Out of all of the 4 main characters Kirk pretty much just stumbled into the whole plot by accident mostly. As far as I can tell he wasn’t really concerned or aware about the goody bandit and prior to ending up in Granny Puckett’s house didn’t even interact with any of the main characters aside from Boingo and even then only very briefly with him since he got that callback which interrupted his interaction with Boingo. It’s something I find quite amusing and somewhat fascinating I must say. The only thing about him being involved in the plot that wasn’t an accident however is him getting robbed as that was going to happen to him either way.
I don't know why, but I could've sworn when I first saw the trailer for this movie, I thought it was animated in 2D. I don't know why or how, but the only logical answer is that I was 4 when I saw the trailer.

To be fair, this movie came out in 2006, so the standards of filmmaking were different.
I like this non-fluid style, it makes the movie funnier, I think it gave the movie a charm

this movie's script is one of the best ever written for an animated
So was Robots and Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit
