Well it is real life heros fighting like it's not like cartoons it's live action so they'll try to make it realistic like if heroes we're real that would be happening

I get wanting characters to have darkness, depth and realistic conflicts with each other but making every superHERO on this show either an arrogant fuck, violent maniac, adulterer, drug addict or straight up awful is not the way to go. Seriously, everyone on this show is straight up nasty and belongs on the streets. Which is a shame because i also think titans has the BEST superhero costumes in terms of comic accuracy around. I love the designs.
Jason's suicide attempt episode was horrible. They all shat on him and drove him to want to jump off the tower. Then later found out the reason that got them mad at Jason in the first place was a misunderstanding. STILL, none of them acknowledge it. Like what? And we're supposed to root for them?
Drives me crazy how people dis the DC Cinematic Verse but love this show and some of the WB shows. They BVS and say, "No way Superman and Batman wouldn't do that" but they watch these shows and act like it's perfection. I'm like bro just read a comic book
It has all the ingredients to be great. Great cast, decent action sequences, great costume, they really had some great moments. However. You’re right. It is terrible. Awful writing no consistency, no consequences. Too many under developed characters. Underdeveloped relationships. Dick is a detective, then he’s not. They keep killing their characters and bringing them back. They use concepts that comic book fans will know like ARGUS, Cadmus Labs, the Lazarus Pit without explaining them for this audience. They keep breaking up the group for stupid reasons. Characters randomly hooking up and pairing off so there are no compelling couples. Too many ideas, not well executed. Dick kryponiting Connor to stop him helping him. Likeable actors, extremely unlikable characters. Character motivations unclear. Characters do not seem to develop or grow. They blew through one of the best villains rosters in all of comics, Blackfire, Slade, Trigon, Dr Light, Gizmo. It’s a shame, Titans could be excellent.
Get writers who know the characters & will do write by them I'll bet there were a couple who did throw their ideas into the ring but was shot down quick. After that they were like "If this is how my ideas for a great story is going to be treated I'm not contributing anymore I'm not going to let some other lousy writer take credit for my work." To which I would've walked out of the room taking my great ideas with me fans commenting on UA-cam have better ideas so much that they decide to make their own fan made movies or series. Cleary showing up what Hollywood should be doing Henry Cavil who knew about the Witcher knew where he wanted the character to go but instead of heading his advice he gets fired poor guy. Then he isn't brought back as Superman what a bummer.
Season 1 gave poor Teagan the worst wig for her performance of Raven. Half of the scenes are made laughable because I can’t stop staring at the awful wig they thought was okay.
What I know about these titans so far: 1. Robin: a murderous boy wonder 2. Starfire: a race-swapped character who shoots actual fire 3. Beast boy: a miniature version of the hulk who can only turn into one animal 4. Raven: a character who is not like herself in the comics and the original tv show 5. Cyborg: WHERE THE HELL IS CYBORG?!

Season 3 could have been good. I thought Scarecrow was a good antagonist and thought there would be a Hannibal Lector-esque quality. The Season should have been built around Fear and overcoming it Jason - how his fear overcame him and turned him into a villain Dick - fear of losing another team mate/friend after Donna Gar - fear of being a weak link in the team Connor - fear of being evil due to his Lex Luther side Kory- fear of facing her sister and the past she escaped on Tameran Komand’r- fear of never fulfilling her destiny and wasting her life Rachel - fear of her growing powers Barbara - fear of never living up to her father Hank - the fear of losing Dawn Dawn - the fear of her whole life being about vigilantism and never being able to move on Tim - the fear of not being enough to protect his family (For example - insert your own - you probably have better ideas than me) The season could have culminated in Scarecrow being the big bad a manipulating Jason from the shadows while pretending to be helping Dick, releasing his fear toxin and leading to a final confrontation in Arkham Asylum where the Titans fear their fear and having to fight their way through the inmates to get to Crane.
I hated this show when it was out, now it might be the worst superhero show. Scarecrow and Red Hood were completely bitched out and made worthless. Scarecrow only succeeds in his stupid plan because the Titans with SUPERBOY and STARFIRE, suck so badly. It's like they go out of their way to test how bad they can write on a TV show.
As someone who is a fan of the titans with their long history of a group of young sidekick to the justice league to show that they are just as worthy as they are, to huge family of different characters from different backgrounds both figuratively and literally. I find this show very disappointing.

