DC's TITANS is such a mess that it's ridiculous and because season 3 of TITANS is right around the corner, I thought I'd revisit the show. You guessed it, it was a terrible idea because TITANS is much worse than I remember. Terrible storytelling, writing and pacing combine into one end result: wishing that TITANS was better. Enjoy 20 minutes of me ranting about this show and it's stupid "creative decisions"!

The biggest sin this show commits isn't the way it ignores source material, the terrible mischaracterizations or the plain bad pacing, writing or camera work. But the biggest sin this show commits is that it's simply BORIINNGGGGG.

LOL it's that's it's just so boring. Scene are so much longer than they need to be, or just shouldn't even be there in the first place, like practically every Hawk and Dove scene. I understand they're trying to get you attached to these characters and develop them and their relationships and stuff, but the execution for it is just the equivalent of listening to 2 people chat in the grocery store about sales or something. There's so much pointless chat that goes nowhere
@@sparkleygrapes I AGREE!!! Hawk and Dove feel so pointless even in the latter half of the show. Everything feels just so pointless, everything feels so half-assed, so unfleshed out and it's all just so incredibly bad on all ends besides the visuals man. I WANT the show to be good but it feels like mission impossible for them. I can't understand why they refuse to get it right!

The pacing is so off, and they should've had him become night wing at the end of season 1.
Originally they planned to. They planned to wrap up the Trigon plot in season one, include the Doom Patrol in the final battle, along with Batman. But they decided to cut alot.
@@KapturAmericaDumbest decision they could’ve made. Because that would’ve actually been pretty cool and way better than what we got. Except for including Batman. He’s not really needed, plus the actor they got for him did not fit the role at all.

Watching season 1 made me wonder why they didn’t just make a night wing show or hell a bat family show. It sucks cause I couldn’t even finish season 2 and I wanted to see Robin become Nightwing
The fact that Conner hasn’t even met both Lex or Clark in three seasons will never not annoy me

Looking forward to the Season 3 video. Maaaaan, it started off decent but damn, it starts to get really stupid as it goes. Plus it seems like some of the previous plots that came before it didn't even happen.

but as you go on watching the later episodes it gets worse, worse and even worse

I don't know why I keep watching this show. I don't enjoy it and it's so fucking cringe. I guess I keep expecting it to get good. I do love Starfire and Black fire tho.
That's what so many fans say, it's hilarious. People either question why the hell they're even watching it still and the other half are people who have an undying love for Titans. It's so weird to me considering the show has so many flaws and it's so blatant that they're not trying to fix any of them any time soon lol

I'm working through my sequel video for Titans S3 and uh, yeah, it hasn't gotten any better. I don't understand the direction or trajectory this show is attempting to go towards. This show has no consistency, no positive traits and it's a continuous one step forward, two steps back type of situation.
Glad I have doom patrol though 😁😁😂😂 dc best adaptation of the titans comics will always be for the time being will always be teen titans when is dc gonna except that and give the S6 I don't why they won't do it
Hawk and Dove are so stupid. Teen Titans became a group of whiny teenagers with telenovela dialogue.
I think the first season was pretty alright and pretty good, but something that bothers me about season 2 especially is that it feels like alot of the team is just kinda doing nothing, or everyones fucked off and are doing their own thing even though superboy was introduced really only beast boy knows him. So when superboy is under cadmus's control, there's no "Connor! we know you're in there!" moment because beast boy is under control too, so Dove, starfire and wondergirl are just like "I guess we shouldn't kill him". and for the keeping team members out of the fight, there the final fight with deathstroke which kinda felt underwhelming. Like cool Dicks nightwing and Rose is here but like the rest of the team is just dicking around in the car. Even when starfire's weak, Rachel, dove, and donna could have helped take deathstroke out. Rachel I feel doesn't really do anything the most. Even though shes really powerful, she seems to have this thing where she can't fight like shes the teams support. Its frustrating to have this character with cool powers do absolutely nothing even though shes supposed to be training

While, yes this is an absolutely fair opinion, I tend to give Titans more shit because Titans has so much potential but the people running the show refuse to grow or learn from people's criticisms. It's almost like the show is purposely bad (such as the show runners specifically choosing to not use Beast Boy often, even the actor has spoken about this). Everything in theCW is mid or just straight up bad but theCW shows are fully aware of this and they even make fun of themselves sometimes. Due to this, I can't give theCW as much shit as I'd like to give it. However, your opinion is more than fair and I absolutely don't blame you for having it.

To be fair, this is an old video of mine from months ago. Things have changed a lot since (quality wise)! I totally understand trust me, it’s why I pivoted to different music not too long ago (plus I learned new mic settings since then so the quality is also much better lol)

Titans was an excellent superhero drama.
Just too adult oriented for the fans who can't accept any version of these characters other than the saccharine versions you grew up with in the late 90's and early 2000's.
Titans doesn't suck... you all just don't get it.

You know, I wasn’t too mad at season 2 but the way they killed Donna really pissed me off. She was jus taking punches from superboy but dies from an electric pole. Also superboy was jus shown to be literally faster than a speeding bullet but couldn’t catch that? He could of at least run over and help her before she got fried. It was such a lazy way to kill a main character. At least have death stroke kill her or something

Agree with everything you said, except you forgot to mention one thing: the introduction of this universe’s Batman. Holy shit Ian Glenn is a terrible Bruce Wayne lol. Probably the worst I’ve ever seen in live action, actually. The actor himself isn’t a bad actor and I know he was in Game of Thrones and was apparently good in that (never watched it myself), but this isn’t the role for him lol. When they first aired that S2 trailer and I heard his voice and saw him walking with Dick, I literally thought he was Alfred. That role would’ve actually suited him better since he’s older (or at least looks older) and is from the UK. I could tell because he was terrible at hiding his natural accent a lot of times 😂 Not to mention he’s like the least athletically built Bruce Wayne I’ve seen since Keaton. Like, they really expected us to believe that this was the same guy that was in the bat suit in Dick’s dream at the end of S1 😂

Unfortunately, I didn’t learn about this until it was way too late to reupload the video. The good news, however, is that I’ve learned to be more conscious of this in my newer videos which included a sequel to this video as well!
I was gonna hold off on this video until Friday but with the new trailer dropping today, releasing this video today felt like the right thing to do. Remember though, this is just my opinion and if you disagree that's perfectly fine!

I Enjoyed the Show, It had a lot of flaws and the pacing was off, But hey, It's Unique compared to the other Titans show, The Darker tone was not really as bad as people say it is, It's the only live action Titans show we have, Might as well enjoy it for what it is, No one wants to live by just judging things 24/7, Might as well enjoy life as while as you can
You're not wrong, in fact, I like your train of thought. However, I just WISH this show was so much better. I WISH it was great and it's a shame because if they took in our criticisms already (which have been prevalent since post season one), this show would be KILLING it
