35:44 that new Genghis head is hilariously animated 3D art perfection! Comedy gold right there man, comedy gold. Just having that thing slowly peek up and stare at you with the Tex Avery/Ren & Stimpy sound effect playing will bring pure joy to your heart. *The new Napoleon head totally looks like a mudskipper. Well, I think that's what most of them looked like with this later appearance. But yeah, it'd be cool if we got additional heads for both looks...like in a cartoon accessory pack 2.0, or just a straight up expression pack.
Haha yeah I can totally see that crazed look being on both. When I looked at Genghis’ head at distance in that Napoleon punching Leatherhead shot I thought he looked a little like Wander Mcmooch from Fraggle Rock.
Definitely one of if not the best tmnt toy line of all time. Simply because even though we all love the movies, the comics and all other cartoon versions of tmnt the franchise wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for the 87 cartoon. Admittedly I still watch it to this day as silly as it is. Its a constant reminder of not taking life so seriously as today's generations.
Another Great Review. Yeah I was surprised with the price I was expecting 39.99 and when it was $50+ I was like 😬. But definitely a cool addition especially if you have the punk frogs. When the bomb went off and he went flying 😂😂😂 Really enjoy when you make little scenarios like that.
36:39 that's actually a shot from the debut episode for the punk frogs. It's happens after they robbed the bank and Genghis tells : "Now we have to take over the cityyy?". So he is a bit crazed at that moment. And the frightened head is from the collosus of the swamps and Dirk Savage episodes. Also, like I said in your Napoleon/Attila review, I thought that they would have been included the muta-shooter in it, since it was made back in 2020 (it was shown on the SDCC display). So it took them so many years to finally release it - that's strange. As for the figure itself - it's great (although has some waist issues as you pointed out), but it's too big for my shelf. We've got to the point where it's much harder to place the figures rather than hunt them down. And that's not so great, since this pack has three "must-have" accessories, but the wideness - golly. I'll have to think if I should buy it or not. I mean, Rex-1 was another giant from this year, but he was a unique character with a bunch of accessories, a couple of episodes, videogame and being a cool rip-off from you know who. But Napoleon basically the same character with just one appearance, a very few accessories and kinda boring knock-off from the Hulk. Anyway, this is a very nice review with a lot of details and wonderful shots (also I like how you're making a stop motions now instead of photos, which kinda reminds me of Radical Retro turtle toy talk from PopCultureNetwork) as always, so thank you for it.

I started awhile ago trying to make an ongoing narrative with the action shots, but pretty recently I decided to start moving them if I can. It’s a lot of fun and I get to use my skills as a storyboard artist to make them. I probably won’t always do it because it takes so much time, but I absolutely loved the new heads and the clip wrote itself. I havent seen radical retro turtle toy talk so I’ll have to check him out. I mean between your job, all your projects, NECA alone releasing eight new figures every other month, it's just ridiculously overwhelming. I mean we always got Nostalgia Unboxed and Mad Hatter, but I'm always pointing out in their reviews that Raz Rentals is the one dude that knows absolutely everything!
Man I appreciate it! Things were pretty crazy a few months ago so I’m glad to try to work through this huge pile of stuff I have. I do think Neca is releasing too much at once every three months. Just release a couple things every other month. Both in March and June the Tmnt merchandise was insane. Put out some other brands stuff for a little bit haha.

A weapon that's more cumbersome and useless than nunchucks. ...but it's not the weapon, it's the frog that wields it you say? Welp, _Attlia the Useless_ didn't get his name by coincidence.
Yeah it’s Atilla. All the other frogs use their weapons at different points in the show. He does nothing at all except hand the Shredder some sacks of money.
I really love the uniformity when it comes to the VHS boxes, so geez, what a bummer that NECA decided to screw all that up with this one. Like, why is the box _sooooo_ deep? It doesn't remotely need to be that deep. Then there's the width; they didn't need to make it so wide. Could've fit in the standard width box...cause if Chrome Dome can fit without them making the box taller, they can fit Napoleon without making the box wider. Then you got the biggest offender, the height! There's been two heights this whole time: the regular, and the large. So why oh why did they make this box (that contains a figure _way_ shorter than Chrome Dome) nearly a quarter of an inch taller? I'm just gonna chalk it up to some issue with the factory, and NECA didn't get the chance to correct it. Just another blatant and odd thing that no one dare speaks of 🤫.
It wouldn't be a Neca figure without something being wrong with it. Maybe a little extra paint hardened around that rim would help toghten it up a bit to stay on better.

3:51 A missed opportunity with the caterpillar (before and after) figurines not being included. That definitely would've made the $10+ overpriced figure more palatable. I mean that price in today's climate (especially compared to hasbro & super7) is reasonable, but not when you compare it to the actual company that's making it. So yeah, I would really love a reasoning on why they priced _this particular figure_ so high. Or why do they charge $150 for the 4-packs, when you can get two way more loaded out 2-packs for much less. If anything, a 4-pack (especially of redundant figures that are bare-boned) should be less than the cost of two sets of brand new tooling 2-packs that are loaded to the nines.
I actually shot a clip of the Napoleon standing next to a few larger figures, but I didn’t like what I said. I just sounded like I was rambling and for me to say that you probably know it must have been a lot of rambling haha.. The marvel legends juggernaut is roughly the same size as Napoleon. I think the recently released marvel legends rhino is built off of the same body with a few differences and he cost $40. Napoleon feels a little heavier, but he doesn’t have anywhere near the range of motion the legends have. Both brands offer little paint, but Neca at least has the shading. Legends has a lot more detail. Legends are a bigger brand so maybe them selling more allows the price to be lower. I don’t know. I wish when I purchased him he was $50 haha. That $5 annoys me now. I also got Silverhawks buzz saw and monster recently. Buzz saw was $55 too but he comes with a lot more accessories and intricate parts. Like all the rotating buzz saws. He feels a little flimsy though like he’s gonna fall over a lot and his waist has a tiny peg. Monstar is a lot taller but he feels pretty light compared to Napoleon. He was $85 and he seems like a lot more money with less than buzzsaw. Anyways, that was the most of it. At least if Napoleon was $50 that’d be closer to the legends price. I have more of a problem with the 4 packs like you said, I don’t know how the $150 price tag makes sense at all except maybe it’s more expensive to ship the larger box. I think they should be $125. It doesn’t even have as much stuff as the TID 4 pack.

It is crazy to think a Super7 or Legends figure has more of a perceived value compared to NECA. And with the whole $150 4-packs, maybe it has something to do with the retailers pushing NECA to up the price? I was thinking maybe simply due to them being the brothers, there's pressure from Playmates/Nickelodeon to give them a higher price point, but that doesn't explain the other $150 ones like the Pre-Mutation set.

Is the mutated caterpillar literally that gross and nasty to you? Just looks like a regular cute little cartoon character with a triceratops horn. Like an angry eyed flying dinosaur insect, that just wants to be your friend.....and lay eggs under your skin.