Side note: season 3’s writing is the best of the series so far. It’s not GOOD by any means but at the very least there’s been some slow improvement, and maybe if they took their time with the show instead of rushing it, it would be a lot better than the mess it is
Back when season 2 just ended i had an idea for redhood so Jason would still die in s3 but stay dead for the rest of the season and in s4 have redhood appear as villain but not the main like his own thing then by the end of the season start his redemption arc that leads into so where we get the redhood we all know and love
This show has the worst writers ever, like what was the deal with Jason Todd looking out the window and computer code was scrolling in his eyes in the middle part of season 2, for a good Teen Titans show look at Young Justice.

Was happy to see live action Titans. These stories are based on the comic where then titans are more of a family than a team. The writers never got that concept or the core of the characters who were good and caring fighting against family members who were bad to the bone.

The flashback episode to Hawk and Dove's origin does a horrible job making viewers sympathize with them. They violent, lack empathy, and refuse to take responsibility for their actions yet the episode still wants audiences on their side.

I just want to know how and why they fucked up the time line, and why bruce is a really bad parent. Plus I don't really understand why they picked Red hood as their main villain in season 3 when his villain arc has nothing to do with the titans. Red Hoods whole reason for reading vengeance was ruined. Another thing is that there are to many things going on in one season and they just pause one of the things to make an episode on the other and then they pause that to continue with something else. Last thing that comes to mind rn is how they fucked up Tim's background, with his family life and how he's like a rich kid in the comics and that he's low-key a stalker. I really don't like this show and am only watching it with my sister cuz she wants to, I am a Red hood fan and this really makes me want to cry and die at the same time :(
I was just saying this, I really hated everything about titans ever since the first season. Especially cause they made raven weak as fuck AGAIN. Where is the raven that was knowledgeable about her powers, her father, and his plan to destroy the world. The raven that had to trick the titans via empathy/telepathy to form a group because the justice league refused to help her??? Not some fucked up orphan who can’t control her powers. I’m tired of this narrative even tho it is a reoccurring one for raven. At least in the comics she is prepared and capable enough to fight off her fathers influence. I’m also so tired of what they keep doing to starfire… she’s supposed to be one of the more capable titans and one of her defining traits is that she’s comedically clueless about earth and that’s part of the charm that makes her interesting… not only that she’s a fucking mess every time I see her on the screen she’s always in some situation away from the titans and just fucked up. Her powers are constantly off and on and she looks like she’s struggling every time she uses them. Gar well, he’s okay other than the fact he only turns into a fucking tiger most of the time. Another gripe is that they brought so many characters in and didn’t do shit with them. In each of these seasons they had so much potential to write a well adapted story around the original characters that could span more than 5 seasons.. They went through so much material and shoved it into one season each and called it a day. Trigon needed to be the big bad guy at the first season. Next season SLADE, then Blackfire, and scarecrow. There’s simply no direction and I feel like the production team didn’t give a shit to put effort into making quality content after the harsh criticism of the preview.

Personally I love the ADHD style, and I have never watched an episode, but i love watching videos from people exactly like you. They hate it, but they can't stop watching lol. I just can't handle edge for edges sake anymore, and I watched all of Smallville (and there is no way I could do that now...none...i mean...it was laughably so bad that it was good back when it aired tbh AND there was no MCU or Arrowverse to compare it with...sorry didn't mean for that lol). My point, i totally understand being unable to stop no matter how bad it gets...that final season of Smallville with the "New Gods" lmao and that was not all that long ago. The literal only thing I like about this show is the costume design. Red Hoods design is 🔥. This show just got so many things wrong..Dick is far too serious and not at all his cocky, quippy comic book self, Beast Boy has never had a thing for Raven, they completely missed the mark with Batman and Dick didn't leave hating Bruce there was never bad blood between them he just wanted to do his own thing...they wanted an excuse for him to be his own character and to not include Batman but they literally already had one in the source material...they they've clearly chosen to ignore. Jason is kinda accurate but at the same time the ending to season 3 is lame...
The actors and costume designs are great. And the green tiger too bad it's the only animal. Only good things about the show. Even Starfire and blackfire have good costumes I feel.

