’t much I can do second trimester. Other than sit and wait. Maybe prep myself mentally through the morning sickness and stupid symptoms. But I’m not even two months in and I’m stressing that I’m doing something wrong. 😅
Everything feeling overwhelming yes !!!! I’m literally in tears and laughing at the same time finding comfort in knowing I’m not alone . This video was so accurate and super fun thank you ❤
The hormonal part is so true.. lol I walked into the bathroom with the window open, and it was raining outside. My husband was in there getting ready, and I started crying because the rain sounded SO beautiful. Lolol
Lol Omgsh you’re gold! I just hit 18 weeks and I’m at the “everything is overwhelming” stage and I’ve never felt more peace knowing I’m not the only crazy, thanks!
Just found your channel, and my God, thank you for being so REAL but also lighthearted about pregnancy and birth! I feel like I just relate so much with everything you said, definitely had me in stitches over no.15. My poor husband -- he has the patience of a saint. And I'm just over here feeling like a crazy women! xxx
I feel so validated with the underwear tip. I didn’t have to go a size up with my first pregnancy but here we are. Definitely need it second time around.
I'm 13 weeks and I haven't been that moody or hormonal my first trimester, but then today I started watching all of your pregnancy videos and just started crying because "it's so relatable." 😂🤣
Wow yes thank you for your full frontal authenticity. You’ve got me giggling. Definitely feeling the hormonal wild mood swings and emotional waves. But again, thank you for all of this!
Found your channel after having my baby 2 months ago and I love it it’s so honest and everything I wish I knew now I’m watching this laughing cause it’s all true
I cried when I bought the underwear on Amazon because they were so big but I also cried when I put them on because of how amazingly they felt 🤣 those hormones… also the pregnancy pillow. Love it. Husband doesn’t but me and the dog think it’s the best thing ever
The best pregnancy advice thus far! I'm 21 weeks & u pretty much said everything I'm thinking. Also haven't laughed this hard in a WHILE - so relatable. Thanks for making my day :)
I'm 14 weeks and very overwhelmed, I've had 2 bad panic attacks so far. I ended up in the ER with one. I'm in my 40's and this will be my first. I'm scared of birth, if I'll be able to keep my job, money...everything.
Hi Shayla, I'm 24 weeks as well, and I understand everything you said in the video! I really love the naturalness of how you explain things, it's exactly the way it is :) Best of luck in your pregnancy X
Watching this at 13 weeks and 3 days pregnant with a baby girl. I'm due in June of 2024. EDIT: I accidentally put baby boy We're having a girl. I have pregnancy brain obviously 😂
you just listed all the things I am dealing with in my first trimester currently. Especially everything being overwhelming and hunger all of a sudden. I shared this moment with my husband and was talking to him how i feel grateful wor his help and he started to say about his fears of me getting used to these ways of talking with him and moodiness and just keep being this negative after pregnancy too and so we fought again instead of just saying I appreciate you realize that this moodiness is tough, he just made me madder. (( Aaaaaa. I cant deal with that...
@@heyshayla it got better. I am 10w4d now and nausea subsided, extreme sudden hunger as well. I started to feel mellow now. My hubby is feeling sweet and nice too now😊
So basically--- you said everything I would have said in the same tone! Obviously this is two years later BUT! I love it! Only thing I would add. .... go to the chiropractor. It helped me alot. People told me and I ddint go. Then I regretted it. And then I went. And then I knew.... its worth it.
Loved this video! I'm on week 23 of my pregnancy, and this is the most relatable video that I have seen ❤ Also glad I'm not the only one struggling with my muscles locking up, mornings are rough right now
I’m trying to conceive right now and so I’m watching this video way far in advance, but I love the way you describe everything! It’s the same funny style that I feel like my internal monologue gets sometimes.
🙁 I hope he gets a clue. Pregnancy emotions are real and INTENSE. I’m six months pregnant and I have cried ALOT. I always remind my husband to be patient with me. I told him he needs to realize I’m not the same me I was before, I’m this new me that’s raging with hormones and growing a HUMAN BEING.
