I have been a fan of Julian's since his first song was released and one of my dreams was to see him in concert. When I was in my late 20's that opportunity came up. He played in a small venue in Portland Oregon and I think it was the best concert I have ever been to.

I really like Julian, seems he had alot in life to deal with, a gentle soul, every time I see him I think he's a lovely human I can tell... Jean Liverpool
The part of Julian Lennon's story that really reaches me is the grace with which he has moved through the world in light of all he's been through. He endured the pain of an absent father, bullying from peers, faced the stinging unfairness of knowing his father was CAPABLE of being a dad but just didn't do it for HIM. When Julian expressed his artist's heart in the '80s, all anyone could do is react to his much he sounded like his father. Then, to square with looking and sounding like the father who wasn't there for him, the loss of most of the mementos of what relationship he DID have with John.... It's a LOT. He's had to navigate through a very difficult and bitter journey, but he came through it and is a total class act. He's truly an inspiration and role model.
There is no rock star ego with Julian. Being the son of one of the most celebrated musicians of the century is a mixed blessing. He obviously had access to connections in the music industry that the rest of us will never have, but then he will be constantly compared to an impossible standard that no one can ever live up to. Luckily, he has the talent to pull it off. Cynthia raised him well.

A very interesting interview ! How Julian came to make this album and the messages of hope and gratitude ❤🙏🏻I wish to this great artist all the success he deserves 👏🏻
Julian is a great all round good bloke. Great musician, multi-talented, and so completely down to earth. Just a regular guy. He was standing next to me at a check-in for a flight from London to New York just after 'Too late for Good Byes' had broken through, and we are within a couple of days the same age. April 1963. I smiled and nodded, and he smiled and nodded back, but I left it at that.... which when I think back I regret. I doubt Julian even remembers, but even then he was just so unassuming, it almost felt rude to intrude and start a conversation when he was just getting on with his life...
I love that he's so well versed on all subjects.....but he also has that childlike presence in his honesty....he came into his own finally and I applaud him. God knows he'd been through so much in his life. Beautiful interview ❤
We really like the new album. BMG has done some great stuff. Love what they do and have done, ie-Gary Moore, Iron Maiden, etc. Their packaging is fantastic.🎧
Interesting how carefully they danced around any reference to his old man. Not once were the words "dad, father, john. or beatle" ever uttered in this interview. I like it. Refreshing to see an interviewer stick to the subject and talk about the matter at hand.
I’m Jules age, so we’ve grown up in basically the same world. The 80s were the best! Music was alive! Stuff was great. We were all rooting for each other. I get it. Time goes on. We’re still here….kinda watching…what’s going on…it’s weird, but it’s a miracle how stuff works. 💙 I grew up, watching the apple go round and round to “hey Jules” everything goes around and round…😅 still.
Talented guy, polite & modest considering Dad’s fame, clearly his own man, well done Cynthia…

I’d really like to see Julian work with McCartney- I see Paul’s optimism
Paul and Julian beamed at each other.
Julian and Sean should own John's songs if you ask me.

Julian Lennon appears to be a very well adjusted and thoughtful human being.
It is a pity he did not become a father, because he would have been a wonderful dad.
The album is fantastic!!! I think it's his masterpiece! Hope we get to hear more from him...PLH-ELB
Nice to see ya Julian. Peace & Love from Sweden

Tha no you for your like.
Thank you kind soul for sharing
Julian rocks, his dad would be so f**king proud of the beautiful souls that him and his brother Sean became.
I think he might be disappointed neither married or had kids. But I am sure he is proud.
Love Julian. His father must be so proud of him. I'm sure he's his guardian angel. Bless you Julian.
He abandoned him, you know. Do you know?
@@aalexjohna they ended on good terms, John loved him no matter what.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful interview with the best humanitarian of this planet 🌎 with all his fabulous artistic skills he shares with the world 🌎; Mr. Julian Lennon ❤️🙏. I love him from the beginning days of Valotte until now with his new album Jude 🖤🤍. And every album made in between those two albums. I'm so glad BMG eventually could convince him to make a new album and I certainly do hope so it won't be his last, because he is such a talented musician and singer songwriter. Although I do love his photography work also a lot. But his music makes me happy and gives me the strenght to keep up with life and these strange days we live in at the moment and I bless him for being there with his music and all other good things he does in life with his White Feather Foundation, his photography, writing children's books and filming documentaries ❤️🙏. He's the BEST and deserves all the love and credits in the world for his artistic skills ❤️🙏
His voice is very much like his dad's. Lovely man, great interview.
I love this man. Beautiful inside and out!!!
Hello Gladys,

