I’ve ordered the Apollo neuro!! Seems the best pick between the 3 products. Sensate is basically a meditation device that you need to give some time daily to work well as they’re indent with sounds and everything. Pulsetto is weak and for some people it hurts their neck(big/obese people) Apollo neuro is just like any other watch or strap what can be worn in sleep or while working or driving. Sensate would just move and they the skin contact is disturbed making the usability weak.
@@undefeatedems9925 it’s quite effective, if used consistently. You can’t use it for more than 2 hours continuously cause you stop feeling that effect/vibration at that time. Don’t expect it to work like coffee or any other drug. You need to be aware/conscious of the vibrations or else it wouldn’t do much. You can’t workout or do some high intensity work and expect it to feel the difference. I think it’s worth the investment if you’re HRV is very low or have high stress life/career. Don’t expect coffee like effect. Coupled with this you have to do meditations and workout to get the desired state/lifestyle.
Hi Dr Jay, I have been experiencing difficulty breathing that causes anxiety , possible POTS, and PVFMS, which also VCD ... Do you think this device will benefit these conditions, although there are some side effects like hyperstimulating VC muscles and cause loss of voice with more complications by promoting more spasms on VF . Thank you for all your work
@dr. jay feldman what if you have anxiety and Bradycardia (slow heart rate) when resting? Would using this cause any potential issues with lowering the heart rate further?
does this help with dysautonomia? how can i decrease my tachy without also decreasing motility which makes gastroparesis worse?? also, its kinda weird if you use your links its 279 and if we just go thru the site, which is having a summer discount, its only 199.
Hey, is it PoTs related dysautonomia? In theory activating parasympathetic activates rest and digest - it actually stimulates gastric functions from salivating, swallow of that saliva and also movement of gut. So if it activated it might help. I found my slow GI issues and then suddenly dumping syndrome like issues on the other extreme were both improved a lot when I started midodrine for my PoTs. Might not apply for your gastroparesis as that's potentially more severe than my issues were. Good to know re discount code!
@DrJayFeldman thank you for the helpful review. How would you compare the effect of Pulsetto vs Sensate? Which would you recommend for targetting which problems. Like maybe Sensate is better at getting you sleep better or Pulsetto is better at targeting ADHD problems. Maybe worth a separate video. Thanks
Hello , greetings from Turkey, my wife has epilepsy and uses 4 different medications, but there is still no full recovery. Will this vagus nerve stimulation device work on my wife?
Um... Trans-Auricular and Tragus are all referring to ear location for vagus nerve stimulation... All the research you point to is using and earclip & TENS device, which is MUCH cheaper than the Pulsetto
Amofit didn't work for me. Plus you have to wear it for hours at a time. VeRelief Prime works AMAZINGLY. However, it broke after only 2.5 months and they had to send me a replacement. I'm hoping that was just a one-off. I intend to try Pulsetto at some point, as it uses TaVNS like VeRelief does.
Hi, I have periodic limb movement disorder. I have involuntary random, very aggressive moves that are uncontrollable at night time which disrupts my sleep immensely. Do you think this device would help me? I do feel like my cortisol levels are very high, and my spine always feels like it’s vibrating uncomfortably. Thank you.
I got a pulsetto and it just used it for the first time tonight but it shocked me and made a little pop sound which scared the shit out of me - so I immediately stopped it because I’m terrified of frying my vagus nerve. I also had it on intensity 1 and I could very clearly feel the current, not painful but the feeling was clear and distinct. Did that shock occur due to improper application of the electrode gel? Do I need to coat the electrode with it as well as coat my neck? Furthermore I only used the left electrode as I know there are reports of negative outcomes with vagus nerve stimulation via implants on the right side. It seems that these outcomes don’t occur for stimulation from the right side via devices that are outside the body - but I saw no reason to risk it. Furthermore, when pushing the “stop” button you then have to select a reason for why you are stopping before it actually stops. A very weird choice by the creators and a potential safety hazard. I have no idea why they wouldn’t just stop the current immediately and then prompt you to tell them why you are stopping. I will definitely be contacting them regarding that because getting shocked and then the pulsetto not immediately stopping when I pushed the stop button… that definitely did not decrease my anxiety in general or my anxiety regarding the product. I want to try it again but I am concerned regarding the initial shock and I am also concerned about the intensity I felt at intensity level 1. Did I do something wrong? I wish there was a physical way to modulate the intensity on the device rather than via the app as I have no way of verifying that the intensity if correct. I am a biomedical / chemical engineer and I also have hyperadrenergenic POTS that I believe is a result of a hyperactive sympathetic nervous system and corresponding dysfunction of my parasympathetic nervous system. I hope to jump start my parasympathetic nervous system through vagus nerve stimulation but I am very nervous after the experience I had with the pulsetto. I have no way of verifying the magnitude of the current being applied. I had been hopeful that the magnitude at intensity 1 would be so low that I would be unable to feel it - which would have been a good starting point but that was definitely not the case for me. I may end up returning it. I will contact the company tomorrow to try and get some answers but if anyone here can tell me anything useful please please do.

BUT this is NOT transauricular stimulation. The anatomical location is completely different. Have they compared transauricular with the Pulsetto’s anatomical location (more trans- laryngeal)??
Would a “tens 7000” unit offer assistance given the placement of your unit? Cost is a huge factor for me at this time and I have the tens. I am trying to stimulate the vagus nerve to improve my ability to swallow. Diagnosed with Achalasia and want to avoid surgery.
Does this device work with my phone on airplane mode and stop Bluetooth once the app starts sending the pulse? Or does the Bluetooth and or WiFi need to be on the whole time you are using the device? I do not want EMF blasting into my neck and to vagus nerve.
Worth noting there is a difference between transcutaneous auricular VNS (stimulation to the auricular branch of the vagus nerve) vs. transcutaneous cervical VNS (stimulation through the skin of the neck, like the Pulsetto device).
I don't feel anything from it, even on max setting. It's flashing purple when running a session, so I know it's connected to the app. Guess I got scammed.
I wonder if the amofit S is good as well. I am tapering down benzo and sometimes I get serious insomnia and anxiety.. and it's almost impossible to bear.
I wasn't taking much Ativan but coming off it was tough. I had two nights of little sleep. The third night I was super tempted to go back but glad I didn't. Sleep got better and returned to normal soon after but you have to get the anxiety in check first.
Just wanted to say, I tried the Amofit S, it helped for 1 day and then it actually (I think) made my chest anxiety worse.. and it didn't get better. I used it all the time, the team said maybe I should try to use it only for 5-10-15 minutes a day or so, but it didn't have any effect.
I began having seizures after receiving 3 Covid vax. I’m 70 and have always been healthy! Finally got to the point that meds weren’t controlling them so I’m getting a VNS implant. Will that control anxiety too ? I hope so. Bc these seizures have made my life miserable 😭

Not very convinced by the protocol. A brain can change, but not from one session to the next. What's more, you don't know muse's calming algorithms, so it's not too rigorous. I suggest you measure the hrv, which is a much more relevant indicator of the health of the vagus nerve
Hey Jacksonas, the intensity needed/wanted depends on each person, based on their tolerance to the feeling, getting used to it, etc. We recommend find the intensity setting that works best for you. :)
A couple hundred bucks but you have to continually buy the gel which is like buying an inexpensive razor and having to buy expensive blades over and over again. I'm sure there must be another gel you could bet cheaper at your local drug store.
Agreed that nnEMFs have an affect on health, but Bluetooth is a very weak signal, and 5 minutes is a short amount of time.
