I've always worn my hair short and spiky, but then the Pandemic hit and both myself and my stylist went into lockdown. It's now 3 years later and it's back to the length it was in high school. I'm 68, and have never looked good in long hair so having to deal with an 18 inch ponytail has driven me about crazy. Last fall I was searching YT for short hair cuts, and came across your pixie cut and the cowlick video. Let me tell ya, I became an instant fan! I have a big swirl at the bottom of the crown and it takes work to try and hide it. I absolutely love your haircut and your color is gorgeous on you. I'm a redhead with a blending of gray and my stylist (who also watches your vids) told me today that the color is beautiful.
I had her give me a Pixie cut, very close to yours, but with me, the first week of a new cut is all about training it to do what I want it to do. I need to put a flat iron on my Amazon wishlist- I'm still old school using curling irons. I'm so happy I watched this tut., I now know I can do so much more styling my new doo. ☮️

I wanted to love this but obviously the woman puts 50 products on her hair 8n order to make money. Seriously? I'm interested in seeing someone style with 2 products. Dry wax and hair spray are sufficient for anyone.
I feel like my hair would get greasy if I used that much product but I'm going to try it sometime. Love the hair pins.
Definitely give it try! I use less product if I am planning on doing second day hair😘
I find a a bit of dry shampoo helps if my hair is greasy and I don’t have time to wash it. It adds body, too!

Thank you so much for your sweet compliments! Yes, I do have a video on my makeup look from this video....I'll link it below😘 As for DIY highlights, these are really hard to do by yourself at home. A few years ago, I attempted to highlight my hair with a cap....the first attempt wasn't too bad but the next round was pretty awful😂

Just got mine cut yesterday & it's pretty short ~ it was 5 weeks between cuts ~ I think it starts looking hinky around 3. Anyway, it was really long & big so now it feels extremely short😂 I just thought yesterday that I need to order the Enjoy dry wax. I've always used Redken Rewind just because that's what we use at the shop. I dislike very much the way it feels in my hair & recently don't feel like it holds the crazy chaos in the back & top😁

Isn't it amazing how just that extra week between cuts can make it feel extra long....then when it's cut to the normal "short" length, it feels SO short!!😂😘 You definitely need to give the Enjoy Dry Wax a try and let me know what you think....it has such incredible hold and yet is still flexible. I found that I only spray the root lift int my hand and put it in because I have fine hair and this keeps me from putting in too much! I got my hair cut in this style and I love it!!!

I love your videos on both make up n hair..unfortunately, my hair is very fine n thin..its hard for me to use much of anything on it, other that hairspray..I am trying to do my makeup like you are teaching us to do..lol..I live minutes away from the beach here in Florida, and they don't have some of the products you share with us..lol..but I am trying with what I have..thank you so much, for being so faithful in doing all the tutorials...hope you have a blessed week..

I am using them Catwalk and Enjoy but need something to use on side of my head I sleep on. Hair is thinner and I don't want to be able to see the pink underneath. I love my pixie. I am 88 years old and have snow white hair.

Hi I’m going in for a Pixie cut. I loved your tutorial.My question is that because your hair is mixed charcoal. That it looks more defined. Will this look go for a darker hair color?
You are right in that the highlights do help add dimension to the overall look of this style. However, I think this cut would look great on darker hair as well!

#2 Plea For Help, Dear Sharalee ~ So, before I went to her for "slightly darker shade underneath for some depth, and with blonde highlights worked in on top of hair, but NO YELLOW in blonde highlights! (My hair, when I entered the "High End Elite Salon - Description of it, not Name, was very, VERY much light blonde from highlights & the sun, with my natural, beginning Silver hairs interspersed throughout) & I had grown it past my shoulders due to Covid.
Here's the Thing, Sharalee...She HAD it! I told her before she rinsed it after removing the foils - That's IT!!! THAT'S the color combination I REALLY HOPED I'd Get -. No yellow visible & dark blonde at roots. had warned her not to use anything WARM or "Golden" cause my hair GRABBED RED!!!
I LOVED IT...and told her she was AMAZING!!! (1ST TIME w/ this Master Stylist and Salon)! I truly was Blown Away with her Talent/Training...
She rinsed, washed it, and I could feel her putting something else on with a btl. w/a tip. She said it was a toner and would make the color last longer.
After I finally got to see it, because she had me turned away from the mirror the whole time she blew it out and styled it, IT WAS A REDDISH BROWN -
ALL OF IT, Sharalee!!! (She immediately had to go p.u. her child from school because, "We ran later than I expected," she said. And she was Out of There!
I was so STUNNED, I couldn't pick my mouth off the floor; much less Speak!
I paid the $435 bill and walked to my car like a Zombie.

No falsies, just mascara🥰 I always use a mascara primer (I believe I used Origins Underwear for Lashes here) and then my main mascara is the IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara.

haha .. bed head ..try this: finger blow till dry, finish on cool setting ..put wax on fingertips and work through to style ..little spray ..not much.

I don't like to spend a lot of time doing my makeup, even though I think your makeup always looks stunning. I just don't have the patience. But something I do have a huge problem with is my eyebrows. I just don't have a clue how to shape them and I look really funny with eyebrow pencil or powder. What do you recommend as far as cleaning up my brows? I have tweezed my brows for years but the shape never looks right. I've been watching several of your eyebrow videos this afternoon, but I can't find anything about how to start from scratch. Hi, I’ve always loved your hair and makeup. Is your hair fine, but there’s a lot of it? Or do you have natural wave or curl, especially when it’s longer? I love these styles for myself, however, my hair is fine but thick and I always struggle with getting body into it.
Oh, thank you💕 I have more coarse hair and a lot of it. Also, I do have a few random waves here and there so I always had to curl or straighten it when it was longer. The Catwalk Root Boost does wonders for creating volume....not sure if you've tried that yet but I've heard from several that it's really helped their hair!😘

I am loving these styles, I have a pixie cut too but mine always just falls flat! 😏...I can't seem to get that Enjoy Dry Wax nor the Aussie Instant Freeze hairspray here in the UK, the waxes I have here do nothing for my hair, it just stays soft and flat, can you recommend products similar that I can get over here, as I'd like to try these styles? I'm not sure if the Bed Head Matte Manipulator is available there or the Catwalk Root Boost but those are two products that really help with volume and hold. I enjoyed this video but it does seem like a lot of dry wax was used. I am going to get that brand of wax, as I recently got a pixie cut and am having a hard time styling it with products that I used for shoulder length hair!
I think you'll love how the Enjoy Dry Wax works on your new pixie cut! While it may have seemed like I was using a lot of wax, I was really using very small amounts. That's what I love about the Enjoy is that you don't need much and can rework the hair easily by heating up the wax already in your hair with a blow dryer😊

You are right, it certainly is! I'd style it with the bangs forward and/or slightly swooped to the side😊

I have thick, coarse hair with just a few random waves. While you may have to do a little more work with the flat iron I think this style could work for you too!😘

That is my natural color😊 It's about a level 4.5 - 5 dark ash brown.