Season two was shiting on Nightwing/Robin I get the whole Jericho thing but they pretty much let Slade win Deathstroke manages to infiltrate the tower and plant objects in their room to trigger some sort of PTSD and blame Jason thinking he's playing a prank for some reason after he was tortured by Deathstroke And they keep calling themselves a family

Nostalgia for Teen Titans & Young Justice blinded me through my first watch. Upon the second watch I realized how shit it really is.

The flashback episode to Hawk and Dove's origin does a horrible job making viewers sympathize with them. They violent, lack empathy, and refuse to take responsibility for their actions yet the episode still wants audiences on their side.

She is firmed and professional, telling the two fighting in the library was wrong and needed to write apology letters to the students they harmed or get expelled. I honsetly thought at the end of season 2 the 3rd season would be decent with beast boy trying to get over his trauma of being kidnapped and made into a animal....... and super boy trying to find out who or what he is, finding what his purpose is and learning about his powers and back story but instead they say fuck you and skip all of it in season 3........plus red hood looks so ridiculous...... the actor is perfect for robin but him as red hood especially this early is so Damm dumb...... that jacket doesn't even fit his short big headed ass lol

I just want to know how and why they fucked up the time line, and why bruce is a really bad parent. Plus I don't really understand why they picked Red hood as their main villain in season 3 when his villain arc has nothing to do with the titans. Red Hoods whole reason for reading vengeance was ruined. Another thing is that there are to many things going on in one season and they just pause one of the things to make an episode on the other and then they pause that to continue with something else.
Last thing that comes to mind rn is how they fucked up Tim's background, with his family life and how he's like a rich kid in the comics and that he's low-key a stalker.
I really don't like this show and am only watching it with my sister cuz she wants to, I am a Red hood fan and this really makes me want to cry and die at the same time :(

I think they made batman a bad parent because so many of the fandom and other miscellaneous comics act like he is such.
I was just saying this, I really hated everything about titans ever since the first season. Especially cause they made raven weak as fuck AGAIN. Where is the raven that was knowledgeable about her powers, her father, and his plan to destroy the world. The raven that had to trick the titans via empathy/telepathy to form a group because the justice league refused to help her??? Not some fucked up orphan who can’t control her powers. I’m tired of this narrative even tho it is a reoccurring one for raven. At least in the comics she is prepared and capable enough to fight off her fathers influence. I’m also so tired of what they keep doing to starfire… she’s supposed to be one of the more capable titans and one of her defining traits is that she’s comedically clueless about earth and that’s part of the charm that makes her interesting… not only that she’s a fucking mess every time I see her on the screen she’s always in some situation away from the titans and just fucked up. Her powers are constantly off and on and she looks like she’s struggling every time she uses them. Gar well, he’s okay other than the fact he only turns into a fucking tiger most of the time. Another gripe is that they brought so many characters in and didn’t do shit with them. In each of these seasons they had so much potential to write a well adapted story around the original characters that could span more than 5 seasons.. They went through so much material and shoved it into one season each and called it a day. Trigon needed to be the big bad guy at the first season. Next season SLADE, then Blackfire, and scarecrow. There’s simply no direction and I feel like the production team didn’t give a shit to put effort into making quality content after the harsh criticism of the preview.
I didn't think it could get worse after TTGO, but it did.

Personally I love the ADHD style, and I have never watched an episode, but i love watching videos from people exactly like you. They hate it, but they can't stop watching lol. I just can't handle edge for edges sake anymore, and I watched all of Smallville (and there is no way I could do that now...none...i mean...it was laughably so bad that it was good back when it aired tbh AND there was no MCU or Arrowverse to compare it with...sorry didn't mean for that lol).
My point, i totally understand being unable to stop no matter how bad it gets...that final season of Smallville with the "New Gods" lmao and that was not all that long ago. I wonder if any Smallville alums are on the Titans Production Team lol

The literal only thing I like about this show is the costume design. Red Hoods design is 🔥. This show just got so many things wrong..Dick is far too serious and not at all his cocky, quippy comic book self, Beast Boy has never had a thing for Raven, they completely missed the mark with Batman and Dick didn't leave hating Bruce there was never bad blood between them he just wanted to do his own thing...they wanted an excuse for him to be his own character and to not include Batman but they literally already had one in the source material...they they've clearly chosen to ignore. Jason is kinda accurate but at the same time the ending to season 3 is lame...
