READY FOR THE SODIUM VIDEO!!!! I eat around 2500mg and I am curious on your thoughts of that. It's crazy to see the amount of sodium in processed foods.
Burpees, push up mountain climber combo, jump rope, bike... I for example love buff dudes punisher workout it always kicks my ass. No joke it can replace going to the gym unless you really need to hit the back.
I thought I was going crazy when I started eating a lot of fast food in 2017 and I gained 15LB in about 2 months and I felt like puking on a regular basis The bloat is absolutely unfun for me and I want to avoid bloat completely Clean Bulking For The Win 🏆
Thank you for finally pointing out that sodium during a bulk needs to be controlled. So many videos I've seen never mention this and yet when bulking with the increased food volume, and high carbohydrate intake high sodium makes inflammation and bloating so much worse so sodium intake is probably something you should be even more aware of in your program. Anecdotally I've seen it impede workout performance on a bulk because your body is much better at retaining sodium, and water, in a calorie surplus you probably could function better with less than what you're taking in when dieting; just a hunch though.
Right on time for me alpha. I'm barely 5'6 and finally hit my ideal weight of 160. Only problem is I get bloated WAY more now. Ironically I look bigger. I think my biggest issue is drinking. Probably diet too lol. I'm trying to incorporate my discipline again but real life makes that shit hard. Thanks man!
Whole foods are the way to go. Currently I'm doing OMAD, one huge ~1500kcal meal a day is doing wonders. Currently 215lbs started at 230lbs and goal is around 190lbs. Loving the content Alex
@Spinach and Scenery Most peoples issues with bloat is digestion related or too excess in calories.. Bloating of the face or midsection is what most people get annoyed with I'd imagine
Hi Alex, I have been bulking but have started to get fat. I got recommended (by a bodybuilder) to stay in a slight caloric surplus whilst adding in some cardio to shift the fat before I start lean bulking again. Thoughts on this? cheers
Alex, in your video "I'm Back" from four months ago you said you were going back to posting more workout videos and posting less filler content. Since then you've only uploaded four workout videos (of which three were arm workouts), so I was wondering what's up with that. Based on the number of views on your videos I think it's clear your subscribers enjoy workout videos the most. Not hating at all, just curious.
Life happens, some things I can't explain atm. That said I think I've done a good job at eliminating much of the filler content, hence the tutorials and less repetitive videos. You're right though, viewers prefer workout segments which I will post more of very soon.
Yo Alex you should make a vid on a 30 day shadow boxing challenge , maybe just teaching bros how to be more functional Thought you be interested mate 🤙
Ok hold on Alex, no bloating from a clean bulk? This is stupid, most of the time we get bloated from too much fiber, when bulking the best way to avoid the bloat is to keep your fiber the same, and increase the amount of calorie dense food. More simple carbs, more fat. You can’t eat 5000-6000 calories of clean food without feeling horrible, you need to swap out the brown rice for simple carbs, swap out the lean protein for fattier red meats and skin on chicken and fish, and you don’t need to eat a bunch of veggies. Just eat the recommended amount for the average adult and add in a multivitamin and a greens shake
How do you calculate calorie surplus? I'm eating 2800-3200 cals a day. Clean. 5 eggs, oats with protein, 1/2 cup of vitamin d milk, for breakfast with 14 oz of water and monohydrate. My bulk is clean but no sure why I have slight bloat.
Band OHP is incredible and btn is next level for shoulder gains however it's dangerous (due to anthropometry not mobility) so I don't recommend that exercise
I was on a calorie deficit for a while, I've gone back to weight maintenance for the past two weeks and I was planning stepping on a 5-10% surplus intake but I am already bloating. Any advice?
@@AlexLeonidas Nice to hear that. My main goal is to increase my broad jump so I am going to milk high box squat gains or do you know anything more effective?
@Spinach and Scenery My mother has a house and I could train there in a backyard, however, I visit her only about twice a month because she lives far away from me.
@@AlexLeonidas thanks for you response. I dont know how the concurrent periodization works, what I have to consider? I would happy if you can help me. Greetings from germany
Eat a lottt, consistent carbs and protein everyday, and add a rep onto each set of your bench until you can get your current weight from 5×5 to 7×5, then add maybe 2.5kg or 5kg, start at 3×5, until 4×5 to 5×5 to 6×5 7×5 etc.
@@zaziro concurant periodization is basically switching exercises every 1-3 weeks (I recommend every 3 weeks cause you are intermediate) and having one intensity day and one volume day for bodypart . Search up Alex's videos you will understand it better
eating very clean made me extremely depressed and almost made me quit working out all together... eating way more junk/candy with more fats and carbs and less protein (80-100g), gave me way more energy and now i feel not only great, but always satisfied. I eat only one meal a day, but i enjoy that meal so much. I even eat some cookies for dessert. My main priority is to stay within the daily calorie limit, then i make sure i get just about enough protein.
OVERCOME72 that’s fair but bloating is a sign of not being able to digest what all your eating. Why put that extra stress on the body so that it has to allocate all its energy to digestion when it can better put to use building muscle ? Bloating is never good no matter what