My husband at first didn't get this after him telling me to stop being mean.... a couple of times after him realizing this doesn't make a difference he realized this is his life for the next 9 months and he should just expect it. Lol
"I haven't done anything" too real!!! however, I have stressed my partner and myself out about how little we have prepared so that's a step right...right??
Oh my God I LOVE your personality. I laughed through almost all of this. Thanks baby momma! I'm due December 2021 and this is the most helpful video out of the 1,000 I've watched so far (yes I googled everything)
Definitely don't ask for advice. I had my heart set on a name, I told my parents and my Dad's like "no, that's a terrible name" 😳😓😭 just don't discuss it with anyone until they're born and you can't change it 😅
I’m currently in my second trimester. Was only just able to find an OBGYN that could see me. It’s tomorrow. Kinda worried since I’ve been winging it since now. And I’m about 18-19 weeks. I’m pretty healthy but I smoke, been working on stoping and super close. Just have to stick with it. I worry for my lil nugget. Mainly cause I have no idea what I could do help lessen the impact on the baby. I’ll still love them regardless. Anyone here smoke? What helped you stop? I don’t want to talk to a helpline or something, they always feel automated. Also easy recipes that arnt hard on your wallet or recipes you know would be nice ( live in CA so prices are shit ) Sry for rambling. I’m lonely
Thanks a lot, enjoyed it a lot! Downloaded the Ina May’s book; was also really confused about this first kicking sensations, really hard to explain; loved ‘bi-belly’ word, that’s exactly what I have; still haven’t gotten to maternity clothes store, but running out of things to wear:) thanks again
Omg your the best!! I especially liked the part where you said "stop googling things"!! That's legit all I've been doing as well. But no, overall your video really really really helped me, and made me laugh out loud! Thank you
I’m 24 weeks today and just found your video and I’ve never related to something so much! Especially #14 😂 this vid makes me feel so much more at ease because I thought I’d need everything figured out by now. Thanks heaps xx
Thank you, I’m so relieved to know I’m not the only hormonal and emotional pregnant human. It’s just so reassuring to hear other women sure exactly what I feel like I’m going through! I feel bad as my husband is having the short end of my emotions lol, but I am also very grateful how gracious he has been as well!
Finally someone who also has an anterior placenta and someone who explains kicks the same way I do😂 this is the first video of yours I’ve watched and I’m for sure subscribing
Same here! My placenta is at the front so it might take a little longer to see kicks 😭😂 I know a girl who's the same amount of weeks pregnant as me and she can already see her baby kicking. Atm I can only feel lil movements but I can't see the kicks. I know it's bad to compare your pregnancy with anothers but I'm just soooo jealous cause I wanna see her kick already 😂😂😭
The overwhelmed thing! Oh my god I feel so bad sometimes because I just start crying. I’m still tired though and I’ve started really seeing tummy growing and I’m just too tired to workout after work. Your video made me not feel so alone with things that I’ve been going through.
Currently in the 2nd trimester with my 1st and the best way I can describe baby kicks are like... when you go to the fair and play one of those carnival games and win a fish in a bag as a prize and you end up accidentally sloshing the bag around too much while carrying it and feel the fish hit the side of the bag 🤣
I love this video especially your baby bump I’m a little chunky and my bump doesn’t show too much in regular clothes but when you showed yours it made me feel better
I'm not sure if I'm afraid of labour or if I'm deeply adverse to the pain and the aftermath of labour. I like the idea of hypnobirth, it appeals to my hippie sensibilities, but when it comes down to it, I will actively ignore it, and power through full of terror.
