EP 158 -Major M588 SSB CB radio - some mods and testing.
Major M588 SSB CB radio received as part of a batch, found in decent condition.
Modifications discovered, including a capacitor dropper and FM audio adjustments.
Planned modifications discussed to update the radio.
Final modifications detailed, including component removal and installation of FM audio VCO.
Demonstration of radio functionality post-modification, with improved frequency alignment and sensitivity.
Conclusion: Another successful radio restoration project completed.

Yeah, I remember having a Multimode 2 and Jumbo getting the mod done for the low-bass audio. Love the vlogs, wish my knowledge of electronics was as good as yours.
