Thankyou for posting this! A great talk. James is fierce, a slayer of the dark side.

Having this opening virtue signaling right before James Lyndsay comes up is absolutely hilarious.

They believe they stole the land, but I don't see them returning it. Do they actually believe what they are saying? I think not. I think they are humble bragging their superiority.

@@jeffreyscott4997 exactly, it’s just sophistry. These people wouldn’t lift a finger to help natives, so they give a little statement just to cover their asses

@@thucydides7849 I think they would, actually. It's that they would only do so in the spirit of noblesse oblige - of one in a superior position deigning to exercise pity upon the poor pathetic lowly beneath them.

The land acknowledgments make me think of someone acknowledging that they bought a stolen laptop on Craigslist, but they're not going to give it back to the known original owner because they got a good deal and want to keep it.

I'd like to hear a land acknowledgment that goes something like "We would like to begin by acknowledging that X University is located on ancestral land where Y Native American tribe went to war with Z Native American tribe for land, resources, political power and maybe women while brutalizing their enemies...".

I need to rewind, but the one guy accused Dr Lindsay's detailed exposition of Marxism "talking in circles".
The woman said her professor Isaac Gottesman would be "horrified" that Dr Lindsay cited Gottesman's book on how Marxism was rolled out and implemented throughout education, to shine a critical light on how Marxism was rolled out and implemented in education.
She did not say that Lindsay misrepresented Gottesman, just that Lindsay didn't use this writing to _celebrate_ the implementation of Marxism in education.

I highly regard James and everything he does as he tries to combat this insidious Critical Race Theory.
It was especially interesting to see the dismay (apparently) with which he was greeted by many. Or outright resistance.
Turning this impulse of communism back is not going to be easy, but we need to understand why we should push it back, and James explains why as well as anyone

A slow start, as is James's wont, but hang in there; his rebuttal is cogent and descriptive.

Somebody needs to tell James that if you have to explain a joke you’re doing something wrong.
    He does this a lot.

It’s a pity some people aren’t witty enough to get his jokes, but yes, he could dumb them down to appeal to more of the audience

Note that he’s pretty much entirely speaking off the top of his head. I’d love to see @DrKarlynB debate James since she’s the final arbiter of what Marxism is.

James should not give Karlyn the time of day. She's absolutely maniacal in her stalking of him. He's been doing this for over a decade and she's been doing it for a couple of years. She's the final arbiter of nothing.

@@poetrypainter-jv6lmcan’t say I’ve seen her specifically engaging in stalker behavior but that would make sense given her obsession with him on her streams. I could be totally wrong but he seems extraordinarily more educated on the subject than her but she speaks with such finality in her opinions/positions. Just want to see who I should be taking seriously moving forward. It would be helpful if James did a video dismantling her positions.