Im 18 weeks pregnant with my third child and atleast mentally I feel so chill knowing most of the things. Honestly I don't know everything but after two c sections, 1 prem and NICU experience, morning sickness all pregnancy long with the second pregnancy, placenta previa, emergency birth and all the nuggets in between.... honestly I'm just happy I'm not having natural birth, not that I had a choice before but I do take my hat off to the natural birth mom's. And seriously I'm so happy that I'm working from home with this pregnancy (can nap and rest when I need to) where I was working as a teacher with both my previous pregnancies and even had to work in school holidays for holiday school. This is definitely my last child so I'm trying to make the most of it and loving it. With my second and now third preg, I could feel baby from 11 weeks. So been feeling baby for a while already , just frustrated having to wait to wait so long to find out the gender.......... I am small so that's why I could feel baby so early. Love this video ♡
I enjoyed your video! I am 20 weeks and boy oh boy can I relate. I was trying to make a vet appointment for my dogs last week and yeah, I ended up crying. She ended up calling my husband haha. He's like sorry she's a super hormonal pregnant lady. That's me!
I enjoyed this🤣 it’s been 11 years since my last child I’m starting my 2 trimester now!!! So far this baby is great!🤷🏼♀️🤣. But I understand the hormonal changes and over dramatizing some things...I also get what ppl call “baby brain,” forgetting little things that I normally are sharp on! 🤪😫😩😆 I’m enjoying this pregnancy so far. My first child 13 years ago my daughter had me eating and sleeping all the time. My son 11 years ago was a breeze, nothing changed much and my energy was great! Fast forward now, this baby is really chill...just what I stated above, great pregnancy this far🙏🏼🥰😁😁😁
Im going through an extremely though pregnancy because of domestic abuse and me running away back to my parents house. I cry every day and im 18 weeks. I ve been here only 1 week and im hoping i ll get better and my baby wont have to suffer anymore in my belly because of a crying depressed mommy
I needed to pause the video cause I just bursted laughing at the hormonal part "I need screws... and I'm really hungry!" That has been me for 3 weeks now!
Omg, I love that you brought up how your partner felt about the pregnancy pillow. I couldn't believe how (jokingly) victimized my hubby was by mine when I brought it to bed for the first time. Glad it's not just me. ☺ This video was super helpful-- thank you!
Currently 26 weeks and goodness… soooo funny because it’s so true! The way I can describe it, it feels like “bubbles” or “farting in your stomach”🤣😂, it’s such a weird feeling but makes me laugh every time.
I describe kicking as a fish in my uterus. Also my mom bought me a Squatty Potty as a gag Christmas gift a few years ago, I've never been more grateful to have one. It helps so much. Seriously mamas, GET ONE.
"I just want to have a healthy baby - ideally in the most hippie way I can." Best. Pregnancy. Quote.

The description of the first movements is so spot on! For me it kinda just feels like balls rolling around.
I like how real it was, made me feel comfortable
Loved this video!
I'm on week 23 of my pregnancy, and this is the most relatable video that I have seen ❤ Also glad I'm not the only one struggling with my muscles locking up, mornings are rough right now
What a fun personality you have 😃😄, glad I found this page! Many of the things are relatable- I’m 14 weeks now
Oh good that makes me so happy, CONGRATULATIONS!
Hey ofentse😜How's your hornones, am insane
My midwife had to tell me to stop googling things 🤦🏼♀️ so I am glad you’re telling people too!
I’m trying to conceive right now and so I’m watching this video way far in advance, but I love the way you describe everything! It’s the same funny style that I feel like my internal monologue gets sometimes.
Omg, she is not Even lying! So true! This is my twin in spirit, like the hormones are for real!! I'm in my second trimester! Loved it
I'm pregnant but my husband hasn't grasped the fact of hormones. He just yells at me because I'm crying too much..
I can totally relate you
Im guilty. Will stop doing this to my wife . Its not because I'm evil, I just also lose patience , will work on it .
They don't understand
My husband at first didn't get this after him telling me to stop being mean.... a couple of times after him realizing this doesn't make a difference he realized this is his life for the next 9 months and he should just expect it. Lol
Im 13 weeks pregnant I’m so excited for my baby my belly isn’t big yet and it’s still soft
You are so funny!! I’ve been having a cappy day with pregnancy blues, and this is the first time I laughed today watching your video ❤️🥹
Ugh pregnancy blues. The hormones are real.