Thanks for all your love and support, also for being an amazing fan.
It's nice meeting you here
@Julian Lennon Hello Julian. Thank you for the very nice post. I have to be honest, I don't know your music but sincerely intend to learn.
I repeat and repeat your youtube singing IMAGINE for Ukraine.
Every day, I wake up to see if President Zelinski is still alive. My heart is so heavy with sadness that Putin attacked Ukraine for no reason at all.
@@julianlennon08 Would you mind sending me information on how to get to your body of music.

He’s still so handsome☺
@@julianlennon572 Friend, I know it’s a thing, but you shouldn’t pretend you’re Julian. You could have just tipped your hat as whomever you really are. Wishing you peace and love🙏🕊
@@julianlennon572 Well, if you are Julian, my bf took our pic so many years ago and I lost it. Well, it’s somewhere. Yes, I’ll pretend it’s you, and that certainly puts a smile on my face. I want to work for WFF. Maybe we’ll meet again someday.😉🙏❤️🕊fyi there’s no email at end
You are so driven and multi-talented ...you certainly could do anything you set your heart and mind to. Such a funny and engaging interview Julian. ❤️
Just listened to The Lucky Ones!!! It's excellent, words, music, message - the whole package!!!
@@julianlennon572 I'm fine, thank you, and I've signed up as a subscriber and will spread the word about your album and your music. We're about the same same age, although this music can resonate with any age group. It's so nice to hear real music coming from the heart. I was looking for recently published music like this that communicates peace and understanding. We really need this message now in our world. People can tell when a person is authentic and the real deal. We need more of this kind of artistry. Thank you for remaining true to yourself and true to your talent!
@@julianlennon572 Ok, I will. I've noticed that really helps with building a fan base. The other thing, when you're ready, I've noticed what really works is live chats. People love those things. I don't know, you may have already done some of those. I noticed that people love those live chats, where the host talks about their work and vision and people in the chat ask questions.
@@julianlennon572 Thank you, you're very kind. I will email as soon as I can too. I'm teaching the next 3 days, but I will email, if not before, definitely this weekend. Thanks again!
Yes, sounds good!

A very interesting interview ! How Julian came to make this album and the messages of hope and gratitude ❤🙏🏻I wish to this great artist all the success he deserves 👏🏻
I could listen to Julian speak and sing all day, he's so Awesome. I love his personality, ❤️
Lovely guy
Julian is a great all round good bloke. Great musician, multi-talented, and so completely down to earth. Just a regular guy. He was standing next to me at a check-in for a flight from London to New York just after 'Too late for Good Byes' had broken through, and we are within a couple of days the same age. April 1963. I smiled and nodded, and he smiled and nodded back, but I left it at that.... which when I think back I regret. I doubt Julian even remembers, but even then he was just so unassuming, it almost felt rude to intrude and start a conversation when he was just getting on with his life...
Julian is a lovely young man. His mom did a wonderful job with her son. He very well educated ♥️
I never got over "Much toooo Late for Goodbyesss" even my mother loved it...and that says a lot!!!!
That was a beautiful song loved it
Julian has a beautiful soul! And he is so grounded.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that's been playing the same four chords for a while
Thank you so much! Bought the album immediately when it was released.
Love it ❤
I love that he's so well versed on all subjects.....but he also has that childlike presence in his honesty....he came into his own finally and I applaud him.
Welcome back Julian! You were missed! Your new release is brilliant and your voice is fantastic.
It’s enough, Julian, it’s enough. You’re quite the gem.
