Beautifully stated. Too bad his father didn't know him better. John's loss really. Julian certainly was the best thing John ever did possibly because John had very little to do with him other than genetics. Cynthia must have been an amazing woman. She was certainly the thing to happen to John the fact he didn't appreciate her says a lot about him - and not good. Sadly he was looking for a "mama" figure which he found in Yoko. Sad story really but Julian is the winner in it all for sure.

Julian Lennon is an awesome man. The fact that he has become his own man without his father's influence shows his strength of character. I follow him, I believe in his foundation and have spread his word through my ability as a writer. I can't say enough about this man. He's beautiful. Mother Earth has beckoned to him and he's answered in a big way. I plea for the rest of humanity to support him and help heal our world.
One year ago my father passed away, and not having him in my childhood makes me relate to Julian at this deep personal, understanding forgiveness and all the feelings he had to deal with.... Besides that, I can see the great human being he is. I love him!
I love Julian Lennon, and I have nothing but the highest respect for him. Not only is he a truly talented man in his chosen work and passions, but he is someone who also has an incredible soul and heart as a human being.
If you're still single go marry him, he needs to pass those genes on and you look like a suitable candidate.

From Philippines here. I picture Julian as an icon for the man that he chooses to be. His late father (John Lennon) had a destiny, a musician and a songwriter. Julian another human being with another life story of his own and another set of achievements too. We cannot compare father and son not even for twins. Each has its own calling. Julian a photographer, philanthropist, songwriter, ballad singer, documentary film producer and a businessman had manage to travel his own destination with conviction. He didn't wait for his luck but works hard for it...enough to gain our respect and accolade.

It just may be that Julian, while his relationship with his father was difficult, it helped him to become the wonderful, thoughtful, caring person he is today. He is his mother's son.

What a genuinely nice guy, no ego whatsoever. I suppose he cannot escape the comparisons but he has not let it define him, stayed his own man and grown into a cool artist.

I'm glad that even tho he isn't as big as his father, he's successful in his own special way. So, I hope nobody criticizes him for not being "John Lennon" because he never will be. He embraces who he is and never try to make something more of the person he could be. He's so down to earth, as far as I can tell, a very well brought up young man even with his Daddy issues and I praise Cynthia for that sensible upbringing.

His father would be so proud of him, stepping up and taking on this project and giving a lot off it for charity, I know his Mom is very proud of him. I love his music and the way he wants to reach out to the people about the environment. He is a very unique person.

Julian Lennon is a remarkable artist I remember him back in 1984 were he had his hit single "too late for goodbyes" I was 10 years old when he released that song and loved it. I have 3 male cousins not married. It's not that unusual as it used to be. We were 18 and wondering "when will I get married?" Now they think that at about 28!

Light years ahead of Sean as far as talent is concerned Julian has proven himself as having what it takes. Sean at 40 comes off with a personality and musicianship of a teenager. A very sheltered soul. If will be interesting to see what Sean does with his life after his mother dies.

Julian has the Vocal Tone of his Dad. & if u noticed Sean has the Vocal Tone of Oh-No ! Vocal Tone, is developed @ a very early age from what the Ear constantly hears around it. PS Paul in the early days of the Fab4 wuz asked how long does it take u guys 2 write a song ? & he said any where fr a 1/2 hr to a couple of wks. which blew me away. I thought they where knockin off those Gr8 Songs, during there Tea/Coffee break times. Shows how much I Know !
"Everything Changes" means so many things. Julian has had this view for decades. For instance, He might feel bitter towards his late father, but years later he can re-evaluate his opinion and feel understanding and admiration towards him. He might one day feel like being a musical artist is his legacy, but later feels his photography is his passion. Julian Lennon never fails to amaze. Just when you think you understand him he will suddenly surprise you. Such a wonderful him an being!