Hahaha amazing!!!
Started the 2nd trimester yesterday! Love it
Yay!! Congrats!! I hope you’re feeling great!
Also easy recipes that arnt hard on your wallet or recipes you know would be nice ( live in CA so prices are shit )
Sry for rambling. I’m lonely
I love you. I’m 14 weeks and I’ve just found your channel. I’m literally losing my mind in this pregnancy and you made me laugh so thank you.
Oh my gosh same!!
Going on week 19 and I’m now familiar with baby kicks!!! It’s still so surreal lol
Me to congratulations
Thanks a lot, enjoyed it a lot! Downloaded the Ina May’s book; was also really confused about this first kicking sensations, really hard to explain; loved ‘bi-belly’ word, that’s exactly what I have; still haven’t gotten to maternity clothes store, but running out of things to wear:) thanks again
Omg your the best!! I especially liked the part where you said "stop googling things"!! That's legit all I've been doing as well. But no, overall your video really really really helped me, and made me laugh out loud! Thank you
Yay!!! Love that!!
I’m 24 weeks today and just found your video and I’ve never related to something so much! Especially #14 😂 this vid makes me feel so much more at ease because I thought I’d need everything figured out by now. Thanks heaps xx
You literally made me laugh out loud with number 15. I could seriously relate.
This has been so helpful! First time mom here in my first trimester
Finally someone who also has an anterior placenta and someone who explains kicks the same way I do😂 this is the first video of yours I’ve watched and I’m for sure subscribing
It’s weird right?! Haha I’m glad you liked the video!
I got anterior with both my kids felt it more
Magnesium is great for restless leg syndrome too! I’ve struggled off and on with it but it came back with vengeance in pregnancy!
The overwhelmed thing! Oh my god I feel so bad sometimes because I just start crying. I’m still tired though and I’ve started really seeing tummy growing and I’m just too tired to workout after work. Your video made me not feel so alone with things that I’ve been going through.
I feel the same way about my baby moving it never felt like flutters but gurgles in your belly
“Stop googling things” 😂😭😭
I love this video especially your baby bump I’m a little chunky and my bump doesn’t show too much in regular clothes but when you showed yours it made me feel better
TOTALY relatable!! Thank you fir being so authentic!! :)
Omg I been feeling a little down today body aces. I really enjoyed watching you! This made me laugh. I'm 17 weeks pregnant. Thank you 😅
Watching this again for my second pregnancy 🎉❤
That's me!
Hahaha right?! I feel ya
I’m enjoying this pregnancy so far.
UA-cam video mention is Channel Mom. -Thanks gonna check it out next!
I needed to pause the video cause I just bursted laughing at the hormonal part "I need screws... and I'm really hungry!"
That has been me for 3 weeks now!
Haha right?! It’s THE WORST because you know you’re being crazy!
This video is so chaotic.. just like pregnancy, I love it😂😂
Yes yes yesssss! You explain everything I’ve been going through!!
My girlfriend is pregnant, 2nd trimester, so this video brought some clarity 😊
Hahaha good!! And good for you for watching this video!! She’s a lucky girl
Omg, I love that you brought up how your partner felt about the pregnancy pillow. I couldn't believe how (jokingly) victimized my hubby was by mine when I brought it to bed for the first time. Glad it's not just me. ☺ This video was super helpful-- thank you!
Hahah I know they hate it! 😂😂
I’m 24 weeks pregnant with our second and this makes me laugh!! The accuracy of the hormonal stress🤣. Man
Currently 26 weeks and goodness… soooo funny because it’s so true!
Hahaha RIGHT!!! It’s so necessary!
@@heyshayla it honestly is. Best "gag" gift ever.
I love how you talk about the hormones!! It is so true!!
Totally agree with DO NOT GOOGLE WHILE PREGNANT!!!
