Eufy is a decent contender for the Ring Video Doorbell Pro, Nest Hello doorbell, Arlo doorbell, and Anker doorbell in the market of video doorbells and wireless security cameras. To review these types of devices, you should also test whether video recordings contain both sides of the audio. Many brands do not (and I believe Eufy is one of them that has this issue).

@Matthew Rasmussen, thank you for this feedback! We get into this a little bit around 6:50 mins into the video with the pre-recorded messages. You can't hear them on your end during live video and there are issues with the recording playbacks as well. Thanks for highlighting and for checking out our video!

Can you make a video of how the quality looks like when your not at home and viewing it thru your phone live?

Thanks so much for the video suggestion. It actually looks and responds identically like the footage in this video when doing the audio quality test with my son at the front door. It does really well with the connection through the cellular network when you're away from home and the same wifi network. We'll try to do a quick test of this and post it as a follow up. Can you confirm what is the max time limit each video recording is? For example, when there is motion sensed, will it record for 30 sec, 1 min, 5min regardless if there is still motion or not? I returned the Ring after owning it for 1 week because I noticed it only recorded 30 second clips, even though I had someone at my front door for over 2 min. This is a dealbreaker for any doorbell security camera. You can be recording an intruder in front of your house and at the 1min, 1 second mark they assault you or your family outside and nothing will be recorded.
Can anyone verify the max amt time it will record from motion sensed. I asked at other forums and get all answers. Ideally it would start recording at motion sensed and stop recording when yhere is no more motion, but i know that is not possible. I know its so the battery will not drain or your memory won't be filled. Just want an answer for the Eufy 2k battery powered and hardwire versions.

Default is 120 seconds and max appears to be 300 seconds. Agree with your concerns and would make sure you select a doorbell that offers some flexibility in recording length. Thanks for watching our video and for posting your question.
